This has been talked and discussed to -death-, but what the hell. It's a new forums! Let's just go over it one more time! The Visions Trailer is a dream, a wish list, a "if you could have everything in the world, what would you want?" look by the devs for Aion. Like any dream and any wish list, you don't always (or ever!) get everything you wanted. Sometimes what you wanted just isn't possible or would make the game worse and not better. It was -never- meant to be a list of things that were absolutely going to happen. We did get a lot of what is there but in different forms. We have mounts.. you just don't catch them. We have housing.. you just can't invade the other faction's housing. No. We can't swim. In fact as immortal daevas we drown in 3 feet of water. Silly.. yes. Gamebreaking.. no. Some of the weapons used in there are actually similar to the ones used by level 75 transformations. Also, we kind of have capital invasions, though it is by Balaur instead. Well that wasn't done in a wholly pretentious and ostentatiously know-it-all kind of way was it? You certainly do jump at the chance to defend this failing game against any and all threats, (percieved or otherwise), don't you? Kind of like an over ambitious hallway monitor. Players have a right to ask questions regarding past game related news and events. Just as they have a right to expect to not be attacked, (passive/aggressively, veiled or otherwise), by dedicated WK's whom jump down users throats like over zealous guard dogs whenever their favorite game is apparently slighted. That they do. But it also seems passive-aggressive to bring up a concept trailer from 8 years ago and hinting that the game hasn't changed despite evidence to the contrary. Try telling people every single week on Wednesdays that post they cannot connect to servers even though there is a thread, a public announcement in the website and the different social network accounts. It would be really nice to have an instance like that, Elyos attacking Pandemonioum and Asmodians attacking Sanctum instead defending a city no longer exist in the game such as Kamar.
