  1. Another player pointed this out and mentioned that you have to be Master in a craft before getting the Heliotrop design. However Balaur mat drop rates are horrid no matter where you farm in open world content. You are lucking if you spend 40-80 minutes grinding in the new zones for maybe 1 Balaur Heart.
  2. My Chanter is in full 40e that took roughly 6 months to get due to work schedule and availability to be online and that's the only PvP set that she has. There are alternatives to making AP it all depends on the individual. Currently the Forts (Gelk and Ing) reward AP and Sapphire Medal reward dailies then there is the Crusader token daily that revolves around PvPing in either Gelk, SC, or Ingg. Those Crusader tokens can be traded in, 4 at a time, for a Crown Bag which has a chance from a Lesser to a Major Crown variety and has a possibility of being in multiples of 1-3 when opened. Also if you complete the 3 weekly Daemon quests you can trade those 6 Daemon tokens to the Shugo in SC for 6 Crusader tokens. The outposts in the Upper Abyss do offer a repeatable quest to kill 10 guards from the opposing factions Fort. Doing the C.Dredge repeatable quests 1-3x daily rewards AP. Doing and winning a Tiak rewards AP even if you should lose you do get some AP as compensation. If your faction owns an Abyss fort doing the Quest rewards over 1k AP when turned in. On Average by doing a few of things mentioned a casual player can make 25k+ AP per week. Asking NcSoft to restrict people that already acquired a PvP set or two is stupid. The Daeva Pass is optional and not a requirement along with the Event Pass where you can trade those tokens for a Crown Box. If you are from EU then I can understand your frustration on missing out on live Fort sieges and Tiak. If you demand a free handout because you play alone and expect compensation then I can tell you that it's not going to happen and you are playing the game wrong. Build a static of close friends or Legion members, help each other by either spliting Fort instance AP between your group, run Dredgion together, run Tiak together, work together to do your PvP daily to start working on your stash of Crusader tokens. As for the players that are selling accounts they have been building those geared accounts since Launch of Aion Classic and have their own tight nit groups to funnel AP. People buy those accounts because they don't want to put forth alot of effort on a fresh character. Some just want instant satisfaction than building/learning a Class. That's their prerogative. As for me I play my main at a steady pace with friends that I've been playing with since Retail 1.x-4.3
  3. A quick queue group entry should never be expected to particpate. If you wish for full participation I suggest putting together your own premade. There is no sugar coating this and I am not trying to be unreasonable or mean with the the reply. Both sides want to win and both sides are getting tired of running into the same overgeared sweaty groups when they queue up during B. Dredge.
  4. Divine has been an issue of discussion for the past several weeks along with other issues like the ingame faction economy, pvp participation in timed events (Dredgion/Tiak), fort raid from offense and defense, and among other topics. In reality due to the Balaur Deity's HP neither faction can cap the fort. I am proposing and listed a poll asking the remaining playerbase if they would be interested in a joint coalition in working together to cap Divine. Yes Asmodians and Elyos working together to cap the fort then rotating the fort each weekend for the other faction to cap. I know a bit blasphemous to even utter a proposition in an open world MMO that hosts PvPvE. Just curious if the thought has ever occured amongst other players. Why this proposal? Neither Faction can recieve defensive rewards when defending a fort. It's overal better to allow the other faction to cap the fort and rotate during the next vulnerability. However a Balaur Deity hits harder/stronger compared to a Stallari/Dux. The HP values alone are not the same. Even after a 2.0 update and things being scaled down to a reasonable perspective it's still one of the hardest forts to cap at Lv55. This can work if BG's of select Legions agree and help contribute effort, compliance, and restraint and ask their fellow Legion Members to follow suit. Means a stand still with nuking/zerging PvP (Divine Only) while on the Doors and Deity. Downside... Not everyone will be willing to do this and would rather pvp w/o any restrictions being placed on them during this fort's vulnerability time frame.
  5. I'm sorry that you feel that way about the current state of Aion Classic. However I would like the game to not advance past 2.0 and just remain in that state. For the simple reason for the ground pvp of fighting over Gelk/Ing. Forts compared to Flight PvP in the Abyss. It's just more enjoyable and simple imo. To be honest I wished we had several of these events/features when Retail began all those years ago; I would of most likely stayed longer in the game before venturing off into other MMO's. Eg) Double XP/AP weekends. But like with all MMO's it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. There will always be something off putting in some way or form that negates the experience as a whole for that player. Either it be changes and impliments like the Daeva Pass, players purposely AP traded to get ahead of their fellow players, hacking/cheating on purpose, or even the Faction Server Clown boasting of buying geared accounts for over $1200+ and trying to bash other players that actually worked on their gear or in the process of getting their gear. All in all it comes down to picking your poison and knowing what you will be getting into once you play the game.
  6. I agree with this whole heartedly for the simple fact a lot of people are on EU times on both factions. When it comes to content of Dredgion, Fort vulnerabilites, and Tiak there is a lack of availble players to queue or able to participate when it's 4 in the morning for them.
