Weekly Server Maintenance - January 25, 2023 [Aion Classic]

Hello, Daevas! 

Here are tomorrow's maintenance notes for Aion Classic. Downtime will begin at 6am Server Time (4am PT / 7am ET / 12pm UTC) and will conclude after approximately 4 1/2 hours. (Please note that maintenance is longer than usual this week due to some backend updates that are occurring. We appreciate your patience!)

The following changes will be coming to the game during this maintenance:

• [Lower Udas Temple] Jotun Vault Entrance/Treasure Box Changes
  • No longer need a key to enter the Jotun Vault
  • All Treasure Boxes are now combined into 1 "Treasure Box"
  • Jotun Vault Key has been changed to "Jotun's Lockbox Key"
  • "Treasure Box" can be opened with the "Jotun's Lockbox key"

While you are in there. I hope you could address the fact that on the elyo side the kinah drops are not what they should be. more that 80% of the mobs that would normally drop kinah are empty. Also the bots on the elyo side are out of control. To the point that in the few areas that do have kinah or other drops the bots are literally killing the mobs 24/7 

You can't honestly be so blind that you don't know that they are there. Everyone playing sees them so how is it that the people supposedly running thing's turns a blind eye to the bots and kinah sellers?????

best fix i would say would increase the drop rates of items cause it really is bad. should be able to farm common items and sell them to npcs to make money thats the old farming way. and remove the kinah from mobs and add it to quest. and really need a boost rate on white and green items from mobs would really help the community.

If they would ban the bots.. 80% of Siel's revenue is gone overnight, bots pay for that, so obviously NC is not gonna ban then, money talks.

Why not start maintenance at like 2am when people are sleeping so there isn't so much downtime during the day?

is that so hard to tell when is the  patching date or u guys wanna wait till all the players quit only annouce it ? lesser and lesser ppl log in now .

Because it's not downtime during the day for everyone, it's an international server, so you might as well do maintenance when it's convenient for you staff as it will never be convenient for the players.
