Paragon Armor not updated with 8.0 - event suggestion too

Okay so the paragon armor pieces did not get updated to 8.0 as in other regions thus making it obselete compared to Fighting Spirit (you lose way too much pdef and mdef).

For example +7 Paragon Desperation Pauldrons have base 952 pdef and 1110 mdef +240 for each with enchant level 7 whereas 8.0 in other regions have (this is physical pauldrons because I can't find magic ones atm) 1665 pdef 1428 mdef base (+240 bonus for level 7).

I would recommend an event for paragon, there are 2 obvious attractions for people to work on these (event needed because not enough mats without - something similar to Tia eye last January). First is Fighting Spirit right side has NO hp, so if Paragon right side was updated it would be sought after for the (3000 hp at level 7 - desperation). Even better for people who use MR (healers only ideally) - they could get Paragon Unyielding which has the same 3024 HP but adds 733 MR at level 7. 

Basically anyone doing anything but paragon weapons is wasting their time and money at current, unless they are brought up to par where they are competitive with GUIDE or Fighting Spirit pieces.

One person made a +8 gloves, which would be really OP if we received the same paragon armor update other regions did - but as of now they are WORSE than fighting spirit sadly...its  a shame - paragon is supposed to be extreme armor.  Anyway either update it or take it out so people dont waste money and just leave the paragon weapons in.

I'm sure you amazing Devs have better or more creative ideas than I do.

We need 8.0 upgrade on paragons and a Tiamaranta event so we burn ourselves doing fatties.

You have to feel for Prawn who made a +8 gloves and deserves to have the stat line here it is incredibly hard to make a +8.

Another thing about enchants is that at 8.0 you have access to a lot of normal paragon enchants, but no way to upgrade them to blessed enchants (those that don't have a chance break the item when they fail).

The only way to do this is to sacrifice one paragon item to get the material that you need and upgraded one normal paragon enchant stone to a blessed one.

Without Tiamaranta event there is no way to get any paragon gear to sacrifice though.

There are ways to get paragon armor like running aog and getting the armor from it or doing rag and omega? Like granted it might feel like a lot but doing that is part of the game mechanics

 

forgot to add yes they should probably update the stats of the armor like the rest of the servers… you an others will still die regardless :v

I don't have paragon armor and its so bad now no one would ever want.  Its not about dying its about giving people hp on right side. Everyone dies though, even PVP god on both sides Stormexia.
