Jozepy-DN Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 This just started today...never previously and it only happens after running aion for about 20 mins Im using a radeon r7 200 card my computer will randomly shut off unexpectedly no warning...no restart just shut off so i immediately went and downloaded a temp/speed monitoring proggie thats telling me my GPU temp while running aion is in the 100-107 celc range... after i shut off aion the temp slowly backs down... im no scholar at cards but im sure this means take the card back to the store and go wtf? because i have had it a year maybe less.... just looking for some confirmation from some of you GPU techies out there that my card is in fact overheating and is crapping out and that i should take this back immediately... However, my old computer was doing this same thing -- shutting off after 10-20 minutes of running most games -- and it did turn out to be a bad graphics card.
