Plasmaman
I contacted support and they obviously didn't understand what I was trying to say due to their response. What I told them was that I had quit Aion the other day out of rage due to manastones, and I uninstalled the game and launcher from my computer. Then, when I came back and re-installed the game from the official website, which included the launcher, it didn't give the option to play Classic! It only says scan file at the lower part of the launcher near the start game button. No matter what I've tried, nothing works! Help!
Merinda
If you have the scan option active instead of "play game" means that the launcher found old aion folder that wasn't properly removed. Try the scan file and check if this fix the issue. I had the same problem when moved the aion installation folder.
Elviae-KT
I had a similar problem a couple days ago. I assume there was either a NCSOFT problem or a Windows 10 (which I use) upgrade broke something. Here's what I did: I renamed the NCSOFT folder to something like NCSOFT.x. I then started a new install. There are some initial steps, but at some point it starts to download 30 gigabytes. At that point, stop the download and move the folder NCSOFT.x\AION_CLASSIC to NCSOFT\AION_CLASSIC. If you do it right, you can start Aion without much download time.
