No however there are player and posters here that are from the EU and can answer the question......as you see was done. Plus there are many players that play and visit forums outside of their region. I started playing Aion on EU based server. The lag was less and the people were nicer.......as you see was done. Im actually wondering of it was delayed bue to this change of events? I mean GF is no doubt aware of the issues NCSW is having and dont want the same issue, so may be TRYING to renegotiate? But the sad fact of the matter, we in the NA might only be able to get any game related info from EU going live. IF they have DEVs that actually GAS about their players, it might be worth asking.......... Just saw this actually: The EU version of AION recently went live on the Gameforge client, but unfortunately the MMORPG encountered some technical issues during the process. As the team works to fix these issues Gameforge announced today that the launch of AION Classic would be delayed.Apr 7, 2023

Actually I get this message on Classic when NO maint. is happening. Have done the steps you tried some times it fixed it sometimes it didnt. I do believe however it is a server side issue with not much to be done about it Not the only reason it happens.

I HEARD in KR they are using a World Broker. Which helps with needing to buy items. That way its harder to gouge. However, if it is true that is why it seems they dont care about drop rates, but WHERE do they get the kinah to even buy? I get you get some from questing but it also costs to place items on broker, and not being able to charge millions of kinah, I dont see anyone get shugo rich quick. Plus why would KR have such an issue with changing drop rate back? Unless its just to kill the outside market game play? UGH.

Yep. Pulled out my bag of tricks granted its about 10 years old lol. Like you said you wont die from the dot, well the tank wont anyway . I have played a healer sometimes reluctantly in most games I have played. I can deal with asshats. Its just about the GP of it all sometimes. Tell people "dont come back til youre geared/stig'd....but ahem just how are ya gonna do that without robbing the poor shugo!?! Helping each other to a point helps people learn. But when we are all out for ourselves just trying to nickel and dime to get needed in game junk it just makes it more frustrating and more toxic. Especially when any other game I have played they F it up, hot fix within days not months. Or atleast they have explained so the player base knows. Not really heater over stones since I have no gear to actually put it on ROFL.....which is a whole other other other issue! There for if you choose to want to spec into said tree....you can not...... thats kind of the point as to why many clerics are looking for it. The single push dispel is just nice to have to boot In OG Aion I actually left NA server as it was so congested you couldnt more. We played on the EU server Oceana I think it was, and then it was merged. There were scads of EU players back then, I can say how many now as its nowhere near what it was.....sigh. Sad. Miss my EU Babies.

Why wonder. Here is the skinny. I just MIGHT give it a try. Because I like the game and HOPE someone will get it right. I dont think you actually understand WHY people play any game. Its because they as, Squid said, LIKE THE PRODUCT. Just because the s that "maintain" the product dont do their jobs correctly doesnt mean the product, if managed correctly, cant be good. Plus its my money why would someone I dont know care what I do with it, or what game I play? You seem to be more upset about the people that play the game more than the game issues. Again as I stated in my opinion of your post......you need to do alot more research into the people that play before you can BEGIN to even comment. I do enjoy the conversation, and Im not mad at ya, but why spend the time flaming other's opinion when yours is a bit flawed? I will let you know April 17th if I decide to sub up with the EU if you like, which if they are keeping an eye on NA, hopefully has learned what to avoid the pitfalls we have here. So let me get this straight......I dont know anything about the game I played from beta, and wasnt there when the I complained about affected MY game play. I dont know how to quit a game I actually LOVED playing because I came back YEEEEEEARS later to semi classic version of classic (because KR tried to improve on the classic mostly for RETURNING players) and AGAIN paid money expecting NCSWest to hold up their end of the contract. But basically, in the end I know nothing at all?...... So wtf are you mad at? The player base or the Admin? Since YOU have been posting for a year (bless your little heart) YOU feel YOU and YOU alone are the ONLY player that knows ANYTHING about Aion? Its not rocker science Dear. Before YOU can even make a millionth of the the ASSumptions YOU make in this post YOU would have to spoken to EVERY poster to ascertain their experiences with Aion and NVSWest. So until then YOU are just like EVERYONE ELSE. While SOME points you make are valid, the rest is just YOUR whiny opinion about YOUR experiences and thoughts about the game and the people that play it...... Not trying to flame you, BUT its hard not to see the hypocrisy in your post.

First of all why offend the PLAYER BASE? Part of the reason people do not progress or know how to "play correctly" is because of the elitist upper echelon. Those that enjoyed classic from the beginning know the runs and there for RUSH through. Most times without explaining or having the patients for new players. This causes more frustration within the game. Being under geared or stoned causes these "bully types" to brand players as bad or rubbish as you said. HELPING players, which does happen occasionally, will help keep new blood so they can become better players. This is not an Admin issue this is a player based issue easily dealt with. You complain about the hacking asmos, but not the hacking Elyos. There is no easy way to report these people as they removed the ability to do so...wonder why that is? If the Admin is not willing to do about the hacking/botting issue going and doing the same is not the answer. Personally I just beat the crap out of the bot keeping them from doing what they are programed to do. But as a player WE should not have to do the Admins job. (However if they want to hire me to do so I am not apposed to that!) Plus you may not be aware of the opposite faction issues without being the spy complained about. I play asmo, and the groups looking to do UT/BT etc looking for players actually say in their posts GEARED <insert class needed> IE the items that are NOT dropping/or are SO expensive: Stones/Gear blah blah, so you cant even get into said groups. Using Adma for example. Most are RUSHING to Lannok bypassing other mini bosses which drop upgrades. So without upgrades its going to be harder to get the better gear, unless you happen to have millions of Kinah to BUY loot rights. Then you can have the BEST Cleric in the game healing, but without Splendor of Pacification you need to be nimble quick to double dispel to keep the group from wiping. While it is possible to do, its frustrating and again the elitist bullies (some are same said people that sell stigma for 30mil+) blame the cleric for the wipe and end up kicking the cleric thereby cheating them of the main reason they are there. Which people miss the point of selling in the first place. It is not to just make you "Game Rich" it is to ALSO to help the others in game that you rely on to get things done. IE the afore mentioned cleric. If its too hard to play without getting flames, they quit or they simply play another class and you are left not being able to run for lack of healers. Im not just stating these as a hypotheticals, this has happened to me before, and not just this game. Im not going to totally rip apart your opinion as you are entitled to it as are we all. And most of your post is spot and helpful too about mechanics and needs of players to advance, thank you for that. But the main and truest fact of the matter is this: Becuase of the lack of Admin doing the simplest tasks of their function NA Aion is dying. Period. It would be much easier to have SOMEONE ANYONE explain to us WTF is doing on. Some that are actually spending money in the form of Seil's Aura deserve atleast that. Had someone done so, and done so CORRECTLY alot of this could have been avoided. Most of us know NCSWest does not have the legal rights to pick Aion apart, but seems to me that is kind of whats happeneing..... I personally think Admin is TRYING to kill NA Aion. Why else would they do as they are doing? This is the same thing that happened in CoH (City of Heroes.) Once they decided to kill the game, during the last days there were stupid issues and no Admin around to help, nor did they bother to fix ANYTHING. The player base was left to nyerk and moan about it. IF thats the case tell us.....I understand they want to nyerk and pillage as much as they can get in the end, but really this becomes a legal issue now. Yes real life legal. They are offering a service which they are not providing, Imagine if they are counting on 1mil from players buying Seil's but then are sued for 30mil and lose...... where is the come up in that? Bottom line is SOMETHING is going on behind the scenes and its about time someone start telling us something! /rant off not trying to Hijack your post. Hopefully we will see and end to this soon, be it good or bad.

FictionGirl: MY simple answer? Most of us dont play because we like the publisher of a game. We play for the Lore and the fun of it. We play with friends or make them as we play, THATS what makes the game fun and why people stay or come back. Look at World of Warcraft. As old as that game is atleast the DEVs add new content and listen to its player base, and keep it fresh and actually knows what maintenance means. That is why we keep playing or returned for almost 20 years. Obviously people like playing Aion or no one would be upset at the current events happening with it. If we looked at it the way you do, why play ANY game new or old...they are all the same: Make a toon, level a toon, craft some junk, battle the opposing faction, talk crap in LFG, gripe at the DEVs etc. If you look closely no one is bitching about AION the game, we are bitching about the lack of communication from those supposedly responsible for providing information about issues changes etc. Hope that helps?........ Dear NCS Why? Why even bother with the classic server if you were not willing to maintain it? You had a great game and let it fall apart. Now the money you want and need will be flowing across the sea. You do realize that MAINTINACE means to MAINTAIN right? So far you have done nothing to keep any of your player base informed OR happy. All you have managed to do is nyerk people off and start a bunch of law suits. If your main goal was to crash Aion Classic to create a mass exodus......CONGRATZ, it worked! However this doesnt bode well for your new game coming out. Why would we want to leave a game you FU for another game you run, just to get interested and invested in another, just to have to kill it? Mind you this is the THIRD time you have killed a game for me. Would be sad if a boycott of your NEW game caused it to also flop.... Of course I do understand you only copy and paste from KR, but you could atleast hire a monkey to type a response to the millions of request for info. Even being told to FO is better than silence. If its staff hire some actual people then, all it takes is ONE person to offer and explanation. To the player Base: Yes I understand no one but us will read this post, but it gives me an outlet to say a thing or two. If you want to add to it GREAT, feel free. I thought I read KR was ok with the loss of drops and this was the reason we were hit with it. Instead of checking codes it was copied and pasted and poof there went NA drop rate......but then again there are so many d dashing rumors because NCWest cant seem to figure out how to actually type a message instead of copying and pasting, so the rumor ill runs amuck. PS if anyone happens to translate the KR threads let us know? Im glad and very thankful you are looking for this information but it does no good to present proof .......if no one can read it.....

Actually they totally nerked Classic and are at this point stealing money from the player base. Not only did manstones disappear but No Drops, no kinah, and broker prices are SO INSANE why play. But it seems like you guys over on Retail arent having much fun either. You would be surprised. I actually started playing on the EU server back in the day as it suited those of us that work grave yard shift. Besides "Aion is a GREAT game, just because the people that maintain it arent up to par.......

Then you would have a dying company. Gaming Companies should listen their player about certain things. If the public doesnt like it then who will play it and send the money they want people to spend which is why NCS adopted the P2W strategy in the first place. What you see as whining, could be just that, but some is also constructive wants rom people who PAY to play this game. But since you arent NCS or a player concerned with a complete game tell me......why ARE you here. To whining about the whiners whining?
