  1. My Executor had no problems in KT. You must be doing something wrong. Only pull one mob at a time.
  2. What's the different roles of https://support.aiononline.com and https://us.ncsoft.com/en-us/support Which one are you supposed to report game play issues on?
  3. Doesn't surprise me, it seems to have a lot of enclaves forming. PvP creates gear fear. Skill doesn't count, it's all about gear .... lol.
  4. No way, Nezekan is way more expensive than Siel like 300% or more. The only thing that is really expensive on Siel is the amount of AP you need for officers ranks. eg. if you want to be Governor it's going require almost 29million AP.
  5. It's in about an hour and a half. No idea what Classic version they are running, it's been modified.
  6. I agree, I have watched multiple times in a row where manastone socketing fails on the last slot, seldom does it fail on the 2nd. last slot, compared to the number of failures on the last slot. It's definitely not a flat chance.
  7. You realize there is a Shugo on Hellfire that sell stigma shards, that's all it sells.
  8. That's the idea, it's to be pushed into quests and instances for rewards instead of grinding mobs. In other words, actually playing the game.
  9. I believe the devs do not want you to farm kinah, they want you to get it from quests and instances the kinah rewards for which they will increase when the 1 kinah merchant reward system comes in. I don't know if we get it in 2.7 or have to wait for a later patch.
  10. As someone pointed out earlier, the Korean servers now make the merchants only pay 1 kinah for a word drop item. Hardly a great incentive to run a world farming bot. What it does show, is that the Korean devs have a strategy to combat the crazy inflation the bots have caused in the game.
  11. It's interesting how the drop rate reduction has bought all the bot runners out to complain over and over in CAPS. Hopefully they will move to the EU.
  12. Correct, the announcement for normal retail is there as well. It's currently Wednesday UTC, but I presume the long maintenance is still many hours off. It looks like they might have made a timing mistake with the start of the maintenance. Aionops on twitter says Classic 2 hrs normal Aion 7hrs which doesn't agree with the announcement in this thread.
  13. Because the server is down for a 7hr maintenance like this thread announced.
  14. The announcement said 10pm UTC and would last for 7hrs. That's the only time you need to know, UTC doesn't change, doesn't have daylight savings or other distortions.
  15. You just noticed eh? Most people noticed from day 1 when Classic had the Aion 2.7 user interface. Then of course the addition of Tiak instance was a bit of a dead give away, which I think is an improvement over the original Aion. Some trolls here are hoping everyone flees to Aion 1.9 on the EU server opening on April 12th. If the trolls flee to the EU forums, that would be pretty cool. The drop rates are only a problem because things like manastones fail to often. A simple 10% increase in the socketing base success rate, which Loki could probably do if he is still around, would help that a lot.
  16. The bot owners will keep spending money, as long as they can keep getting enough people to buy their kinah, with enough real money to cover costs.
  17. I think a $5/mth. for 5hrs per day could be popular.
  18. I don't believe the claim that most of the active Classic players are from the EU, Aion retail doesn't have many EU players because there has always been EU version, which shows there is a sufficient NA player base to keep the server going. There is a huge Latina portion in Classic, and by definition, they are not from the EU. I have stopped playing Aion, but I bet there will be reports here about the change in player numbers when the EU goes live. I would be really surprised if it has a great impact. Peak online times in Classic are after midnight in the EU. Most EU people have lives, so they go to sleep, therefore the vast majority of online players at peak times, should be from other locations than the EU.
  19. Fair enough. If there is no hope of the devs fixing the things they took away from us in Classic, then it's time for me to delete the game and go back to GW2. So long and thanks for all the fish.
  20. I did a test today, rolled my first Asmo character on an account which has never played Aion Classic before, no other toons to leverage off. Getting up to Level 14 was so so, only did the campaign, still had enough kinah to pay for skill books, when I hit level 15 Haramel became available so I did that. Entered with 5k kinah and finished the run with 87k after handing in the quests. More than enough to pay for skill books up to Level 19 and get a level of cube upgrade. I noticed the open world drops were terrible, but in the instance they were fine, almost ever mob drops a little kinah which adds up. The thing to remember is skill books are dirt cheap for the first 30 or so levels.
  21. Why are you changing stigmas that often? The price of shards will limit crazy stigma changing. Do you change you manastones often as well? The price of those will also limit crazy manastone changing. Working as intended, otherwise there would be no stigma shards in the first place to govern the stigma change rate.
  22. It had a different business model back then. Instead of Siel's Aura you simply couldn't play if you didn't pay. People didn't know how to run bots. I remember chatting with a player in Theo that was killing mobs ever day, and he told me came from Asia, and was being paid by someone to farm, in effect, he was a bot. Nowadays, NCsoft sees bots as an important revenue stream, the reduction in open world drops helps bots get an advantage, because they will farm all day, but regular players will give up trying for drops. Bot runners will be ahead of other players, therefore they justify the Siel's Aura purchase.
  23. When Elyos occupy Vorgaltem Citadel, Asmos can glide in from the kisks above and destroy all the Elyos kisks, and kill any afk players. Surely this can not be intentional.
  24. A new characted should get enough kinah from quests to get skills and pots up to at least level 40. By then you should be good enough at gathering and crafting to make sustainable kinah.
