  1. Kubei's guide for 6.2 (and other things)

Just logged in my PTS account to make sure. You can indeed do it on ancient-grade PvE gear, but it not on PvP gear. Examples i used for this were CoE gear (level 78 ancient-grade - PVE) and Courageous Fighter (level 80 ancient-grade - PVP). This isn't possible in any of the Lakrum sets that you get at level 75, wether it be PvE or PvP. Wish i had legendary grade stuff to have more information regarding this. Either way yeah, time will tell.

Ohhh, yeah that's the reason. You can't use that on ancient grade gear and i believe not in legendary either. Only remembered that now that you said it xD. But yeah it's definitely a p2w feature. But hey, at least it's only on the max gear and EU did find a way to soft-fix this with the 40 Luna on every gold pack activation. Don't know what NA will do about it though, if anything.

Took this from Jalnu's stream (http://afreecatv.com/optima1641). Granted this is 6.5 (stream from 2 days ago) but it was there before that patch, i only got it from here because it was the last place that i remembered seeing it and my memory's kinda bad+been watching a ton of KR stuff the past month or so. As for instances, if you've been spamming them then you've surely got a better sample than me. I've really only been doing CoE's and i guess it'd make sense for the shugo to spawn there more often as it is always the same skill and it's kind of the "introduction daevanion skill". Entered Frozen Monolith twice, shugo was there once, i don't know if he had a box or not because i had just entered to see how duoable it was up until boss in yellow gear so i didn't get to the boss. Not sure though, but i believe you are more correct than me.
  4. Kubei's guide for 6.2 (and other things)

A few things on my experience on the EU 6.2 PTS related to your original post: -Korea has the "Selective re-identification" aswell, it just costs Quna instead of Luna. -As for the daevanion skill shugo, i haven't spammed instances that much but from the ones i've done, the shugo was actually showing up quite frequently and i can't remember a single time where he didn't drop a daevanion skill box. Again, keep in mind that my experience regarding instances was pretty limited, i mostly did CoE's where the shugo always drops a box with the same daevanion skill for your class (as in, if you already got that skill, just pass on the roll because it will not give you anything new nor money as it cannot be sold - it npc's for 19k kinah) -Don't know if they nerfed contracts or not, but i got 2 ancients out of less than 100. I think i ended up opening a total of 130 or so (counting today's contracts) and did not get any more ancients past those that i got at around the 80-90 mark. -I noticed the lack of skins in the shop, which is actually pretty weird considering EU used to have a ton of skins in their shop compared to NA. Hope they change that, i'm a skin nyerk afterall.
  5. Haha yeah support classes don't exist.
  6. Smh. To the people complaining...you realize you're only getting this conversion because the company realizes how p2w they've made the game, right? The ideal scenario would be for there to be absolutely 0 compensation so everyone would be on the same level. But the whales wouldn't be too happy about that and NCSoft can't really afford to let them go at this point. Just look at the video that was posted about 6.2 damage. The damage difference is abysmal. In 5.8 being a new player is so bad if you're playing by yourself (no friends to carry u etc) because the gear difference is so big. Now look at 6.2, difference will be around the same; you get PvP gear by doing PvP and probably more than half the people running around will be 3-4 shotting you (because they've played before and got compensation) while you (a new player) take 2mins to kill them if they just sit there and do nothing. So...how do you get PvP quests done for your PvP gear? Don't be surprised if a new server opens. Anyone remember how in 3.0 you could actually kill people with lower grade gear as long as you outplayed the other person really badly? Now as a new sorc (example) you nuke people for a whole 300 dmg while they have 25k+ HP, really fun game.
  7. They ruined Glad forever!

I'm guessing you're not aware of who Sungmin is. From what I've seen, yeah I guess glads do seem weaker ever since the patch that nerfed a bunch of classes. But who cares? They were so stupidly broken before that patch and you will know this if you've watched any pvp videos. Plus I'm pretty sure the class has been pretty busted for a long time, so it's about time. Just like sorc was OP in 3.0 and now they're rubbish. At least glad isn't rubbish tier, they're just not stupid broken tier.
  8. Tia Eye NPC and rewards

Funny enough, this is the only thing that will actually work. Buuuuuuuuut of course, even if one or two people do it, the rest won't because people like to say that they want to make a change but won't actually do anything themselves to help make the change. They will just keep feeding NCWest money and they'll just keep their mentality of "we can do whatever we want because there are no real consequences". EDIT: I'm not subscribed to the game because...well, I think you can guess. Otherwise I'd post a screenshot of the unsub.
  9. Tia Eye NPC and rewards

I just personally find it hilarious how many people still blame NCSoft for this rather than NCWest, just like every time that NCWest has messed up something like this. Every region has their own variations of the game, but I guess it's sort of hard to realize how different every region can be when you only play one. Please do keep buying into their whole "guys we're completly powerless and apparently we can't even do something as simple as research what goes on in Korea (something a normal player can do) so that we'll know ahead of time what's coming and work with that information", I'm sure they love it.
