It's the whole objects folder. :( It should help a lot of the further downloading process to go slightly faster, though.

Dang, which drive are you trying to install that to? :o You're running out of space on 3 of them!

 

If you're getting the shugofemale error:

Download this

Extract to main Aion folder (not $Patch$ folder)

Run launcher again

Hopefully that fixes shugofemale error.

Oh I just have way too many games installed haha, yeah it's the shugo female error :/, got it I'll try downloading it then, thanks! (as a side note, installing it on the D:/ folder, the only one that still has space ahaha)

I was downloading the 12 Gb file but I'm wrong when I go to 10 GB.

The download stops at 10gb? D:

I'm not home to make the download smaller. :( We tried just using the NPC folder to fix it, but that didn't work.

Open NCsoft/Aion folder.

Rename objects folder to objects.old

Unzip/extract objects.zip file in NCsoft/Aion folder

You will now have a new objects folder in your Aion folder.

Close and login to the launcher again. Run launcher again like normal. :)

I got the same error doing a reinstall, had to use @Cheesecake-DN file to fix it. I suspect something in there got borked for NEW DOWNLOADS and not for updates. I see anyone trying to do a fresh install right now hitting the same error. Thankfully that 12GB file unzipped to the main Aion folder cures it. Heads up to the devs when it's happening this often.

If you're getting this error while downloading the game, please post here with the details of the error, which file it's failing to download, a picture of the error if possible (can upload to imgur and other similar image sharing sites; Google and OneDrive also work for me), and send a ticket to Support here https://support.aiononline.com/.

This is a very common error where your launcher gets stuck trying to download a file that it just can't download. Sometimes (usually) it can be easily bypassed by downloading the file directly.

I had the Shugofemale textures error. I did what you said, and it fixed it easily. Just thought I'd let you know it worked for me. thank you cheese!

I've been fighting the shugofemale file for nearly 2 weeks now, I even tried doing what you said Cheesecake, but I feel like i just don't have the technical skill required. I downloaded the file in google drive, and tried like 3 different ways of unzipping/extracting, and it just said that the file couldn't be found. I'm at my wit's end, how long before NCSoft fixes the lunacher, or is there something more I can do?

It's supposed to be fixed now, I thought. Huh.

In this case, you put the objects folder from the zip file in C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\Aion (since you said you're not tech savvy, I'm guessing you have Aion installed to its default location). :)

Rename data folder in your main Aion folder to data.old

Extract data.zip to your main Aion folder (not $patch$ folder)

Run launcher again

Also file repair when you're done downloading the game. The folder is a couple months out of dats, lol.

Just same thing. Aion main folder, not $Patch$. Rename existing effects folder to effects.old. Then extract zip to Aion main folder.

I am getting 2-4 mbps speed for my download.My internet is not giving me any trouble atm.Btw does that gdrive folder have the latest version of the full game?I mean can I just download them all and copy/paste and repair to play?Thank you very much btw for this help.^^
