  1. That sort of thing has been going on for a long time. I remember in 5.8 more than once I did QE Dredge and two times against a premade I was with the same cleric and chanter, they were ely alts. How do I know? Because they were smart enough to put in their notes with cute little hearts their affection for the Ely Glad in the premade. Pretty much took care of those runs no heals no go and I couldn't get any quests done. Same always happened with IWW. Dirty players dirty game.

  2. The Casino I work for sends out a Semi Annual form in the mail to anyone that spent money in the Casino, Hotel or restaurants. They ask what they liked or didn't like about their stay and what they can do to improve. Recently they were voted in the top 10 nationally for customer satisfaction and service by USA Today. Within the corporation they were voted number 1. needless to say I am proud to have been a part of that. What say you Ncwest? Where do you rank. I know it is a different business but all the same all customers count that's what makes you the best and brings the people back.

  3. They lost what remained of any PVE players with 6.x or maybe sooner. Whether you liked them or not they contributed to the game. I left in December, after what i considered an inventory looting, and for me nothing to do. In5.x I would roll dredge, OW, KB and IWW. It was things to do, and had enough time to do them with more than one character even if it was only for 3-4 days per week. Had upper abyss forts instead of just one. Couldn't get any of the new gear past +5 and I guess it was just time to say goodbye to Aion retail. I can't be on all day everyday so possibly some other semi casual players left also. The fact that the player base is completely ignored is ridiculous and bad business practice. For me personally I will never touch anything from NC again including GW2. If you want to be the big business winner you can't only take care of the big spenders you have to pay attention to the little guys too. They spend maybe not as much but they do spend, and if you crap down their neck enough times they leave and never look back. Why do I still watch forums? I have no idea, nostalgia I guess or small hope they would attempt to bandage the bleeding. Nine years was fun.

  4. Having worked for a Casino for the past several years I find it interesting what people will spend money on and what they consider fun. Some will sit at the same machine for hours on a style that I personally would not like, or others come to play poker, Blackjack, craps or roulette. None of that interests me either ( well maybe occasionally some black jack). It is however what they want to do and what they enjoy spending their money on so more power to them. Everyone is different in their own special ways. So if you enjoy playing Aion for whatever reason it interests you then by all means have at it and give it hell. Along the way drop some coin on the game or possibly you will not be playing it very long. However, you will not get Ncsoft to serve you free drinks from the lovely waitresses. ( this message was not endorsed by Nc anyone) :D

  5. Well, the one thing I can agree with is Aethertech. Did honestly try it, other than looking like a updated version of Robbie the Robot from Lost in Space tv series (yes I am that old), the constant bouncing drove me nuts and made my neck hurt.

  6. No surprise here really, predictions before launch was it would fail. To my understanding steam refunded 7,000 plus players the day after it launched. Seems Bless has failed in every region they went to.

  7. Long time ago before Aion. I played Runes of magic for awhile. A German game. Adolf Hitler was not allowed couldn't even type it in chat, was an auto block.  Was some others also like Himmler. Back in the day have seen GM's get online and change a players supposed bad word name to something like "Fluffyrainbow", was fun watching them rage in lfg.

  8. Just to give you a comparison, in BDO I purchased a costume set. When I opened and used it the main weapon did not look anything like what was advertised. Contacted support and they gave me the pearls refund and I got to keep the skins. In GW2 (same company I guess), had to obtain an item in a chest inside a cave as part of the class upgrade for Mesmer. Opened the chests and nothing was in them. This particular cave was a Beetch with tons of mobs. Contacted support, he said I needed to open all 3 chests. I replied that I had opened all three in both rooms. He replied after checking that I did open the chests and he sent me the item. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"....."even if he is wrong"....XD

  9. I do have time to endlessly grind, semi retired working 2 days per week. I stayed loyal for the most part to this game until 6.x. There was always something for me to do, as boring as some may think, it was different things for me. Crafting, trying to solo instances running dual client. Started the day with OW, Dredge, then kamar all of which I loved to run. Abyss forts, lowers back in the day and upper forts near the end. Didn't afk forts I enjoyed them. All that taken away and crammed onto basically one small map with nothing to do after the first day and one Fort?....or is there more not sure. Miss Gelk forts. At one time I was running 4 accounts all with prestige and would make new characters just for the sake of....well because I enjoyed leveling them. Guess I am different maybe that's why i still use a flip phone and play PS2 games... on my pc....because its different. Getting too old I guess. Have a great day gonna go raise my cooking craft.

  10. I think there is still a huge market for PC, a lot people are starving for one. Bless had a huge turn out, however failed miserably as predicted. GW2 seems to be getting a little stale even though it still has a fair population as does BDO. Problem with Aion 2 or any other from NcSoft is, it will be handled here by NcWest and you will be lucky to get 50% of the content or support Korea would get. Just have to look at the track record here. Inept Dev team (if there actually is one) and a marketing team/person that doesn't have a clue what the player base would want and purchase. If it wasn't for Cyan there would be literally no communication whatsoever. I am not nor will I ever be a mobile game player so if the market dries up guess I am done with online gaming.

  11. You expected them to fix some issues, Finally, and not include a way to increase profit? Not saying I can agree with them, however money is what keeps the game running. What fun would pvp be if everyone was equally geared.  Ah the days when 50E was tops and everyone could have same running, attack and cast speed. Except the Vanilla tool players of course.

  12. This game is already dead, for me anyway. 6.0 was the death toll. 9 years I played Aion and put a lot of money into it, never before have I seen a company self destruct a game the way Ncwest/Soft has done. It started before 6.0 the slow dismantling, but 6.0 wrecked it entirely for me. I don't think I have ever seen a company treat its paying customers this way either, guess I am too old school for this. Props to those still remaining you deserve better treatment than what you are getting now.

What I have learned from this is anything with NcSoft on it is taboo. Will never spend another dime with this company. Including GW2, only a matter of time before they wreck that one too. Funny when I get around playing other games and join guilds, bringing up Nc and the responses I get. They thoroughly have trashed their own name and reputation.

  13. I have not logged in since December, but had to just to see what was on the Gold shop.....nothing except a over priced skill range box. A lot of your remaining player base put lots of time, money and effort into getting rank(  ok ok maybe not all). Give them something useful and reasonably priced for heck sakes. Really do not think you are in the position to tick off anymore of the remaining player base. Whenever some one asked me what class does the most damage, I reply the "DEV" class. True in most games I have found.

  14. I remember back in 5.8, was on my level 73 ranger and active when a General commented "kick everyone 73 and under they are either afk or a spy". I was booted seconds later, was a well known General who i know has played since launch. Not all the blame can be pinned on Ncwest for this, the player base itself has helped a lot in the decline of the game.
