As for the extendable, its understandable why its only in hard mode instances. Extendables  have always been very late game and for the hard core players, they've always sort of been difficult to obtain and by having it drop in a instance that can be reset is quite a relief for all of those hard core players.

The thing is, these are 7.0 weapons. Those of us who can complete the hard mode instances already have these weapons -- and we've had them for a long, long time. It's the new/returning/undergeared players who still need these weapons, but by having them drop from Frigida and Beritra only, it prevents them from getting them (in those instances). They should drop from the 1st bosses in PFHM and IDDHM, not the final bosses.

There will be another extendables in 7.8 according to videos I watched, but it seems they brought some old ones in that event. Probably that's why people are not happy.

I get that, and I'm well aware of the new extendable. My point is they gave you guys what you were asking to have added to events lol.

If there's anything to complain about, it should be the fact that their chance to drop is only from last bosses, and the instance list is very short. Ungeared/mid-geared people cannot beat Frigida and Beritra in PFHM and IDDHM, so putting the chance on the last bosses in those instances was silly. And Veilenthrone? Really? It's easy as hell now, but there are 18 people in there. So *IF* the weapon drops, you have to roll against 17 other people.

I think these are 6.0 extendables, not the 7.0 ones. Not sure since I am a mage and never bothered with them, but others stated this.

No, it is the 7.0 Anomos version.

  3. I don't say this unkindly, but it's not just the xform and minion that's stopping you. It is your gear, your non-advanced stigmas, your non-advanced Daevanion skills, your lack of enchanted gemstones, your lack of enchanted runestones, your non-existent cubics, your non-existent collections, more more more. Sadly, Aion is just a "more more more" game now. Not sure it's worth returning for you. Best of luck to you either way though.

However, I think the system itself is not very intuitive.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, there are many such things in this game that are not clear at all. Good luck to you on getting a refund.

  5. Actually it says that it is not tradable. That's what the little "x" next to tradable means. If something is tradable, it will have a checkmark like this:

Maybe they will still refund you, I don't know. You can email support directly at support@aiononline.com. Just be sure to include your account name (not the same thing as your character name).

What was the reason for not opening them when luna was over? No shade, just asking why would people keep them in pouches, it is not like you save space, you already must have had other mats opened already.

Some people believed/hoped they would update the rewards inside the pouches in a future patch.

The game is dead, you're just watching it go extinct

    Watching everyone accept it*

It used to be that those of us who spent money on the game continued to do so even though we knew the game was declining. Now a lot of us aren't spending money anymore or have drastically decreased the amount we will spend. 🙃 Maybe there were like 100 people spending money a year ago (big spenders, not $20 here or there). Now it's probably down to like 30 people.

  8. The problem now is that everyone's attack stats are too high due to the stats on the gear pieces themselves PLUS attack runestones, advanced stigmas, advanced Daevanion skills, etc. Having 25k attack allows people to just use 3-5 skills to kill you. So if they get the jump on you, it's over. Or if you get the jump on them, it's the same thing, just in your favor. We need to have less attack stats overall (or higher defense stats) because that would make the fights last longer. If you're not hitting as hard, then it will take you longer to kill someone, thus requiring some actual thought to be put into fights and some sort of actual F U N.

    Fun.

What Aion pvp used to be.

So here's something interesting I discovered this morning. I'm not positive, but I thiiiiiink if you let your plants die, you can get a loooot more exp marks in there. I made the mistake of removing Rejuvenating Spell from my rotation in there, went afk, and ended up dying (loool). When I came back, I had 15 minutes left, all of my plants were dead, and there were probably a thousand mobs in there. Up to that point, I had only gained 4 exp marks. I thought about quitting, but decided to just clear the mobs manually in that last 15 minutes. I ended up with 18 exp marks from hard mode with no sort of exp boost (no stars, energy of repose, runestone, etc). Normally, I end up with 7 exp marks from hard mode. Granted, I did not get any of the Lumiel's transmutation energies because my plants had all died, but tbh who tf cares lol. Seriously, there were a TOOOON of mobs that had spawned. I think when your plants are alive, it keeps the mob spawn number down. So if you really want to get a ton of exp in the Garden, I'd recommend letting your plants die in the beginning, letting the mobs build up for the next half hour, then coming back in and manually clearing all of the mobs yourself. I only tried this once, but I really have no other explanation for how I ended up with 18 exp marks in there lol.

Legionmate reminded me about the exp boost we have over the weekend, so I guess that was the extra marks I got. Damn. Was hoping I had stumbled upon a way to get even more exp out of this event, but oh well! :D

Just please stop with the "no name" people. Maybe these people aren't as well known as you are, but they are real people who play the game and their opinions are also valid. We can't have a real conversation here if people are too afraid to voice their concerns and if people are too stubborn to listen to both sides.

  12. I did two runs this morning. I did NOT use any sort of exp booster except Prestige. No exp runestone, Berdin's stars, energy of repose, combat potion, etc.

    Normal Mode:
    744 mobs killed
    (4) exp marks
    (10) Lumiel's transmutation energies
    (16) exp extractors
    (16) Timeless Terrace tonics

    Hard Mode:
    737 mobs killed
    (7) exp marks
    (13) Lumiel's transmutation energies
    (10) exp extractors

So yeah, no tonics from hard mode. I guess the trade-off is you get almost double the exp from hard mode, but no tonics.

  13. It will be what it will be lol. Korea is merging down to 2 servers soon due to decreased population; they just announced yesterday. However, they are adding new servers in Classic. Here in NA, we will likely get a final server merge down to 1 server, they'll open a few servers for Classic mode, and we'll play that for a couple years. Then that will close down, and Aion 2 (mobile game) will finally be released. We just have to go with it or move onto a different game/franchise. No one likes it, but it's our reality. 😕

  14. Evergale was fun back in summer of 2018, but it will never be again unless they want to give actually GOOD pvp rewards, such as souls to trade for Bitterthorn gear, a lot more AP, purple pvp enchantment stones, etc. That will not happen, so EC will remain a pointless endeavor. It's the sad truth about all of the pvp instances currently. Those battlefield coins are absolutely useless.
