So we need +7 pvp accessories to upgrade our accessories? But for the armor we need +10? You guys have legit no idea how the game is played or works. PATHETIC. But for pve gear we need +5. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. LOGIC

ah yes because 1% of the playerbase having full +7 accessories when they just swiped a few hundred dollars, get to upgrade to the new ones and make them +7 because they're the type to just splend money will have the equivalent of a +14 75ap accessory, why would it not make sense to change the game to +5 to purify when it goes down 5 enchants so its 0 instead of 2 lol!!!? even china and japan aion have it +5 by the way, korean aion is only +7 because of enchanting events where accessories go down -1 on failing

We need the pvp ones to be changed to +5 to enable upgrading, stats are too broken if most of the players don't have +7 to upgrade

Ah I see the new purification items so this is recent. Lets be real here, in usd, how much does it cost to +7 a single item assuming multiple failures?

It wouldn't be so bad if we had unlimited ap75 accs to throw tempering solutions into, but that would still suck and cost hundreds of dollars

So with 2x earrings, 2x rings, 1x necklace, 1x belt, and 1x hat that is about $490 - $700 just to gear one character, that's insane and it simply increases the barrier or entry for pvp which used to be just Discordant gear.

Actually, there are no pve accessories.  If you try to purify a +5 harvester accessory, you get a +2 accessory that in the purification preview screen gives you bonus pvp stats (+1.0%), not pve stats (beyond the base pve stats of the accessory).  Also, this patch did not include the greywolf (pve) accessories at all.  This was a purely pvp patch.

this is so stupid, change to +5 or ur game dies, literally ppl will 2v10 with new accs +5, any defensive class will not die to anyone.

those accessories are a huge pvp diference and only 5% of player base will be able to get them, not that many ppl can afford to spend 1000$ just to get accs done.

So this is another cash grab because pve isnt competitive at all.

terrible update overall. 

  • higher tier spinel coin gear is overpriced regardless if they purify into the new abyss gear. 
  • powerbook already showed that +7 was needed for PvP accs, +5 for PvE. However, ncwest did not add any additional source of temperings into the game
  • minium/minion grind is far too inefficient for non-p2w players even after the update
  • bastion of souls did not get nerfed for the NA playerbase. 99% of the playerbase can't pass normal mode. no point even starting talks about hard mode. It takes way too many weeks to get enough soulstones without more instance entries
  • the grind to obtain the new abyss mats requires an unhealthy amount of grind. even when grinding every single pvp instance with siege, it will take a casual player more than 3 months to get even close to 3/4 of their set done.
  • greywolf accessories not added at all
  • magic boost cap not increased and soft cap removal of stats was not released

I wonder how they decide on what to include, certainly reinforces why we need someone to have time dedicated only to Aion so they understand the mechanics (and don't have to ask someone about them in a pre-release demo multiple times).

We used to have a test server,   it helped prevent some of these issues- I don't think Aion will ever get that support again, but it's long past time to have more transparency in what is included prior to release (and even better , more specific release notes available PRIOR to the date of the patch).

I actually respect the  upgrade process - servers are up and running- but the user support looks like it's run out of someone's basement.

Yeah, this patch is kind of a bit of a disappointment (not unexpected at all), even if it's not (for me) because of the accessories purification thing. :P

2 things is fcking stupid on this patch 

1st one is the accesorie purify on +7 

WE NEED AT +5 !!!! COME TO REALITY most of ppl have +4 +5, only 1% have +7 the wallet warriors  

2nd is the extra stigma,  

for real we need all stigmas at least +9 ???? lol

WAKE UP!!!!WE NEED ALSO AT +5

i think you guys as bow said you don't know how the game played and you loosing ppl like this

Waiting for NA to wake up... +7 is stupid hard to get tho, if they want to make like Korean, we should get the same event for enchant + make temperings cheap like 10m instead of 100m...
