Spinel Medals

Hello, I just noticed that on my alt toon i still have 500+ spinel medals.  are they of no use now?

I visited the NPC in sanctum's kaisinel room where they previously sold pvp gears for spinel medals, now it needs petra medals. is there an exchange NPC?

Okay, well spinel medals are for the gear in the Priory, as well as used to purify it further in Iluma.

something wrong with my question? sorry im a returning player. decided to make a new toon, revisited my old characters and found out i still have some stuff in there. anyway thanks. neverheard of priory but i will just try to look it up.

Sorry couldn't quite tell if you were trying to troll or wrote the wrong item name. It is an odd question, yes, because that's the most current medal type.

You spend them in Marchutan Priory/Kaisinel Academy, the NPCs on the sides of the Hall of Fame. They also have several other uses, like being materials to purify into the level 80 Abyss set, obtain Spinel Coin gear, exchange them for stuff in the artifacts in Norsvold/Iluma (stigma bundles, for instance).

And best of all, they are tradable, meaning if you dont want them, you can sell them for some juicy profit.

@Bryos-DNThanks!! so priory is the counterpart of kaisinel acad! I went in again and found the NPC. geez, the first time i looked i only talked to the npc in the middle of the room lol.. not knowing there was another 3 at the side. haha. thanks again!
