  1. Why don't you tell us the name of the quest, as someone may have already completed it.
  2. The manastone event is an adhoc attempt to compensate for the plumet in drop rates, but it doesn't work on multiple levels. Firstly, the event rewards are trivial. It takes a LOT of manastones to fill a piece of gear, let alone a set of armor, we are talking about several hundred, possibly a thousand manastones. Perhaps the GM should try it for themselves. Secondly the devs left the manastone failure chance the same, rather than adjusting it to work with the low drop rates, hence the need for hundreds of manastones. Crafting is seriously effected by drop rates and low server populations, the recipe for things like recovery potions, aether jelly, are just not dropping. People go to all the work/cost of getting their crafting up to Expert or more, and they have no designs to use with that sill level.
  3. Crafting on NZ will be seriously hampered but the lack of high level recipe drops. eg. Recover potions and serums, Aether jellies, basically most blue designs for stuff people need every day.
  4. type /escape if that doesn't work, open a support ticket and they will move you. Or just log off and it should kick you out of the instance after 10min or so.
  5. The drop rate is not broken. It's a deliberate change of the game structure. I suspect to discourage bots and kinah sellers. Something that would actually make a difference, would be to change the manastone failure result to how it is in later Aion, ie. you don't loose all your previously socketed manastones in the item, if socketing fails.
  6. Jump into it on a 45 degree angle, jumping straight on doesn't seem to work for some reason.
  7. What's worse, the Manastones from the current event, unlike normal Manstones, are marked not-tradeable which makes them mostly useless. Tell me how many templars are going to socket a Magic Boost +27 stone in their build.
  8. No you don't. I participate in fort alliances and the best reward I achieve is 5 plat shards. The AP is a better reward than the 5 shards. The daily quests from the camps pay much better.
  9. There use to be 2 daily quest each fort which gave either 1 sapphire or 5 plat medal shards per quest. Now there is only one such daily quest. The emphasis has moved to the camps around the map where you can get 5 plat medal shards daily per quest. So people can still get medals regardless of the forts.
  10. I think you might have to get your first expert up to 449 before you can attempt a 2nd. expert quest. I have never tested that, but I have seen it mentioned in this forum previously.
  11. They nerfed the daily medal quests from the forts, so sieges are not as attractive as the were before the 2.7patch.
  12. Today on Nezekan, the leaders started calling many hours earlier, than they have in the past, for people to attend the Temple of Scales siege. That worked, and we finally got enough of a turn out to take the fort for the first time. It wasn't a faction balance issue, just a participation issue.
  13. Siege balance is determined by participation rate. Just like voter turn out in an election. It's not something you can control easily. More active, and coordinated Legion leaders, can make a huge difference to siege turnout. Also if players don't think they can win, they wont bother to try.
  14. It's later on in Aion, they add some more NPCs which sell the PvP versions of the gear. Called Coliseum Champion's gear from memory.
  15. It's a problem on Nezekan, the Elyos have not taken an Inggison fort yet, the 55s either don't turn up, or they don't xform,. So Dredge gear mostly consists of either SR or Tac NCO, with near zero manastones. You can get some medals from the Growth Pass premium, but only enough to get a couple of accessories. From a healing perspective, Templars in either SR or Tac NCO gear are very hard to keep alive, their HP goes down much faster than the casting time of the big heal skills except Ripple or Flash.
  16. What you are saying is that Aion mimics real life.
  17. https://zephyr.team/aion/schedule/aion-na-classic That site has handy countdowns to sieges etc.
  18. You have to read all the stats to work our where the item sits in the scheme of things, not just the Attack.
  19. It's all relative. For example, on Nezekan stones are rare. It's pretty funny seeing an alliance turn up for a fort siege wearing mostly L44 Steel Rake gear, yet it's great fun even if we wipe on every decent AoE. Manastones would help only if there is even distribution of them, else the old gear imbalance saga, such as on Siel would start all over again.
  20. Yes it is. I have tested it many times. You too probably havent down what wast suggested in the official fix post.
  21. Then I have to assume you also haven't read the official announcement of the fix to this problem from May 18.
  22. It was fixed over a week ago. You haven't updated something. Try restarting your PC.
  23. Stigma Tuner sells Hit Mantra, at least on the Elyos side in Sanctum.
  24. Your call for a "fix" assumes the drop rates are broken, which they are not. It's a conscious decision made by the Korean developers, first applied back in February to their servers, and more recently to the other servers around the world. They don't want world drops to be significant. Get over it, and run instances or do quests instead.
  25. You can buy or sell, whatever items you can sell on the broker, in the Integrated World Exchange for Quna. I think the IWE is actually more useful than the broker, because you can access it anywhere on the map instead of having to go and find a broker in a city.
