Vleans-DN
there needs to be more than 3 ppl with the ability to talk in commander chat to be able to lead sieges. No one rallies unless one the 3 gov/commander calls the siege. This based on their time schedule and no one else's. The point system needs to change so these other people are not handed their position. GP should only be gotten during sieges and no where else. This makes it fair the more you participate should earn you those titles. Not running Instance dungeon zone to gain GP to maintain a rank/title. Today example: Some people wanted to siege Gov/commander did not because of a Buff that asmo was given. Because of this Buff where if there where more people who could talk or use commander chat we might of have got a fort today. People are more often to follow gov/commander into siege than some guy doing lfg to try and take fort together. My dad wants me to add this to this: He said he hears that in 6.0 or 6.2 its all about pvp mainly the end game is about pvp so why do you keep handing people pve gear when there is so many quest to earn pve gear and no pvp gear quest. You expect people to come play aion for month on in being ganged feast by over power pvp players, why we half go broke buying pvp gear or get ganged for month gaining scrap ap/coins to get pvp gear. My dad said hand him a set pvp gear and let him quest his shit, he said he rather go out and get his own pve gear instead of it being handed to him than to be handed pve set and not pvp set when he is trying to get pve quest done. People who are not use to pvp and only pve do not take well when they are killed by high power people or having to be killled 1000 times over till they can get gear to pvp. Change this system here and you will have more pve players enjoy pvp rather than leave Aion after few weeks or once they hit the pve zone that stops. You need to atleast hand them a pvp set gear so that can defend their self while they are out questing.

People are more often to follow gov/commander into siege than some guy doing lfg to try and take fort together. People trust siege leaders because they know whats best, and it seems that in this example, this is the case. You see, there are 2 kind of buffs that depend on the result of the siege: Ariel's/Azphel's Buff or PvP Buff: Depends on the server's Influence Ratio. If a faction has less than a certain percentage of fortress ownership (Influence Ratio is determined by endgame fortresses' ownership), the faction will receive a drastic PvP buff, affecting all players of that faction. Basically, if your faction owns every single fortress, you are giving the other faction this powerful buff, making them considerably stronger to deal with in open world PvP. PEople generally avoid this situation because if affects EVERYONE who PvPs in open world. Siege Buffs: The more a faction successfully takes a fortress, the higher the level of the buff for the opposing faction. The buff's level goes down with successful sieges. The deal with this one is, imagine if you take Divine Fortress for several weeks in a row. The opposing faction will gain the level 9 buff, meaning every single member of that faction attending to that siege will be more or less xformed. That makes sieges a lot more difficult for you, and this will go one forever until the other faction is successful. Not saying you cant defeat the other faction, but, yes... Overall, the example you posted here does not reflect in what you are trying to communicate. You are not supposed to win every siege. 1 hour ago, Vleans-DN said: You need to atleast hand them a pvp set gear so that can defend their self while they are out questing. You are handed out gear to level up fast, but that gear will never be as good as the one you can farm. Doing any high tier instances with levelling gear is impossible. I would even say its not correct to put PvE gear and levelling gear in the same category, because actual PvE gear gives you access to true PvE content while levelling gear is just to be more efficient while you go through low levels (1-65, maybe a bit of 66-70). But anyway, then there is PvP gear, which is understandable. In past patches we would have stuff like Blood Mark gear. We do currently have easy access starter PvP gear; either the level 70 Abyss set or the Spinel Coin level 75 one. They wont save you from EVERYONE, but it will be something to wear while you farm for the big boy stuff.
Aly-DN
It is a pain when one (or more) of the top 3 are on another time zone and cannot attend any sieges, but if those people are on but have decided that the buffs are just too high and they can't rely on enough people to counteract that buff then they are -right- to call the siege off. If there is no chance at all, it is just a waste of time and augment to fight a battle that just cannot be won. Remember, there is no GP unless you have a certain number of points when the siege ends. That can be very tough when the other side is showing up in droves because they have a huge buff and your side isn't. There is nothing to stop you from going out with your friends and PvPing.. picking off the slowest. That can be very fun and profitable in ap.
