  1. Considering that 7.0 adds in a new Class (after nearly 4 years). I would like to request that you please increase the current Character Slots to 11 from 8 (and then to 12 during 7.0), because i (and many like me) don't want to make 2 accounts just to be able to play all the Classes in the game. And why does NA have restriction on Character Slots, when other Regions don't (atleast EU has increased the character slots to 11 when 6.2 launched)? Also, i would like you to add in PvP Enchantment Stone in Luna Design, just like other regions have. Reason being that many like me can't take part during Siege or other PvP activities because of Time-Zone issues, and also the fact that the increased flux of exchanged PvP gears during the transition between 5.8 to 6.2 had made it hard for weaker geared old and new players and turned them into fodders for Legendary or Ultimate exchanged gears (not to mention, because most of those exchanged gears players can easily take part in PvP activities, they are also getting their upgraded Genesis Crystal gears faster than others). So, by adding an extra source of PvP Enchantment Stone in Luna Designs (like in other regions), would help a lot of players out, especially those who can't take part in PvP activities because of Time-Zone issues.
  2. If its Dnerved-KT's comment, then he is comparing Crafted Gears "Ultimate Masterwork Conqueror's" set with the Exchange Gears "Ultimate Winged Champion" set. But in truth, the Exchange Gears actually have better stats compared to Crafted Gears (though the stat is only different by a minor margin). The only differences that the Crafted gear have is the increase in Atk Speed/Casting Speed and Speed, which is higher than the Exchange Gears, and that the Exchange gears (specifically the armors) are more general oriented, while the Crafted Gears are slightly more Offensive Oriented (specifically the armors), something which can be easily fixed with Manastones. While the Exchange Gears have higher PvP bonus stats. Examples (remember to change the region, with the "Flag" icons) Gear Comparison between "Ultimate Masterwork Conqueror's Greatsword" and "Ultimate Winged Champion Greatsword" Gear Comparison between "Ultimate Masterwork Conqueror's Breastplate" and "Ultimate Winged Champion Breastplate" Gear Comparison between "Ultimate Masterwork Conqueror's Sabatons" and "Ultimate Winged Champion Sabatons" So, i believe that the Exchange Gears in general are actually 'slightly' powerful than the Crafted Gears, main reason being that Exchange Gears have 'higher base' PvP bonus stats compared to Crafted Gears.
  3. SnowBalls event statistics from me so far

    Got and opened around 115 Snowballs, and the result was only 'one' +10. As for the rest, got around 16-18 Bundle's from failures at +7, +8 and +9 (4-5 "+9" bundles out of the), and the +9 bundles only gave me "Transparent Transformation Scroll". Guess would sell away the only +10 one after a few months.

    There is talk about the Aethertech class being changed to Magic Plate in 7.0. And for those who don't know yet, new Class is Physical Cloth.

    Its an area were u can flying, so its possible for combat as well, if the opponent show up. And it seems like it is close to the new region's Fort, so maybe a siege like we used to have during 4.X (in South Katalam, don't know its NA name).

    Incidentally, its that part which made me play the game (AION is my first MMORPG as well, mainly because of that ad). Didn't really care about her flying off.

    What about the fix for some of the "[Event] Tempering Solution" which can't be exchanged for "Enchantment Stone Bundles" yet? Also, can you please bring back the "PvP Enchantment Stone" designs on Luna. I (and some like me) can't upgrade my gears without it as can't take part in any PvP instance or Siege (different Time-Zone).

    "Sprint Movement" on your Mount isn't that much needed as well, since with the speed everyone else is at, if you are on a Mount, chance is you can easily escape majority of times from PvP (but if not already on Mount, then it would be hard to get on it in, so making "Sprint Movement" useless then). Plus 4-8 sec of "Sprint Movement" should be enough to make a get away. Also, i generally move around using the Teleports or by Running (since much easier to move around that way, and the map isn't that big to use Mount regularly).

    From what i know, "Weapon Damage" is the power behind your "Auto-Attack" only. While "Physical Attack" only applies to your Skills (and doesn't apply on your "Auto-Attack"). So, the higher the "Physical Attack", the better damage gets when you use your skill. As for "absence of speed", while its a problem, but as you get better gears it gets fixed (for PvE, starting from CoE gears; and for PvP starting from Legendary Crafted or Legendary Upgraded "Genesis Crystal" gears). As for 'flight time', well you don't really need to fly around that much in this new patch to begin with, so its also manageable.

    Currently, the older gears are only useful for the "Atk Speed" and "Speed" stat, but you would have to sacrifice some damage and defense to get those, which while can be manageable for defensive classes, but could present problem for other classes. Truthfully, never in my life time of playing this game, have i been able to last so long during PvP. In the earlier patches, i used to get one-shot by almost any class even when i am a Templar (a class which is specifically designed to be defensive and tanky). But in this new patch, with just Ancient "Genesis Crystal" PvP gears, i can easily tank 2-3 players for quite a while (compared to before) and possibly even more players if i have good Cleric support. To me, only those players would be unhappy about this new patch, are those who used to go around solo and enjoy one-shot killing weaker geared players, because with the current patch, its really hard to one-shot anyone (unless its a Ultimate "Genesis Crystal" PvP gear VS Ancient "Genesis Crystal" PvP gear match-up, which would take quite a while to happen). It applies same on those who are sore about not being able to spam their "Godstones" anymore. You do know that the "damage formula" for the new 6.2 gears apply differently compared to older gears, right? So, even if the raw stats seem lower, the damage to mobs (or opposing players in PvP) is actually much higher than when you use older gears (tried it already, and can confirm). Do we really need much flight time in this new patch? I mean how much can you fly around in the current areas? And for gliding, 1 min is mostly enough in majority of cases (unless you accidentally jumped from a high place and stayed airborne for too long). This i can agree on, atleast for the 'Genesis Crystal' Ancient PvP gears.

    Posting it here for the 6.2 UI issues, On new gears, two stats are named as "Magic Resistance", one which should actually be "Magic Defense". Similarly, in the Defense Stat section on "Profile", two stat names are mentioned as "Magic Defense", when actually one of them should be "Magic Resistance".
  17. NO Campaign Quest

    Posting it here, because didn't want to open a new thread. A lot of Lakrum Quests (especially Campaign Quests), have no marks to find where to go next, like "Where You Atis?" and "Block the Balaur". In both those quest, the "Asmodian's Main Route" and "Balaur's Main Route" aren't marked out on map, so people are lost on what to do next and had to ask around in LFG (i knew what to do because i already did the quest in EU).

  20. Can't Finish Downloading the Update 6.2

    Finally managed to finish the download after hours of trying (had to delete many patch files multiple times and re-download them to make it work). Please close this thread if not needed.
  21. This has become a recurring problem for me with every big patch on NA AION; always getting stuck near the end of finishing the download. I am currently at 96% of download (been at that since yesterday), and stuck to finish download at the last 100 MB. The File which seems to be creating the problem are either "data.pak.dlt.zip" (under patch folder - '207/L10N/enu/data') or "data.pak.z05" (under patch folder - 'Zip/L10N/enu/data'). Can anyone help me with this.

  24. From what i understood, your 30 million Kinah would be removed and you would get 1 Gold Ingot in its place, and for each Gold Ingot you get in exchange you would get 12 million Kinah. So, as example, for each 120 Million Kinah removed, you would end up getting back 4 Gold Ingot & 48 Million Kinah. That is a much better exchange i would say compared to what EU had, since this would allow even players with low Kinah balance (low as in less that 1 Billion), to have some sizeable Kinah balance left after the update. On EU, they exchanged 8.7 Million Kinah for 1 Gold Ingot (max Gold Ingot exchange possible was 5,400), and you get no return Kinah balance (only a Redeem Code was given which sent to the account related e-mail id, which could be only used once on one account and you could get 10 Million Kinah from it on one char only). The exchange in EU caused a lot of people (would say 90% plus player population) to end up with less than 100 Million Kinah balance (except those P2W players who purchased a lot of stuff from SHOP to sell in-game, and had a balance of over 50 Billion Kinah). It takes about less than 1 hour to reach from lvl 72 to lvl 80 in 6.2 (and its possible to go from lvl 1 to lvl 80 within 5-6 hrs of game-play). So, leveling up won't be a problem. And the basic gear you get is from the Campaign Quests you do from lvl 75 onward (you get both PvE and PvP starter gears that way, full set mind that, from Weapons to Bracelets). In order to get the Compensation gears, you have to in-general Enchant all your gears to +20 and above (the full exchange list should be in one of the threads here, so not gonna bother). If you can't do that, then either better try to sell of those gears on Broker, or sell them to NPC (if possible), because from my experience on EU, post update all those gears would only be usable for Skin only (and sold for 1 Kinah for most gears, except a few type i think).

    But the thing is, its causing a lot of issues, with the slow rate of Kinah farming. On most servers, Gold Pack prices are around 35-50 million now, while the average weekly kinah earned while farming is around 2-3 million for an average player (considering the fact that he sells everything he farms without spending a single kinah on Enchantment, breaking gears for Manastone slot stones and scrolls, etc). That bug/issue atleast provided the way for players to earn around 10 million weekly, but that got removed (on average a 4 weekly solo Mirash run let you earn around 600k-1kk depending on drops, but with that issue the same runs gave around 3kk). Considering that 6.0/6.2 update is more Kinah drainer than before, the rate at which we can earn Kinah is really low (by the way, i have a Gold Pack active on EU, and i am just telling what i noticed).
