  1. Get used to botting.  It's the only thing that makes the game playable in these other regions.  Renown, cubics, xp marks, etc, now require botting.  Botting has been required for the game for a while, but the West really disliked this feature because we've been so conditioned that it feels like cheating.  Yet, NCWest did nothing to address the lack of botting when they introduced new mechanics and currencies that Korea and other regions had.  This made life worse for average players.  Now folks should just embrace botting, NC has given up, even embraced it as a way of life.

PLEASE NOTE: After May 6-8, the double XP/AP weekends will no longer continue. We hope you have enjoyed these special boost weekends while they were in effect.

Currently May 6 and double XP isn't active.  Why remove these, they were pretty popular and didn't cost anyone anything?  Every time an event breaks, event descriptions are inaccurate, or forum posts are inaccurate, we should get another xp weekend.  That'd keep them running for quite a while. ;)

All of the extra transformations should be acquirable via combination. Why on earth did they exclude those from combining?

8.2 is introducing some RNG transparency mechanisms.  I hope NC starts being more transparent about what is possible to obtain via combination.  The expectation by most is that transformation combinations yield a random higher grade if successful, or a random current grade if unsuccessful with 100% of the transforms of that grade being candidates for the result.  If this isn't in fact true, then NC should be clear about the nuance.  It's very easy to mislead a player base behind RNG failures where the situation is broken and certain results are impossible, not simply unlikely.

  4. Folks cry when there is no event.  So there needs to be some event going constantly.  Snake rewards are better this year than in the past and the buffs are ok.  Should include an xp buff (non-crafting) or put on a server-wide xp buff.  This snake event is definitely better than nothing.  Also, this is accessible to the f2p crowd.  I assume that's better than nothing to them too.

  5. @Rinwrt the Celestial weapon component of this event.  Unlike past events where one could directly work towards a celestial weapon, or weapon set.  The acquisition of celestial weapons as part of this event is quite limited.  An rng proc for an item among an assortment of other items.  This makes it very difficult to do any deliberate farming of celestial weapons.

Secondly, a key benefit of celestial weapons and this event has been the ability to acquire the Divine Protection skills.  These skills are quite powerful and at high levels are a differentiator in combat.  Unfortunately, and by design, these skills are currently only available for acquisition during this event.  Once this event is over folks will need to wait another year to acquire these skills.  This frustrates veterans with alts and new/returning players alike.

So here are some suggestions for celestial weapons and divine protection skills.

    1. Make celestial weapons easier to directly work towards in future events.
    2. Make celestial weapons easier to acquire outside of events.  Right now, the only way outside of events to acquire these items is the Game of Fate.  Consider adding them to AS, lockbox, prestige and event coin vendors.
    3. *Important* Make the Divine Protection quests available outside of events, so that as players acquire celestial weapons over time, they have the same opportunities to acquire these valuable skills.

Thanks for continuing to listen.  There are a few miss em and their gone forever aspects of Aion that I think players would like to see changed.  How Aion treats celestial weapons and the divine protection skills is one of them.

When someone tries to pick up the quest for Meteor, it wants us all to use an Aethertech Skill, which is physically impossible if you are NOT an Aethertech.

The Heavenly quests are triggered by using the skin skill on the celestial items.  So use the solar/lunar/meteor skills and you'll be fine.

So I wouldn't worry too much (the +10 reward is an armor piece only not weapon).

Wait what?  Where is this stated?  Weapons are very much equipment and found in equipment boxes in this same event.  Again @Rin, players need to know exactly WHAT IS IN THE BOXES so that we can best plan how or if to participate in these events.

Successfully enchant or obtain 2 or more +9 Paragon Gear (armor or weapon) during the event period.

    • Players may enchant any previously owned gear between +0 and +8 to the required +9 to count towards the requirements.
    • Players who receive +9 Paragon gear through the promotion bundles will also count towards the requirements.
    • Previously owned +9 Paragon gear PRIOR to the event will NOT count.

@RinCan you provide clarity here?  What is the trigger here?  Does obtaining a +9 enchanted by another player during this event count as obtaining the gear?  Can gear to be enchanted across multiple toons on a single account and still qualify (1 item enchanted on toon A, 1 item enchanted on toon B)?  Does enchanted gear need to reside on the account when the event closes?  What if it is sold, traded, destroyed before the event closes?  How will reward boxes be routed?  Will they be storable in account warehouse, or delivered to account-wide mail?

Consume over 100 Ultimate Paragon Enchantment Stones or Blessed Ultimate Paragon Stones.

Players can mix and match the consumed amount of Ultimate and Blessed stones to achieve the total 100 consumed requirements. (Example: you may use 50 Ultimate and 50 Blessed to be eligible.)

How is consumption counted?  Does this total consider consumption across all toons on the account, or must consumption happen on a single toon?

No, the servers will be in Eastern Standard Time which is 1 hour later than it currently is.

Depends on how you look at it.  To someone on Central Standard Time, those in Easter Standard Time are an hour ahead.  So 19:00 Server Time will feel like sieges are starting an hour before they normally start.

Although, this is a good time to revisit siege times.  Since moving off Daylight Savings Time, the sieges have defacto started an hour early, now this adds a second hour.  So times that were 7/10p Eastern would now be 5/8p Eastern.  That wrecks Pacific Time players.  Regardless of where the server is located, can we go back to the 7/10p Eastern schedule please?

Something I just thought of.  RNG is usually hardware dependent.  There's a chance that we'll get better randomness with the move.  Hopefully, no more 42 fails in a row when attempting to enchant stigs.
