  1. There's no need for compensation and it reeks of a mindset that drives me absolutely bonkers: "I have a nice thing. But if OTHER people have the nice thing... it takes away my nice thing!" Like. No. No it nyerking doesn't. More content is being made more readily available to the rest of the playerbase, that's all. Everyone with a +15 stigma setup has enjoyed the benefits from having them all this time- nothing will take away the instances you've cleared, the dps races you've won, the PvP battles you've fought and come out on top for. They're experiences and gameplay the +15 crew got to have earlier and longer than anyone else- that's your "compensation."

  2. Oh geez... Please reconsider the decision to change siege times- like others have said, it would be much better to push the sieges an hour earlier if anything. I don't think anyone has expressed wanting the times changed to be later; I haven't seen it anywhere on the forums, in LFG, or in various AION discord servers. With my particular schedule, I actually benefit from having sieges be later in the evening but that does not mean it is the best time for an entire community. And changing the siege times in the middle of a competition season?? What even.

  3. A few random little issues I've run into:

    • Elyos quest "Balaur Tags" is bugged- it requires the player to kill five Basrasa Deathwalker or Basrasa Farmer, but the mobs have incorrect names in-game so the quest doesn't update.
    • Balaur NPC dialogue is no longer translated, even though I've completed the language potion quest
    • The Lugbug Daily Mission for Kamar Battlefield is worded incorrectly; you need to kill 3 mobs inside KBF, not enter 3 times.

  4. My first impression of the patch was positive, but I wanted to give myself some time to play and get to understand the content more before commenting here all the same.

Overall? I still really like 7.5! I'm gonna discuss some of the positives for me before getting into the negatives.

First of all, I am enjoying the renown system a lot- although a friend who came back to the game just this week had a good observation: it should totally be called reputation. (I don't prefer fame or glory points like it's called in other regions, but renown is a weirdly clunky word when you start saying it out loud on the regular. Reputation makes sense and sounds better- though I would also have accepted a system based around "cool points." :P) I'm the kind of person who starts each new patch by collecting every single new quest, and I think there's a good mix of one-time-only's, repeatables, dailies, weeklies, and general introductory quests. And they're across all the maps, which is great! Reading through this thread, I guess I might be in the minority here? But I genuinely like spending time across the different maps, and always having something I can be working on. There's not so much that it's overwhelming, it's just enjoyable and rewarding questing, with a good dose of fun PvP throughout! Each of the regions have different rewards for leveling renown, so you can even prioritize gameplay on the maps you want to max out your renown for, and skip the ones that you personally don't find rewarding. Having Demaha and Crimson Katalam closed some days also keeps things from getting unnecessarily stressful.

I love having Inggison as a home base- Sanctum hasn't been the hub of activity for a long time (and it got trashed on the Day of Tempest, thanks Ereshkigal), the main Lakrum cities were huge and mostly empty spaces designed for gigantic Jotuns rather than Daevas, and Stellusia is the headquarters of an evil corporation that's swarming with hostile guards. I miss Ariel's Sanctuary sometimes, but being in Inggison genuinely feels like being at home. There's such a strong sense of faction aesthetics and the main forts feel very lived in- especially when you compare them to Lakrum which were 1) identical 2) empty and spread out. Heiron as the leveling zone has similar vibes, and I'm a big big fan!

Another pro for me is the variety of gear options. I appreciated Dark Talon and Frostspark for being such streamlined sets, but DT in particular is SUPER unfriendly to new, returning, and casual players. I don't think people deserve to be dunked on and have a lousy gaming session just 'cause they can't invest in the actual factual best set. Being able to mix and match a variety of drops, crafts, blood mark, and purified gear makes everything so much more fun for everyone. Having both rifting and cross-server shared zones has also resulted in soooo much fun PvP and I've just been having a blast, whether I'm solo or in a group or in a massive league :D

Legion content has been rewarding, I'm glad there's more to do together besides just altar siege and that a lot of progress can be made by working together and supporting one another. Selectable manastones have been more plentiful, which is another little plus.

Now then, time for some negatives. -_-

Tiny complaints first: we still have no cosmetics, boo hiss. Gemstone and runestone shards are hard to come by, and I think implementing them into events or even Abyssal Splinter would be a good move. Just make 'em more plentiful so we can actually use this new gear feature. Standard (non-boss) cubics are also a little trickier to get? But speaking of shards, most people I know are having major issues with storage space. I don't expect any coding to be done to put all the shards into our special cubes, but good lord. Remember the old organizations like Fortuneers and Alabaster Order and stuff? They had storage pets that aren't available anymore, so put those into Lifekeeper rewards. Or hell, a BCM sale for cube expansion coins or storage pets would be frickin' incredible.

Major complaints: Sieges are REALLY boring. I understand why there's no siege defense, so the lack of inter-faction politics with fort flipping is fine by me. But a side effect is that every siege is super static. Inggison forts go to Elyos, Gelk forts go to Asmos. Divine depends entirely on having a god buff because no one is going to fight it out if it means losing credit at Pradeth and Silona, which are generally stalemates anyway. I don't really have a fix in mind for this, besides scrapping Divine, but yeah. It can be a bit of a slog.

I hate hate HATE the +15 stigmas and I only hate them because our +12 safe point is a limited time event. You have no idea how disheartening it is to see people in full 15s and just having to be like "welp, guess they'll one shot me until we get another +12 event (if ever.)" It is unacceptable to expect the majority of the playerbase to either farm 27 alt accounts during Stormwing or to drop thousands of dollars on enchants in order to be viable. Casual folks are still struggling to get full + 9s. It's actually garbage. Make that +12 safe point permanent. Go on. Chop chop. I'm not compromising on this one.

Last complaint is about retunes on new accessories and again, I don't have a fix for since it's straight from the Korean devs. I get that it's great to not have to enchant the new accessories and all, but none of them have heal boost. Without the defensive stats like MR or PDef, they would still be viable for PvE content- but zero heal boost makes them unusable, at least for heal spec clerics. Sure, it doesn't seem like much when it's just a piece or two, but if I commit to the full set of Luminance accs I'm gonna lose well over 1k. I know it's a super class-specific problem but like. I think a good 65% of my rants and bemoanings about 7.5 have been in regards to the lack of heal boost/retunes? Ree.

  5. Hiya! I'll do my best to explain the ins and outs of trading loot rights.

First of all, this can only be done in group instances- for this post, let's just keep it to PF (Normal), IDD, Stellin (Easy and Normal), and FM. (Some people have tried to trade gear from BoS and it's like, oh dear. Very sweet to offer but we can't actually come in and take that drop!)

If there was an alt or other group members inside the instance and in range of the boss, everyone must PASS while rolling on the Ultimate piece. But if you were inside killing the boss by yourself, don't pick up the loot! No roll option will come up if you loot alone, and you can't trade the gear from one character to another if they weren't present for the boss's death.

Next, invite the alt/friend/customer who you want to get the Ultimate piece. IDD has a very very short timer so you'll want them to join the group and enter the instance as fast as they can- ideally have them waiting outside the instance ready to enter before the boss even dies. PF, Stellin, and FM on the other hand, have pretty long timers. A person can enter the instance and only loot the boss 15 minutes after it died. I really recommend having timestamps toggled on the appropriate chat window so you can keep track. Also, after 20 minutes, the boss's body will despawn entirely- so make sure to loot within that 5 minute window!

  6. I'm super glad that this issue is getting fixed at least, but I really hope more furniture gets added... In general, we're all hungry for cosmetics! Mounts, emotes, motions, skins, and furniture getting added to the game or BCM would make the playerbase a lot happier. :D

For furniture specifically, I'd like to see A L L of the bundles/sets made available, not just Breezy and Valentine's day. Don't get me wrong, they're a good start! But that's what they should be: A Start!

Camping, Club, Eastern, Solorius, and Harvest Revel used to be craftable in Luna and we'd all love those back, even through the BCM if not Luna crafts. The unique partitions from Sanctum/Panda shops, crafted furniture, and guestblooms were deleted almost entirely in the 6.0 patch- there's only a fraction of the old crafts that we can get from housing NPCs. For NA in particular, we're missing the brand new Antique Golden and Cloud furniture sets, as well as these cute additions:

    unknown.png

Please @Cyan, we are ready and willing to throw money at this game for cute furniture and skins! P2W events will always be divisive, but literally no one will be unhappy about adding cosmetics to the cash shop.

  7. Rather than a reset, I'd say just raise/remove the AP cap. We all know the legion ranks don't really mean much of anything, but to be fair- have they ever? It's still a feature of the game, listed for everyone to see, so might as well make it at least a little more relevant. You don't even have to wipe everyone to zero; let the super old and dead legions fall off the ranks into obscurity, and let the active ones climb up! ^_^

  8. Rather than remove the limits temporarily or increase the amount of boxes you can buy, they need to remove the limit entirely. Just 100% gone, back to the way it was before the patch. Even EU saw that putting weekly limits on the ancient stone boxes was nonsense, and got rid of it.

The weekly limit is especially punishing to new and returning players. PvE stones don't drop in open world here in NA like they do in EU, and instances no longer drop them either. Your only source of PvE stones is 2 weekly quests per instance, and the 5 weekly boxes. At least you can spam PvP instances for stones and have a chance for legendaries, but there is a similar drought of PvP ancients as well. On top of that, genesis crystals are increasingly plentiful, and there is pretty much nothing to spend them on- I've taken to wasting mine on gear to d/e for manastone fasteners here and there, 'cause why tf not :V

Anyways, it has been brought up before, but please consider it once more @Cyan and remove the 5 box limits. Thank you!

  9. In a previously deleted thread, it was mentioned that this p2w event happened in Korea around the same time in their patch as ours now, but I don't think that's a fair comparison. There are plenty of events that we haven't gotten, or received very late- the Demaha Express event was obviously supposed to be an introduction to Demaha in 6.0 and we got it laughably late. So I think if we were going to get this p2w ulti transform event, it could have been at any time- and SHOULD have been postponed. Like, wait until compensation, bonuses, and stimulus packages have gone out and people are going back to work and are ready to splash some cash on things like Aion again. Introducing it now, when so many of us are stuck at home and out of work is just... it feels really tasteless, and bordering on malicious. "Disappointed and disgusted" is a good way to put it, Fungie. :(

I was excited when they mentioned a supplementary event to Hungry Hatchlings last week because, as great as the rewards are, you are encouraged to stay signed in on your one toon as much as possible. Rather than another login (afk) event like Rainbow Snake, I was hoping for something more active. Kromede's Trial, Daeva Dash, Tia's Eye, and Shugo Tomb are popular requests, but I was thinking the Flower Festival would be a good option with April heralding in springtime and all. Rainbow Snake is famously unrewarding and unpopular, and should really be cycled out like Nightmare Circus at this point.

So hey guys, I saw this thread and for a moment I felt very happy because I was desperately looking for AION RP information. I was very happy to see someone was talking about it... But then, I realize the situation is far worse than I imagined.

I started playing Aion in 2011 and I quit it in 2015, so it's been 5 years of complete silence on my side. I noticed A LOT has changed... Matter of fact, I barely recognize the game. It feels like coming back to an old lover who fell into drugs and alcoholism till completely ruining itself. A horrible show.

I was really hoping to find RP in Aion, for I am a keen RPer and this game has a deep emotional meaning to me (or at least, it used to). However, judging by what I read, it's not even worth installing it these days... at least for what concerns finding RP, which appears to be completely gone.
    So my question is...

Are there still RPers out there who RP in this game? Maybe even in closed-off groups underground?

Well first of all- welcome back to Aion!

The forums aren't really the best representation of the game, or the community. There have been a lot of changes over the years and they're a mix of good and bad- despite what you will see people saying here :P The funniest thing is seeing people go off to play on private servers and they've forgotten how grindy and inconvenient everything used to be; we all forget how nice the quality of life changes are <3 Anyways, 5.0-5.8 were pretty much completely off the rails, and I had a lot of fun back then but I also know a lot of people (including the friends who introduced me to Aion) quit because there were just way too many systems in place for gear and character progression. So 6.0 was the big overhaul/streamlining patch, and things have been increasingly refined since then. I do miss the differences between storylines on Elyos and Asmodian sides as you level up new characters, but it's not like the overarching lore was deleted or ruined- I think people just skip cutscenes and quest dialogue too often and miss out on it all. As for roleplayers, I'm not sure there's any dedicated legions or groups for it anymore, especially because legion content became relevant, if not crucial to gearing up, again. But we're definitely still out there! I love talking about lore and worldbuilding and characters with my friends, even if I don't have time for writing back and forth paras at the moment.

  11. Everyone has such poor reading comprehension omg xD

You only get one egg per account, and 10 tokens just for doing dailies and collecting free ones off the BCM- even if you squeezed all that into less than 2 hours of gameplay, it'd only take what, 42 days to get full rewards? Speaking of which, I'm glad Violeta is pointing out that the rewards are SELECTABLE

    Really? After 6 days:

    • [Event] Legendary Enchantment Stone Selection Box (x3)
    • [Event] Legendary Engraved Manastone selection Box
    • Grade A Minium (x70)
    • [Event] Stigma Enchantment Stone (x3)
    • [Event] Daevanion Skill Selection Box (10 Types)
    • [Event] Special Transformation Contract (62 Types) (x3)

    After 20 Days:

    • [Event] Ultimate Enchantment Stone Selection Box
    • [Event] Legendary Enchantment Stone Selection Box (x5)
    • Engraved Ultimate Manastone Selection Box
    • Grade S Minium (x40)
    • Grade A Minium (x120)
    • [Event] Stigma Enchantment Stone (x5)
    • [Event] Daevanion Skill Selection Box (10 Types)
    • [Event] Special Transformation Contract (62 Types) (x5)

You can choose the prize, that's a total of 64 Impressive Gift boxes, or 14 Impressive and 50 Prime.

64 Free Daevanion Skill Selection boxes? Yes please.

If that is worthless to you what do you think the prizes should be.

It's a good rewarding event that supplements usual gameplay- which is the best kind, imo. I'd rather play like normal and get some awesome goodies than full afk or spam event instances on every possible alt until my wrists give out. And the first legendary contract looks like a 1-in-3 chance of getting what you want, which is pretty sweet! Attack speed, cast speed, and hybrid- so my poor plate friends can finally have attack speed legendaries. Thank goodness <3

That made me laugh. Scientifically, evolution is neither good nor evil. If the state of the world made those people evolve into their current state, how is that "beastly" and why are they now "creatures" and not simply people? If you walk around the starter areas, you don't see the Asmodian people acting like animals. They live in houses and farm and mine and sell goods to one another. They fall in love and offer their would be girlfriends flowers. They admire beauty. They care for their children.

This attitude right here is why I always imagined that first contact after the split of the Tower of Eternity as going like this..

    • Elyos come in contact with the Asmodians.
    • Both stop and stare at one another.
    • Asmodians: OMG! Is that you, Joe?! I can't believe this! We thought you were dead! Hey, guys! It's Joe! Don't you remember? He's the guy that used to date my sist-----
    • Elyos: MONSTERS! *shrieks like a little girl* KILL ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

We can call it "animalistic" if that sounds sexier better, but there's no denying that Asmodians were represented as having those beast/animal traits (from evolution, or as gifts directly from Aion/god, depending on how into the NPC/cutscene dialogue you decide to be). I'd never think of it as evil, it's just an adaptation. O.o I mean, from the earliest cinematic trailer, the Asmo girl is crouched like a cat about to pounce, and you can see fangs, glowing/reflective eyes, claws, manes, and pointed ears throughout the video. (She even does the kitty head tilt, which I think is adorable, personally. I am going to put you in my pocket you darling little apex predator.)

    1ec2d2eb4bd0243220c05280b857c6048259a423

And of course, they don't really act like animals in their social structures or behaviour, not to the best of my knowledge? I always thought it was a fun disparity between behaviour and appearances, because Elyos in the early storyline have these beautiful villages and cities but are often downright brutish, and the Asmodians' biology and architecture/standard of living reflect the brutal environment they live in but, particularly in Pandaemonium, we see that as a people they have a lot of pride, and an appreciation for elegance and refinement.

    1. so what about alts? most people did ec on multiple alts every day do those alts get anything? or only mains? what about people that were "actioned upon" but ur 6 month of runs were still more than their abuse of entrys like people who only did 5-6 extra runs? do they get anything or 6 runs = 6 months of no instance?

It does not matter if it's an alt or your main, because it's all the same account. If you cheated, you don't get any rewards or compensation. The end.

I saw soooo many people bragging that they wouldn't be punished- just because you all weren't permabanned doesn't mean you get to keep your all of your bugged EC rewards AND get EC compensation. Like... what?

However, I do think that all players who weren't banned/suspended should receive compensation, whether they ran EC during the time mentioned or not. New/returning players have still been unable to run EC since it's been locked, and I feel like they deserve at least some kind of compensation for the six months of no EC.

So, by the way we will continue with GP box ? bad bad..

No one else has a problem with this, so please hush. The vocal minority already got us crummy stones for competition ranking instead of Luna and I'm not having that happen again. If people waste their xforms for GP mobs they'll waste their xforms for GP boxes, and if people use their xforms for critical siege moments they will continue to use their xforms for siege. There's no difference between the mobs and the boxes- except that you can't farm boxes efficiently. :P

Personally I've been having a lot of fun with three sieges every other day- it's a lot more dynamic, while also giving us a few days off! And the GP boxes are just an extra little bit of fun running around the map.

  14. @Cyan

I hope the team at NCWest is very seriously talking over plans to remove the weekly enchantment stone limit. I have more genesis crystals, fighting spirit fragments, and bobonerk gems than I can ever possibly use with the current limits in place- and they will only continue to pile up, even if I'm only getting crystals from siege. There's not much point in doing weekly Lakrum camps or genesis quests anymore because I just buy my 5 boxes on Wednesday, fail the majority of my enchantment attempts with whatever stones I get, and that's my progress for the week. Wheeee...

In Korea there are cheap (note: CHEAP) enchantment stones in the cash shop, and in EU they are open world drops. We don't have those resources in NA, so the 5 box cap is a huge hindrance to old and new players alike. There just aren't enchantment stones in the game anymore, and there's not even improved success rates to counterbalance the lack of stones. I want to have fun with all the great new content in 7.2 but my progress has come to an absolute standstill and it's kind of killing my desire to play.

(Thank god NA doesn't have guaranteed ultimate drops in pve instances like other regions, because we wouldn't be able to enchant that shit anyway :v )

  15. I was extremely apprehensive about the new siege system when I read the patch notes, but it turned out to be a lot of fun! It was hectic but I am sure we will all figure out new habits and strategies after a few more sieges. The changes to the deities' health and skills help make things more dynamic too- no more 10 minute Divine, and Demaha mobs+dux weren't so stupidly tanky. (Both the altar and fortess sieges are going to require fast mobilization with the changes made, so I am hoping more players learn to navigate, port, and regroup fast- but we'll see how that goes.) I think Aion players just hate changes sometimes, even good ones or stuff they asked for :P

We've got some changes rolling out this week. I'll post some more changes tomorrow for you all. As I have stated before, things can get pretty busy around here but a lack of comments from myself or someone else doesn't mean it isn't known or being addressed.

    ...

Please quit making these vaguely promising remarks on the forums and then following it up with posts like today's. It would have been so easy to just say changes were being made to the event. (It only lasts for 2 weeks and obviously wasn't play tested or you guys would know about the boss HP and hammer drop issues but whatever.) I know what you said yesterday wasn't a lie but it still feels like such a slap in the face when EVERYONE is eager to hear about changes and updates regarding EC, 7.2/future patches, Luna retuning, housing/guestblooms, or even skins. No one cares about this event!!! It is a lame casual event with lame casual rewards!

Like, okay fine. No EC news. You know what would tide everyone over in the meantime? Make the Luna wardrobe bigger, and add more skins to the BCM and in-game stores. More and more players are getting their endgame gear but no one wants to skin over it with one-time only costumes that we might never see again. I'm glad we got wintery skins and mounts on the BCM, and the cute animal hoodies from the event bosses- it is a good start. BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH. Step. It. Up.

  17. At this point I don't know what compensation would be worth the wait. It's been too long to get away with giving us etium, stones, and AP. There have been countless times over the past few months that I lamented how helpful even the ancient stones would be- but we have all kept going and struggled and made gear progress regardless. Like, should we be happy to get ultimate etium when we have finished purifying by now? Are we supposed to use those materials for a second set? :v

I would love to see more permanent rewards dished out, like platinum cubicles and legendary contracts.

  18. I had a little extra BC coin leftover so I went ahead and bought a Brilliant Fragment- gave me 1k frags, which I am stupidly happy about :D I've seen some really nice results from people who have invested in the Brilliant Fragments so if you have spare BC coin or spending money for Christmas, I think it's worthwhile to try your luck- just make sure you're buying the fragments not the snowballs!

let us give you money what the actual nyerk

    Right? (w-__-)w

I'm not spending $100 for an ancient transformation. Give me the flower mount and 10th anniversary skin you cowards.

  20. The skins they put up on the BCM for October/Halloween were depressingly out of touch- but at least they listed something? I guess?

I won't spend a dime on things like enchantment stones, but everyone will shell out for cosmetics: mounts, emotes, motions, and skins. The NPCs that previously sold the basic motion sets and emotes aren't in-game anymore and I hear people asking on LFG about this regularly. We also desperately need more weapon skins available. The current gear system is, and will continue to be, purifying into the new tier of equipment; even if you have a skin that can be used more than once (for example, I have been using the Corsair's Mace skin for several patches until now) it is lost forever during purification.

There are hundreds of skins and mounts that other regions have had since 4.8 that NA has yet to see, and no I don't mean the copyrighted Hello Kitty stuff that we won't ever see- so for the love of god, please stop listing the same shitty event skins on the BCM. No one wanted the Dapper Jack skins! I was throwing them away in bulk when I got them from the event, you think people are going to pay real money for that garbage? Solorius Hat? You mean the dirt cheap skin we used to be able to buy in Sanctum, the one that is so old that the hair looks like it was rendered before the graphics update?

    e0e78948d8e800ee811f630d623e8910bd50f05d

The Solorius Tree and Candle costumes are a good start! But here are some other wintery and holiday skins people want and might actually pay for:

    • Snowman Skin
    • Woolwoven Scandal
    • Retro Checkered Outfit
    • Warm Panda Padding
    • Fuzzy Feline Parka
    • Warm Daru Down
    • Harehood
    • Feline Hood
    • Slope Suit
    • Red Couple's Slope Suit
    • Sky Blue Couple's Slope Suit
    • Iridescent Couple's Slope Suit
    • Mafia Suit
    • Simple Country Coat
    • Modern Outerwear
    • Spiffy Winter Look
    • Resplendent Jolly Coat
    • Frozen Aristocracy
    • Moonlit Hanbok
    • Refined Hanbok
    • All Wrapped Up
    • Frosted Ensemble
    • Aquilon's Crystal

I am just going to hope these show up in January or in the Christmas events, because otherwise y'all at the NC offices need a good bap on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper.

Do you two do your luna instance weekly and daily?  And how many toons you do it on if you do them?

Does that really matter? Before this maintenance, I stopped doing the luna dailies so religiously on my alts because I knew I would be rewarded with luna currency for active gameplay on my main- as opposed to spending a good couple of hours completely afking on alts. Getting luna instead of stones is just a better option all around.

(And we are never ever getting Korean rewards when their game scales completely differently from NA, so I hope everyone drops the notion of 500+ stones already.)

  22. There's been a lot of speculation about what warranted a permaban- the most prevalent theories I've seen floating around are that the people who were perma'd already had 2 or 3 strikes on their account, or they were the ones doing the kicking. What I'm more interested in is what other steps are going to be taken after this because as far as I'm concerned, all of the temporary suspensions don't actually affect anything- it's like if someone robbed a bank, went to jail for 1-14 days, and then when they go home they still have all the money in their house to spend as they please. What's even worse is that EC is still locked, so it's not as though the people on their forced vacation are missing out on anything while the rest of us play catch-up.

    2 hours ago, PlumbCrazy-DN said:

The only question I have is what is the qq about compensation for those who didn't exploit.  You want rewards on top of the rewards you received when you completed your 1 or 2 EC's?

Or compensation for EC being down for 2-3 months?

I can understand for EC being down for 2-3 months, but I don't see how you justify getting double rewards for when the kickfest was going on.

I had prestige, I ran till I got 2 complete EC runs finished, ie not just go in and get kicked 2 times and say ok I'm done.  That wasn't the exploit.  If I went in for more than 2 completed EC's then thats the exploit.

For those saying they want compensation for the time the exploit was going on is absurd.  You go till you complete your one or two then you done.  If someone just went in and got kicked and said oh well I'm done, then you the special kind of village idiot like mentalflubtarddingus.

Yes, I believe the people who didn't exploit should be compensated and/or rewarded in some fashion. Like I said above, the people who exploited and are only temporarily banned will still have all of their gear, materials, and enchantment stones. Anyone who played honestly is still going to be just as far behind as they were before the banwave. Punishing abusers and rewarding the people who didn't exploit sets a precedent that cheaters will never win or come out on top. But leaving things as they are just makes everyone go "hmm, a few days off doesn't sound so bad in exchange for full gear- I guess next time I'll cheat too!" or "you know, if I could go back in time and spam EC? I would."

  23. Special thanks to everyone who pitched a fit in this thread and in support tickets ;)

800 Luna for your average 5-Star player would get you 200 fragments/40 Legendaries/8 Ultimates if you only reran ID/IB for 80 Luna each. Or, pre-fragment update you could save it to craft PVP stone boxes (1-4 Legendary stones per box). Honestly my favourite part about getting Luna as a reward was that I don't have to spend all my time afking the dailies to craft it. I was actually getting rewarded for playing the game, attending sieges, and running arenas- not zoning out and watching shows while the Luna daily ticks away. And like IJI said, I don't appreciate this change being implemented so late in the season; I was really trying hard and counting on getting my Luna rewards! -_-

Time and time again, the biggest issue is lack of communication between NC and the playerbase. Sighs all around.
