Tiamat's Fortress is Tiamat Stronghold, Tiamat's Hideout is Dragon Lord's Refuge. What I am saying is that Kubei got both mixed up.

That would make leveling a legion to level 7 quite a bit easier. Wouldn't even need a group to do the DLR tasks if it's solo. If they are removing TL though hopefully they update the legion tasks or people need to get the Trioan kills in beforehand.

All these are based on my analysis of powerbook and mouselclic.

Chanter skill changes:

  • Protection/Protective Ward: 
    Duration increased to 12s
    Cd reduced to 1 min
    On level 80 the skill provides 500 stumble resist, 300 silence resist. 750 magic defense and healing boost increase by 500.
  • Block Curtain:
    Cd reduced to 3 min.
    On level 75 the skill provides 50%damage reduction for 10s till 20k damage is absorbed. Heals by 1382 every 3s and provides 500 stumble resist, 300 silence resist. 750 magic defense, healing received  increase by 20%.
  • Blessing of Wind:
    Duration increased to 1 min. Now provides added 12% physical attack.
  • Word of Quickness:
    Cd reduced to 3 min.
  • Perfect Shield:
    On level 77 it provides 3 parries and increases magical defense by  350.
  • Chained Crush:
    On level 76 the skill becomes repeat activation 2 times, with a cd of 8s.
  • Word of Life:
    Increased healing. On level 62 provides 1422 healing every 2s.
  • Resonant Strike:
    Is a 2x chain now (like chained crush).
  • Leaping Flash:
    Is a cast skill now.
  • Invincibility Mantra:
    Increases Physical attack by 3% and physical defense by 251.
  • Word of Instigation:
    Increases Physical attack by 6%, accuracy by 450 and magic attack by 300
  • Word of Inspiration:
    Increases Physical attack by 4%, accuracy by 700 and magic attack by 130.
  • Winter Circle:
    Increase cost to 4k DP.
    Now increases physical attack by 30%, healing boost by 500 and increases movement speed, attack speed by 20% for 30s.
  • Shield Mantra:
    Increases block, parry by 452, physical defense by ,201 evasion by 401.
  • Celerity Manta/Revival Mantra:
    Effects incorporated into single mantra.

Removed Skills:  Word of revival, Flight Mantra, Hit Mantra, Tremor, Rage Spell, Ascension Spell.

I sure as hell hope they buff crit and attack on staff to make up for loss of RS and AS. Please inform me if I missed anything.

Sad about Hit Mantra, Flight Mantra and Tremor. RIP Invulnerable shield.

The new instance seems REALLY intricate, will potentially take an eternity. Still, a very neat design.

That's indeed weird and they probably messed up the translation. But Bryos is right, Tiamat's Hideout is DLR (see the powerbook in UK https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/index.php?title=Instances&setlang=en-gb)

I'm sorry for DP and all the other instances removed. Also DS and OB weren't bad. And Sauro too... all of them were quite relaxing to run. Who cares about rentus/orb and NTC, but they could leave some of the lv63-65 ones. Also, Aturam is better than Taloc for me, though both are meh.

Atm I'm worried about that 18s fear skill for the sm. Slightly op.

Also the block capacity increased to 20.000 instead of 6.000

Exactly my thoughts, Kall.

However, it does make sense they turn DLR into a solo instance. They point of the patch is to get rid of redundant instances and offer fast levelling. DLR is really just a big instance, really relevant in storyline (and I still have fun in it) but a burden for legions wanting to level up and a waste of space. It definitely will never get deleted, because of its relevancy, so they adapt it to the new fast levelling. Not to mention DLR is easy to turn into a solo instance. Much easier than TS, as that one would require a WHOLE makeover.

So what is going to make up for the Chanter's huge loss of attack points? Invincibility mantra is now only 3% from 13%(?), I mean P.def boost is meaningless, 15% from rage and 20% ascension too. I hope it's a typo or I'm reading this wrong.

Attack will work in a different way on 6.0 patch.  The damage formula will be different too. So, we can't say if these this new x% buff are good or bad for now

Hmm, yeah, I agree. DLR is definitely more relevant for the storyline than TSH. It would make sense to put it among the campaigns, like for Taloc, and then you can play it again in solo. A bit sad because DLR is funny with a legion, at least it requires some coordination, rather than the classic button smash. But it's better to keep TSH for group and DLR, smaller, for solo. Also, to make TSH soloable, they should change some mechanics (Laksyaka cannot be killed in solo for example), while changing DLR is just a matter of stats. Now that you let me think about it, it's a good choice.

You do know that they are removing stats like 'Stun Resist' and 'Stun Penetration' (never figured out what it actually did).

So, the nerf is actually acceptable (can't say by how much, but still its ok), since they had to balance it with the removed stats.

Just think, if they didn't nerf the current 'Stun' rate and kept it as it is in 6.0 while removing 'Stun Resist' stat, then wouldn't Chanter's (and to some extent any class that has 'Stun' skills) become a broken class?

They're not removing Shock resists (I mean stun, stumble, aerial hold etc)
I think it will work in a different way now.

If you check UD (glad /templar), Remove Shock, Rise, Word of Protection. They still boost shock resistance values.
Also, Unstoppable is still on chanter's skill list for 6.0 so (maybe) the way these status works will change (i do'nt know xD)

he is saying that passive resist and penetration are removed. the ones active will stay.

You can see it here for yourself. Maybe my lack of familiarity with EU instances is what made me mistranslate. I checked the wiki and Tiamat’s Hideout should be DLR.

eu kept all the na custom names before splitting from ncwest. eu started using korean names after the split but only for newer content. tiamat hideout in eu is the one with 2 groups where you get your extend weapon. tiamat stronghold is the single group instance where you fight tahabata and other bosses. about that i'm sure.

This is due to the stat rework. If you see mouseclic both magical attack and physical attack are now "magicalattackboost"/"physicalattackboost" or something like that All other physical classes are getting these similar numbers in their physical attack buffs. So the new values are scaling with that new stat. But yeah, if this goes live chanters will be forced to take WOI for solo. Although it seems most of it will be compensated with the buff to BOW. Even instigation is giving 6% attack but BOW is giving 12% buff for a whole minute. By that scaling logic its huge damage. This basically forces us to choose either healing or dps based on our stigma choices instead of the penalty you  get from RS. Another buff to damage is chained crush becoming 2x with a cd of 8s.

I will miss DP, and EC (though it was really long). I appreciate making DLR a solo instance, and keeping it.

The one thing that bothers me is the order, like dealing with Frozen Monolith and Mirash Sanctum before BoS, DLR before TS, and DD as one of the last instances. But I suppose this depends on how they are presented in terms of quests. 

I am glad they kept Kromede's Trial in (as well as making it a 'prequel' to Fire Temple), same as for Draupnir Cave which was the first real challenge players would encounter on their journey. I am however incredibly bummed about the removal of Adma, regular/Upper Udas, Dark Poeta and Beshmundir -- those instances were among the best Aion has and had to offer, both in terms of rewards for your level but also atmosphere: ambience, music, and lore.

No more traversing through the broken castle of Adma with all manners of creepy undead lurking everywhere. No more reliving that moment where you fought through a rather straightforward and bland Udas Temple when you finally discover and step into this super fancy cathedral-like room with patrolling Balaur, Dragonbound and a Balaur priest waiting at the altar at the end. Not to mention that music there. And now I didn't even talk about Dark Poeta and Beshmundir Temple.

Really ought to get some groups together for those and record some runs before they are gone, I guess.

So end of fast track server? This is also something they pbb will do since they will redo all the exp growth in game, so no need of a super fast server, right? Was never a big feature for me plus i think its a pool of bots nowadays.....

Got some new info from Kelekelio on EU forums. I guess the guy has some sort of access to 6.0 database, so it's really helpful to know how Korea will work this out.

  • Kinah isn't fully removed. On Wednesday (yes, this Wednesday), all kinah will be converted into icon_item_goldbar_01.png 금괴 (lit. Gold Bar), but quests still give kinah and you need kinah to buy items.
  • There will be a new UI where you can "sell" kinah for the icon_item_goldbar_01.png 금괴 and later use these gold bars to buy manastones and other related items.

They're keeping 3 grades for enchantment stones like we have now (normal, shining, omegas)
