  1. the game rewards the sets, everyone can get benefits from different setups, its not a yes or yes needed to play to have different sets but ofc u can increase certain dmg, def or precition according to the prefferences, i personally made an Mag accu set for my templar xD, i hate when i fail a stun so i wanna have a chance vs mr users, i have accuracy set cuz im tired of ranges and their evation setups, and i have my dmg gear with a lot of crit, but some other ppl have block set, mr set, eva set, mag boost set (even phy classes like sin, templar, exe to add dmg to specific skills), parry set, etc. So i wouldnt say templar is a expensive class, i'd say pvp is an expensive business.
  2. AB is not good for our server, it seems it was thought for multi server, in that case it would be way more populated, but in na is an empty map used for some mins by groups and then bye bye, also it blocks you from the recruits in the normal areas, as dungeons are in a different zone, but for an old geared player, only AB matters, so it feels like there is no content, empy maps, no more pvp at inggi, gelk, AB is really quick but it takes long if you want to do the 7 kills, not necesarily becouse its hard to kill players, but becouse its really hard to find players xD, imagine u can only find 1 group for a long time, and that group is really strong, that blocks a lot of players of doing the quest and it also blocks the token quest, lately i dont bother with the pvp, i get 2 - 3 kills a day if lucky when i go there solo. but well, sadly i think this is not gonna change anything xD, the server will just copy kr, keep the same way, we got that useless server nezekan anyway O.O. I hope next patch comes soon and changes the game for good for our zone, rigth now, its really boring.
  3. Hell, honestly, i expected something to at least motivate the pve, cuz pvp is so nyerked xDDD. This days i even started to think, hell, maybe i need to make a cleric so i can be a tank, a healer or a dps if needed, and guess what, now i actually think game should offer an IA cleric for all the groups so recruits dont take average 1 hour to form to run anything with LFG. please for real, make something to get players reasons to play, it feels so empty, really sad.
  4. hi hi, im so late in this but im still gonna post some info :P. First of all, you only need campaign quests to lvl up, there is a kind of block while leveling becouse u cant do the quests while u are 22-23 and sometimes there is no more to do, in that case, there are in elnen and morheim, some blue quests, those are easy quests to reach lvl 25, and then continue with campaigns. Stop at lvl 44 and go to steel rake, don even think on FT or krom trial, those are totally useless now, but steel rake is actually great, go there and kill only what is on ur way, advance asap, you dont need sr for lvl, you need it for gears, so make sure u do all the quests rewarding you with gears and keep going campaigns until lvl 51. Once you can run Taloc, go there and skip all mobs, head only for bosses, and multy run that to get accesories and lvl, keep on it unti you reach lvl 58, i have an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=callzCO_FxQ&t=12s Make sure you unlock tempus which is going to be your weapon source, after 7 rank S runs, you can get tahabata's weapon selection box, which is amazing. tempus example video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G31Xjf32qUA Paralelly, do your weeklies, camps and forts in inggison and gelkmaros, there is a permanent rift in gelk and inggi main fortresses to go to the oposite map, those weeklies pay platinum medals and red tokens to get lvl 55 fabled gear cheaper. Also, go dailie to dredgion, tiak, and apheta beluslan dailies (for the new medal). About the medals, you can transform new medal (black gold) into platinum, and platinum (eternal gear and accs med) into sapphire (fabled gear and accs med), and thre is a morph method to transform 3 sapphire medals into 2 sapphire medal tradeable (it becomes a tradeable box), thats how u can make extra kinah, or just gear up using alts help. A last tip for the pvp, go to reshanta or centain places at ingi - gelk, and talk to the npc which recruits you for daily work, fortuners, crusaders, i dont remember the name xD, ask for it to the faction mates, thats a way to get tokens that help with ap or even godstones, remember this last one can also be gotten through pvp quests that you can take in reshanta, and its about killing all ranks oposite faction players. About pve, there are 3 popular gears to farm, Beshmundir, Padmarashka, Veile/Mastarius. Beshmundir: is the BTHM or beshmundir temple hard mode gear, low drop rate but kinda easy content depending on the team you have. Padmarasha: you can get gear and weapon here, but its kinda restricted to 1 entry per day, this is probably the most recomended weapon you can get at the moment but the drop rate is really low, also, the gear is almost impossible to farm or complete unless there is an event, this place requires high dps to have a smoth experience, otherwise, you could be there for a long time, and btw, its a 6 man dungeon now. Veile/Mastarius: every friday, one week in gelk and the next one at inggi, there is a kind of pvpve war between those guardians Veile and Mastarius, by participating there, you have the chance to get extendable weapons from the boss and the belt or shash with pve + dmg stat, but, if you dont kill the guardian, there is still reward based on your contribution, if you dont kill the boss, i think you will get evaluated by the ap you could get inside the contribution area and according to it, you will get a mail, it can give you eternal armor or weapon, which is tradeable through a system called integrated world trade. Thats last is probably the hardest way to gear up, so i'd say, go bt to then get access to the latest content. Aditionally, there is a dungeon called Telos of the forgoten, it kinda replaces Upper abbyss ap dungeons, the old barracks, but not just that, Telos drops also unique stigmas for lvl 55 and some of them are really expensive, the place is easy so dont be afraid to apply to the teams you see in LFG. Once u have finished homework and u get a decent gear, you can try the latest and hardest dungeons, Telos of the dragon lord (tiamat dungeon, dont remember exactly the name) and Phaistos Disk, those have long and hard mechanics so make sure to go prepared when u decide to try, recomended to get a static team for it. Tiamat drops lvl 55 unique stigma (different from telos of the forgoten one) while phaistos drops skillbook for glide, which is totally necesary as it enables a system for a new skill (also skillbook). thats just a summary but thats what you need to focus on and what you need to know to be kinda updated with the game, maybe im missing a couple of things but anything u need just ask players, most of the ppl in the server is really helpful, there is toxic ppl also but i think they are not too many fortunately :P. About the money, Apheta beluslan pays kinah in all the daily quests, and there is a shugo system where you buy items with a different currency (which u get by doing apheta dailies) and then you can exchange those items in specific bases (which the items you buy to the shugo, define) for money or other items. I hope it helps, have fun
  5. hey, this felt like a weird end of year for aion, there have been so op events but, to be honest, maybe the game's population is different in terms of age than it was in the past, and in my case, it is good to have a relaxed end of the year, in the other hand, there are still bugs and issues that should have been corrected already and there is where i would like to see progress at least, basic things like the ost being played in all the content, or the annoying game not closing completely blocking the launcher, should be fixed already, so please, show more love acting on the issues. By the way, lockboxes is being horrible, even after the update that was suposed to change the items you can get. thanks.
  6. lvl 55 characters with +15 gear and abg accs get over 360 atrike resist, it seems like some wings can also increase strike resist and there could be tittles too, that would take it over 380 or even closer to 400, i havent made a serious check to look for everything you can use to increase it, but yeah, my crit is around 900 to assure always my 50 % crit rate. https://aion.aspirine.su/#!vlkfY42 chec the character details there
  7. i have almost everything on white manastones xD, its hard to get the best of it but i can reach near 900 crit, almost 800 att, and over 2300 accu with the white manastones, so im ok for now, slowly im farming the manastones but you need like 60 per piece if you want to have a chance, and i still dont have eternal pvp gears so its gonna be darker xD, but its still playable and enjoyable, the limitation is there so what u cant do with gear, has to be fixed with the pilot skill, but for that, you need practice, experience, duels, arenas, that helps
  8. hi hi. the most important stats for pve in aion, for physical, accuracy and crit, for magical magical accuracy and magic boost, now if we talk about the minimun we would have something like this: Physical, at least 2200 accuracy, at least 500 crit, those stats by yourself, are going to be good, that means you can get there using food and scrolls, now in a more advanced moment, after you get the gears, you should probably be over 2300 accuracy and over 600 crit but aditionally you will be able to add a lot of attack power, and also as physical class, you should use power shards, i normally use the greater, blue ones, becouse the others are too expensive and money is almost luxury at the moment. Magical, at least 1500 magic accuracy and if possible, 2700 magic boost with chanter mantras and buffs, also food and scrolls, in the case of sorc, if at the time you get gears you can also increase magic crit, its gonna be a nice boost, in my case, ive been getting udas and lower udas temple accesories, rings, earrings and necklace give crit spell, when you are geared as cloth, for pve, you could socket extra hp and you would be a bit more tanky, which eventually in case of emergency, could save you, also some sorc for example, replaces the robe of flame to get extra magic boost for a different buff to get extra elemental defense, still assuring 2700 magic boost thanks to chanter. about BT bosses there are tricks, for example, if you tank Captain Lakhara standing, at a really specific distance (as i normally say, keep one of your character foot slighly inside the red circle of target around the boss), that will cause that the boss cant pull you, you will get the damage but not the pull effect and thanks to that you will be able to move aside and avoid all those 3 spins he does, giving healers time to keep you hp up and avoiding the debuff he gives on those, then you can move back into the fight right when he is doing the animation of the third spin. Manadar, your teammates can time aoe damage to destroy the traps, that will make the fight easier and faster as everyone will be able to stay close to the boss and dps all out. Isbarilla 50 %, use aether armor (this can resist a lot of damage from the orbs) and your hp buffs to survive the light orbs, also move if you see the orbs are chasing you. Isbarilla 25 %, move at least 8 metters away to avoid fear or use extendable to fight relaxed at 6 - 7 metters distance all the time, you wont get feared, also if you cant do any those, tank the boss facing the wall, if you get fear, you wont be able to advance far away and you will be able to get the dispell. Stormwing, use hp self hp increase buffs after 50 %, and use group hp increase buffs at enrage, around 30 - 25 %, also, at that last phase, you can use aether armor, after that you can use iron skin, and keep always a jelly ready to get dp, you could use 2 k shield and in case of emergency, recover 100 % hp, sometimes after 50 % you get really high dmg becouse there are random hits from lightning skills, so be prepared to take your hp up with potions, ap potions or dp if necesary, not all the deads are cleric's fault. If you want to play safe there, dissable auto aproach, you can get 1 shotted by twisters that spawn after certain skills. about the gears required to tank bt, my first time there was with my old templar Catnoir, i used to tank using my dark poeta set socketed with critical but my healers were excelent, gladys can also tank that but when healers are excelent, to make it safer, use support stigmas, at least tac gear, a couple of pieces socketed with hp, and first of all, get a tahabata greasword, you will hardly ever need to use shield, becouse shields are only good when you can guarantee you will block a skill, thats only possible with skills like cry of ridicule and shield of fate, 2 k dp if you are elyos, only in those moments is good to use shield, so as templar, assure your accuracy first, get the taha sword, mace and shield you can get anything to start, learn the tricks, learn the mechanics, and thats it. i will share a couple of vids about bt as tank: this was long ago, anuhar lvl 50 dark poeta gear i think This one is a tactic to increase agro, switching to sword shield to taunt and dps with gs and this is a more updated video full run on elyos templar, full bt i hope it helps :P, have fun
  9. good day. The event "every day with aion", that's a generous event, but i am wondering if it's actually possible to reduce the online time or switch the reward order, something like this: 1 hours online, [Event] Fine Recovery Potion and [Event] Stigma Shard. 3 hours online, [Event] Break Manastone Selection Box. To be honest, 5 hours is a lot of time, specially if it keeps you bound to a character, i hope you can do something about that and the event gets adjusted, thanks for your understanding.
  10. hey, to be honest the game is not fair for the 1v1, its a game focused on team fights mostly, as templar you are normally strong vs leather classes, but when the pvp gear is there, at least a high pvp attack, you will feel great damage when u use the damage buffs, that together with a greatsowrd and all the pvp attack is a big ammount of damage, in my case, im a templar who likes stunlocking, which means, i try to connect my skills in a row in a way that the enemy cant react, something like this, get the remove shock out of the equation, then stun, pull, stun, knock down, stun, knock down, finish with some high dmg. For that you need to take into an account some rules, you cant pull an enemy on aether's hold, cant pull knocked down enemies, cant pull knocked back enemies, you can extend stun with other skill, for example, you can use the ranged stun, and put another stun over it with the shield, that would be about 4 secs stun if u time the skills well, after a pull, you cant knock down, knock back or aether's hold an enemy, but you can stun, after a knock down or knock back, you cant aether's hold an enemy, but you can stun. Besides that, make sure you get a high critical hit on the character, becouse if you have it high, lets say 850 using scrolls and food, that is a big chance of crit on enemies, and when you crit often while using a 2 handed weapon, things can happen :P, as templar, you can knock down with any skill or even auto attack with certain chance when landing crit hits. in the other hand, when you play mace shield, or sword shield, as you preffer, if you want to stun enemies, you need some magical accuracy, templar has a buff, advanced stigma, which increases 200 ma and 50 % attack power, that can help with the stuns, using mace is also a good idea there, as it has really helpful magic accu, and the magic boost can increase the damage on some of the templar skills which are completely magical, both ranged. before you use a pull, make sure you check the enemy is not using anti-shock scroll or similar shield buffs, or it wont work. but the most important thing in pvp is, know your enemy, you will have to get experience to fight each class, becouse they all have a bounch of defensive buffs and damage skills that you need to know to make up a strategy.
  11. hi hi. i just finished the 7th Lower Udas Temple this week, 3 of them didn't drop a key and the others only dropped 1 key, i rushed one run becouse i had a key from last week, but to be honest, thats extremely disencouraging, for now that has been the only decent content i've found to make some money to advance in the game, and i guess the "Item Farming Difficulty Adjustment" lowered the drop for Lower Udas Temple, please check it out and fix it, bring it back to what it was like. Thanks.
