Tiak had to be translated into English, Chinese, Japanese. The voice over actors don't just sit there waiting for new Aion content, they have to be booked, and I bet they don't book them untill the game is running well for weeks on the Korean servers first. Internationalization of game content takes time, this is not news, been discussed by others before, why do you think after each patch some dialogs come up in Korean again? There is a lot to check in a game and stuff always gets missed. New gear, interface changes, they all have to be checked. However, this outage is something very different, not just an internationalization issue.

Not so, Tiak was a whole new instance, with campaign quest, cinematic voice over etc.

NA is always behind the Korean version, generally 6mths, because the game is written in Korean, and has to be translated to English, which is not a simple mouse click, they have to hire professional voice over artists for any new or changed content. I believe that part is done in Japan.

The NA CM team has probably gone home. Twitter will probably be the devs or sysadmins.

I hate the idea of conditioning, augmenting, tempering, enchantment supplements, transform scrolls, stigma and skill enchanting etc. they are all make work needless fluff items, it only gets worse each patch. That's one of the main reasons most Aion players moved from retail to Classic when it was launched.

I didn't notice a thing other than the screaming on this forum, and the server going down for an unscheduled maintenance. I got up early to look at the new PvP gear at the merchants, looked at the Valentine rewards at the NPC in Sancutm, had a good Dredge win, did the Ingg daily quests, and started on the Daeva pass weekly event quests. Nothing special dropped from the daily quest mobs I killed, nor any of the mobs in Dredge.

I stand corrected, that was 5:45am for me, so I was asleep at that time and I didn't notice anything had changed. In this case thought, it's 9:30am in my timezone, so I will notice if there is a rollback.

I call BS on your claim. Show me the official announcement that it happened.

I still don't believe you. I have never experienced a roll back in Aion. Methinks you are confusing deleting items obtained by a bug, with a rollback, they are not the same concept. A rollback is when you restore the server to last known good backup before the bug existed, in this case it would mean Aion 2.4 backup from yesterday. A rollback would delete all the Quna and other items you purchased with real money since the server came up after maintenance, that alone would cause an incredible legal uproar.

I don't believe you. The uproar from a rollback would create way more anger than the bug they are trying to fix. All they ever do is take the server down, and apply a bug fix patch, most often they leave it until the next maintenance unless it's really bad.

I have been playing Aion since 2009 and they never have rolled back the servers, I doubt they have written the software to do that.

I thought Padmarashka was in Aion 2.7 not 2.5.

I hope they fixed Dredge, geared groups are killing the Captain in about 5min, and with the new gear it will be in even less time.
