This is totally true. If you watch a stream from Korea, the amount of bots in open world is INSANE. They pretty much kept the balaur mobs there full cleared all the time, I mean the elite mobs too. When I was watching my friend stream there he went to Hoarfrost and the amount of bots in that one camp had to be greater than people we have for a fort siege. This 'solution' was designed for a region with an enormous population with an even more enormous bot population. It is totally killing the economy for our small population. Things are selling on the broker SO much more slowly now because everyone is broke. No drop rates open world and bad drop rate in instances is complete insanity.

Yeah, and don't forget scrolls and potions. Also the millions to get newer normal stigmas and skill books. Attack 5's are over a million ea. on broker, it would take months to socket a single PvP piece if you aren't very lucky.

It appears that kinah and manastones also don't drop open world? WTF is wrong with NCSOFT? So, if we can't find groups on a dead server we are just going to have no kinah? AWESOME IDEA!!!!!!!!!!

This is really disappointing to hear because of the low amount of groups that form to run instances because our population is so low. It is difficult to get a group for anything. On the asmodian side you sometimes don't see a single LFG dredge group form for several minutes after window.
In KR this solution maybe works because each faction on every server probably has hundreds or thousands of instances run a day. We'll have a few dozen maybe. We need open world drops.
At least if open world drops were as good as they used to be in retail in 2.0 I could go out and grind and maybe have a shot at getting something useful to d/e or craft with. Bots are still going to grind regardless and make kinah. My gaming experienced is ruined more by the nerfed drop rates than the bots.

I'm happy about the AP boost weekends. Definitely makes things more lively in game.

Real players are keen for drops. Bots are there regardless. I'm tried of losing money when grinding DP for PvP instances, used to be you could make decent kinah killing ~50 mobs.
