Retail should slowly revert back to original Aion

@Rin if you ever find time to give feedback for the state of game overall, take these notes and let them know what people who actually play the game feel about the changes they have done so far.

If classic taught us anything is that any change the developers did to Aion at 6.0 and forward is heavily disliked by most players. In Korea their retail is also empty while their classic is full so they do know their changes are awful.

6.x was a test, it partially failed, it partially fixed some things. Then we got 7.x which was the worst combination of pre-6 and post-6. It was all the stupid items and impossible to get perks plus the inability to have an open market on top of that more class imbalances. They are so happy at bringing back the cancer of pre-6 godstone-like proc items like runes, passives on weapons and armor that they bring more and more of these.

Archdaeva skills were exchanged with daevanions.
Many skills were removed that were very important.
Many classes practically have 0 good DP skills while other classes have toggles and with the new DP system they can have them on permanently!
Many stigmas also could have still been in game for more diverse gaming.

They need to start reverting Aion back to what it was and what worked. Learn from their mistakes and stop trying to re-invent the genre.

Trading items:
If classic exists and people can have an open market with trading abilities, I do not see why they can't bring it back to retail Aion and make it great again. What are they scared of? If they have it on classic which is the only aion that actually brings them money and they are not afraid of bots abusing the free market, what is their excuse to insist on that model for retail? Any item that is brokerable should start being tradeable.
--> The untrade-ability of items didn't help in combating bots, it only made them more powerful because they are now snatching items off broker from people who can't afford to broker-trade them at the full price.

If they want, they can keep kinah soul bound, so if anyone wants to trade kinah they can use the broker and take the fee! Which is exactly what they do now, so private store ability can still be turned off to avoid direct kinah trading.

Less RNG:
For the love of anything, give us options, I would rather spend twice or triple the materials for anything and manage to get a selectable outcome. RNG can never be beneficial to any game, it is pure gambling and always against the favor of players. RNG is probably the longest continuous reason that people quit the game when weeks or months worth of playing are rendered useless because of a bad RNG outcome.

MMORPG needs to come back
Massively Multiplayer Online... nope, it is defo not massively played anymore! Role Playing Game... Aion is no longer one. So what genre is retail Aion now?
Housing, crafting, skins, gathering... just make them relevant again. Whoever thought the removal of the fun part of aion would revive it needs to be banned from ever taking decisions for a game for the rest of their lives.

PvP:
Why is PvP on one point so hated by the devs and on the other point so much force down our throats? PvP instances were the gold part of 6.x, rendered useless in 7.x and continue to be useless in 8.x. Meanwhile open world pvp which was always the weakest part of aion is enforced on everyone. Having p2w + imbalanced classes and an open world pvp system is a recipe for failure. All the way from old aion with twinks terrorizing the levelers, to the implementation of a defensive buff half the days and finally the implementation of the FTS open world pvp was always an obnoxious thing.
They did have a time where maps would turn pve only for a few hours of the day in Tiamaranta and everyone loved that. Everybody jumped on FTS to level and do quests. There needs to be a time where you can relax and simply do a fking quest without fearing an overheared-op-class will come and melt you in 0.5 seconds because they had nothing else to do! Forcing competition on those not ready or willing to participate isn't making the game better nor does it toughen the players and make them try harder, the game is not designed with merit, it is p2w and RNG infested and when people find it hard to do anything they quit.

~~

Just revert Aion back slowly, no need to make another hard reset like 6.0. Slow implementations of all the things players like.

That should definitely be prevented, just like Stay 50 characters who terrorize others shouldn't be allowed.

They have already thought about this even in old aion. Aion retail is really becoming an impossible game to play, you have to purchase everything OP to be able to play it.

It can be easily and simply prevented by gaining XP not by dying. Stay Characters are trying to prevent XP gain from dying and this needs to be stopped.

Aion Classic should be a pleasant game without stress, there is no place for stay 5o characters, we have already participated enough with such players in normal Aion and do not need to experience something like that again.

I think you answer in the wrong section. This is Aion suggestion.

For classic go here:
