  1. I mean he's not wrong, there's no population.
  2. Basically this. I mean come on, ncsoft screwed up right from the start of classic. I played retail from two open betas until 5.x ish... returned briefly after that and left. I literally watched this game crumble and it's not getting any better. Shutting down private servers will only drive people away from the game for good. The first and only step is ncsoft pulling their pants up and giving the players and the game the respect it deserves.
  3. Ncsoft has done that themselves I haven't played classic in probably about a month or more now. I uninstalled it. I am playing on a P.server, but it took me a while to choose to do so. With that being said, if the P.server I'm playing on shut down... I'd just move on. I have no interest in classic/retail Aion because of what it / ncosft is. Losing this P.server would not drive me back to classic, it would just push me on for good. Other people likely would follow that. Classic's population has always been abysmal, the only time it wasn't was around launch. People can still cruise the forums, they can still "be interested", but it in no way is a "commitment". Many of us grew up on this MMO, many of us also just want to watch for confirmation that the game is crap, which we get. These forums are as dead as classic. People leaving classic isn't just because there are P.servers around, it's because ncsoft is crap. I'd just move on to RDO/OW/Star Citizen/FF14/ESO.... like many other people would do. Classic killed classic. Not anything else.
  4. I reinstalled to give 2.0 a try. I've uninstalled again. Even nostalgia can't save this.
  5. Did some revamping, also provided second photo that shows the hidden bar. The skill book is just where PB is going to go:
  6. All I mean is at this point we should be happy there’s activity at all. It’s really not that big of a deal. Disclaimer, I don’t know the guy and I don’t roll with that group.
  7. You misunderstood. The skill slot is just hidden. It’s still there and still bound, I just don’t need to see it because it shares a CD with serums, so I can tell when potions are off CD.
  8. Well at least the title was right
  9. Well, I know the first one is in BT, I think, but I can't get there yet lol
  10. Good chunk of my skills are bound to my naga trinity. Shield skills are bound but hidden to keep the bar clean since they pop up on proc. Potions (not serums) are hidden since they share the same cd as serums. Weapon binds are hidden since I know them. Dazing is bound to my mouse, I don't actually use 1. I just like it in that slot, and I have it bound to be easier to jump shot the chain.
  11. You and I both know a majority of the community does not like flight pvp. Almost everyone is asking for 2.0/ground pvp. The statement is false, but the inferral is very accurate.
  12. Would you honestly be surprised though? Aion has always followed this trend, most things people work hard to get often get provided for cheaper/free later on.
  13. And I'm happy for you guys, but the majority of the population is gone, and the game really is lacklustre, and riddled with issues. I love Aion as much as the next guy, my whole core legion did, but at the end of the day you can't deny that classic simply didn't serve. Too little, too late, and too many community issues (exploiting, hacks, poor economy although that was injected by ncsoft). It's sad but it's the truth. I say kudos to those still enjoying it, and by all means enjoy it, but I am pretty sure the majority of the players feel relatively the same as OP... I was extremely excited to come back, but maybe my hopes were too high.
  14. The main reason most people quit is because ncsoft sucks in general. They react too little, too slowly. The subscription price is an aside from that. Even if the game was $1.00 people would still have quit.
  15. @Kibbelz When the merge happens, will you be releasing inactive character names from players who have not logged or played in months? IE: will I be able to purchase a name change ticket to secure a name that someone sniped from me, who hasn't logged in in say, 3 months? They do this on retail, as I'm sure you know.
  16. Things now are much different than they were back then; the population and lack of bots do not make this a good idea; adjustments should be made. I agree it should be an achievement, but you're failing entirely to differentiate between now and then.
