Siege Technical Issue Information/Update

Recommended Posts

  • Aion Team

Hi everyone - we'd like to share an update about the ongoing technical issues with Siege. We have done our best to make a few attempts to fix these issues, and while there was some progress, we're expecting this to take a few more weeks with consideration of the upcoming holiday and wanted to make sure we provide full visibility with everyone.

This release in NA is the first region outside of Korea, and through this first-time experience, we have also learnt that balancing content on a per-region basis is rather challenging without unintentionally impacting the values on other regions.

There's certainly more to it, but we wanted to shed some light on the core of this issue and explain why it’s taking some time to get resolved. We hope to be able to fully resolve this issue as soon as possible next year. As always, we truly appreciate your support for the game, as well as all your valuable constructive feedback. We want to make sure we listen to your voices and thank you for your patience wholeheartedly. We will be looking to issue some compensation rewards soon and keep you posted.

lame

Not enjoying, just uninstall and move along

don't be salty cause you know it's gonna happen, too many good games coming out in the new year/early quarter that have much better dev service and good luck to holding what little population is left when those games do release especially when they are free to play, the  incompetence of this dev team has shed much light that new comers don't even want to invest their time and i don't blame them

No salt here friend, still enjoying the game, loving it.  And yes, all games either die or lose population.  It's the nature of MMO's.  It's a video game, intended to be played until it's no longer enjoyable.  That line is different for different people.

But why spend your free and leisure time being negative about something you obviously don't enjoy anymore?  What is it that you are accomplishing?

Better to spend your free time having fun!  And yes, LOTS of great games coming out.  I personally think Lost Ark will kill all other games in the US, but I'll keep having fun playing Aion until then, and most likely after.  I don't need thousands of people on the server to have fun, just enough to have some good PvP fun, fill Dredge groups and run some DP, DC and Adma.  None of that's an issue right now ... none at all.  I don't have issues trying to find things to do, I have issues trying to find enough time to do them.

Good luck to you in your next game

There are no more voices. Israphel is completely dead during rush hours there's less than 30-40 lvl 50s on.  This is what happens when we are not listened, people quit we have been asking for content, updates and fixes for months. You do not deserve our patience/support for the game; you deserve a dead game.

There are 79 Elyos on IS atm across all levels atm including bots.

A few months ago it would have been 500+ online at the same time of day.

By comparison, there are 330 Elyos online on Siel atm.
