Launch issues since Dec 1 maintenance

after maintenance this morning it took about 8 tries to get game to launch. It would show initial graphics then gone. 5 sec later launcher would pop up with Start game. Now it is endless and will not launch. I have sent in a ticket. I also noticed Game guard in task manager. There was at least 15 processes of Game guard. I assume from each time i tried to launch the game.
