Aion 7.0 All Class Skill Changes

This is more of a translation fromhttp://aion.plaync.com/board/balancelab/view?articleId=171&viewMode=thumb&size=20, but with the skill names fixed.

 

Gladiator
◆[Determination]
→ Effect procs at below 40% health instead of 10% health. Stun effect changed into 500 Physical Attack.

◆[Defense Preparation]→

Increased the PVP additional defense from 400 to 500, and the cd from 1 second to 10 seconds. In addition, physical defense and magic defense by 500 to increase the physical damage and PVP additional damage by 500 damage has been added. Removed the effects of parry, block, fear resistance, and agro.

◆[Slaughter]
→ Increased Physical Attack from 180 to 500, Increased PVP Additional Attack from 400 to 500, and cd from 1 to 10 seconds. In addition, the effect of physical defense -500, magical defense -500, PVP defense -500 has been added. Magical Accuracy effect removed

◆[Armor of Revenge]
→ The cd decreased from 1 minute 30 seconds to 1 minute, duration from 7 seconds to 20 seconds, the heal on getting attacked has been changed from 1500 to 1000. And removed reflect damage and fear-sleep resistance. Speed buff still intact.

◆[Magical Defense]
→ The duration has been changed from 15 seconds to 12 seconds, and the magic defense increase effect is increased by 750 to 2000. In addition, Fear and Sleep resistance increased by 1000. MR effect removed.

◆[Wall of Steel]
→ The duration is changed from 30 seconds to 10 seconds, the parry count is changed from 12 times to 10 times, and the cooldown from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.

◆[Body and Mind of Steel]
→ Changed the duration from 30 seconds to 20 seconds, the parry from 30 times to 10 times, and the cooldown from 3 minutes to 1 minute and 30 seconds. And removed the magic defense increase effect.

◆[Draining Sword]
→ Increased damage and the translation says its a dynamic motion so I believe they mean that it has no more animation lock.

◆[Blade breaking] 6.5 skillhttps://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5252
→ The cooldown has been changed from 1 minute to 30 seconds.

◆[Wide Strength] 6.5 skillhttps://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5273
→ Adjust the distance of use from 25m to 15m, and changed the 3m pull into a single target pull.

◆[Attack Leap] 6.5 skillhttps://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5274
→ Adjust the distance of use from 5m to 7m and adjust the damage applied from one target to enemies within 7m of the target.

 

 

Templar


◆[Threat Attack]→
Changed physical attack reduction from 10% to 500, and changed PVE defense from 1000 to 2500. Also, PVE attack increased by 500(Powerbook says 800).

◆[Absorbing Cut]6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5276
→ Health Steal increased from 10% to 40% of damage inflicted.

◆[Shield Sweep]
→ changed the cooldown from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.

◆[Incite Rage]
→ changed the cooldown from 60 seconds to 12 seconds, and added 20 seconds of 1500 PVE defense. Skill chain changed(I don't know exactly what).

◆[Prayer of Freedom]
→ changed the cooldown from 2 minutes to 1 minute. Added 1000 root resistance and removed stumble resistance.

◆[punishment]
→ changed the cooldown from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.

◆[Panoply of Protection]
→ The damage absorption changed from 10,000 to 15,000.

◆[Barricade of Steel]
→ Increased the shield defense effect from 1500 to 4000 and changed the physical defense increase from 250 to 500. And, the magic resistance increase effect has been removed.

◆[Aether Armor]
→ The magic resistance increased from 2200 to 4000, and the magic defense increase from 750 to 1000.

 

Assassin

◆[Slayer Form I]
→ Added an effect that increases the attack speed by 20%, and eliminated the effect of increasing magic resistance. HP increased to 5000.

◆[Slayer of Darkness]
→ Increased MA from 1k to 2k, the attack speed is increased by 20%, while removing the effects of magic resistance and other cc resistances.

◆[Break Away]
→ The cc resistances increased from 500 for 7 seconds to 1000 for 10 seconds, and the cooldown was changed from 2 minutes to 1 minute 30 seconds.

◆[Eye of Wrath]
→ Changed so instead of 1 crit proc, u get 2 50% increased damage procs.

◆[Deadly Focus]
→ The duration has been changed from 10 seconds to 15 seconds.

◆[Lightning Slash]
→Increased effect of reducing physical defense from 400 to 1000. And, magic hit, magic resistance increase effect removed.

◆[Sensory Boost]
→ The effect of evasion and magic resistance increased from 2200 to 3000. Also, the effect of increasing the physical defense by 1000 has been added.

 

Ranger

◆[Speed of the Wind]
→ Added resistance to pull by 300. Also, eliminates the effects of increased physical damage and weapon damage.

◆[Arrow of Destruction] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5279
→ The cooldown has been changed from 3 minutes to 1 minute and 30 seconds.

◆[Deadly Arrow] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5280
→ The cooldown is changed from 1 minute 30 seconds to 30 seconds.

◆[Silent Strike] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5257
→ changed the cooldown from 40 seconds to 30 seconds, the duration from 6 to 8 seconds for monsters, and from 1.8 seconds to 2.4 seconds for pvp and to be applied for 3 seconds otherwise(i think it means siege mobs or something).

◆[Bow of Blessing]
→ The physical attack has been changed from 250 to 400. Also added 1000 Phys. crit.

◆[Bestial Fury]
→ Removed all cc resistances.

◆[Breath of Nature]
→ changed the health buff from 1428 to 2000.Also, cc(aerial thrust,stun,stumble,etc) resistances increased by 50.

◆[Blessing of Nature]
→ Increased the hp buff from 3528 to 4000. In addition, increased cc resistances by 100, and changed to use the skill while moving.

◆[ Mau Blessing]
→ changed physical attack from 360 to 600. Removed the effects of increased physical crit, magical accuracy, paralysis and pull resistance.

◆[Sharpen Arrow]
→ Physical damage has been changed to increase by 150 to 500. Also, added 500 physical critical and eliminated the effect of increased evasion.

 

Aethertech

◆[Mounting Frustration]
→ Added 2500 pve defense, Magical Attack 200.

◆[Silent Vampire] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5291
→ Silence duration changed to 7 seconds for monster and pvp for 2.1 sec.

◆[Rage wave],[Magnetic wave]
→ Changes to skill chain(idk exactly what).In addition, 1500 pve def added for 20s.

◆[Kinetic Battery]
→ The damage absorption has been changed from 66,592 to 70,000. And removed the effects of shock resistance and Parry.

◆[Magical Cover]
→ PVE defense increased from 520 to 700.Shock resistance, Parry effect removed.

◆[Stability Thrusters]
→ Increased magic attack from 764 to 800. And the shock resistance has been removed.

◆[Combat Prowess]

→ Increased magic attack from 764 to 800 and PVP attack has been increased from 520 to 550. And removed cc resistances.

◆[Kinetic Bulwark]
→ The cooldown has been changed from 5 minutes to 3 minutes. Removed magic resistance buff.

◆[Drillbore]
→ The cooldown has been changed from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.

 

Gunner

◆[Survival instinct]
→ changed the teleport distance from 3m to 5m and the cooldown from 1 minute 30 seconds to 30 seconds. Removed the dispel effect.

◆[Escape Instinct]
→ changed the teleport distance from 3m to 5m and the cooldown from 1 minute 30 seconds to 30 seconds. The movement debuff resistance increased by 1000, removed the dispel effect.

◆[Materialize Magic]
→ changed the cooldown from 2 minutes to 1 minute 30 seconds.

◆[Anticipation]
→ Removed the magic resistance effect.

◆[Mental Lock]
→ The movement debuff resistance and impact resistance increased by 500 for 10 seconds, and the movement resistance and shock resistances increased by 1000 for 12 seconds. Also added 500 bind resistance and 500 silence resistance, removed magic resistance, and magical accuracy. Gives 3000 pvp defense.

◆[Sighting]
→ The magic accuracy has been increased from 1200 to 2000.

◆[Slamshot]
→ The cooldown has been changed from 20 seconds to 12 seconds.

→ The cooldown has been changed from 40 seconds to 24 seconds.

◆[Strafing Fire]
→ Increased skill damage by 20% (from 1524 to 1826).

◆[Freeze Cannon]
→ changed the cooldown from 22 seconds to 40 seconds and the reduced the magic defense of the slept target from 2000 to 500.

◆[Restorative Fire]
→ Hp recovery changed from 1000 to 2000.

◆[Enhanced Restorative fire] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5267
→ changed the amount of heal from 1000 by 1500 and in case of crit health is restored by 2000 instead of 1500 now.

→ changed the amount of recovered health from 2000 to 10000.

 

Sorcerer

◆[Flaming Meteor],[Flame Waltz]
→Increased the skill damage by 20%. And the stun effect removed.

◆[Illusion Storm]
→ The cooldown is changed from 2 minutes 30 seconds to 2 minutes, and the duration of the stunning is changed from 4 seconds to 3 seconds.

◆[Boon of Quickness]
→ changed the cooldown from 5 minutes to 2 minutes.

◆[Soul Freeze]
→ Added bind effect.

◆[Vaizel's Wisdom]

→ Added 500 PVE damage.

◆[Flame Spray],[Glacial Shard]
→ Increased the skill damage by 30%.

◆[Summon Rock]
→ The cooldown has been changed from 1 minute to 18 seconds.

◆[Raging Inferno],[Frigid Wave]
→ Skill damage increased by 20%.

◆[Magic Rush]
→ Increased the magic damage from 900 to 1200, the magic crit from 300 to 1200, the cooldown to 1 minute 30 seconds from 3 minutes, and the duration to 30 seconds from 60 seconds. And removed the effect of increasing magical accuracy.

◆[Elemental Rush]
→ Magic attack increased from 300 to 500, magic accuracy increased from 3400 to 4000, and the cooldown was changed from 3 minutes to 2 minutes and 30 seconds. And, the effect of increasing magical crit has been removed.

 

Spiritmaster

◆[Disenchant]
→ Now a dp skill. You can remove 2 buffs and has10 minutes of cooldown.

◆[Summon: Lava spirit],[Summon: Tempest Spirit]
→ changed to a normal skill with 5m cd, and spirit duration remains 20mins.

◆[Dispel Magic]
→ The casting time has been removed and removed damage.

◆[Fear]
→ Duration changed to 10 seconds for monsters and 5 seconds for pvp.

◆[Fear Shriek],[Nightmare Shriek]
→ Duration changed to 13 -14 sec for monsters, 6.5 -7 sec for pvp.

◆[Nightmare scream]
→ Duration changed to 13 -14 seconds for monsters, and 6.5 -7 seconds for pvp.

◆[Curse of Water],[Curse of Fire]
→ Duration changed to 8 seconds for monsters and 4 seconds for pvp.

◆[Nightmarish Lament]
→ The duration changed to 9- 10 seconds for monsters, 4.5- 5 seconds for pvp.

◆[Magic Implosion]
→ Increased the skill damage by 20% and dispels only one buff.

◆[Aegis Breaker]
→ The cooldown is changed from 24 seconds to 10 seconds. Damage increased and removed dispel effect.

◆[Infernal Pain]
→ Increased the skill damage by 20% and is non-dispellable.

◆[Cyclone of Wrath],[Sand Blaster], [Chain of Earth]
→ Increased the skill damage by 20%.

 

Songweaver

◆[Minstrel's Flair]
→ Returning dp skill.

◆[Symphony of Destruction]
→ Changed to non-dp skill with 15 min cd.

◆[Joyous Carol]
→ Healing effect removed.

◆[Soothing Finale],[Soothing Counterpoint]
→ Increased the recovery effect by 20%.

◆[Soothing Hymn]
→ Changed from Greater Stigma to Normal Stigma.

◆[Hymn of Rejuvenation]
→ Changed from Normal Stigma to Greater Stigma, heal increased by 20 %. Also, heal over time increased by 500% for 8 seconds. (Heal:2850, Hot:1370)

◆[Refreshing Melody]
→ PVE attack increased from 520 to 1000.

◆[Chord of the armor] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5289
→ changed the cooldown from 30 seconds to 14 seconds.


◆[Delusional Dirge]
→ Increased your physical attack reduction from 170 to 600, and magical attack reduction has been reduced from 1200 to 600.

◆[Purging Paean]
→ Insta cast animation time removed.

◆[Blazing Requiem]
→Increased the skill damage by 20% and reduced the cooldown from 60 seconds to 40 seconds.

◆[Exultation]
→ Increased the amount of HB from 300 to 500, and reduced the cooldown from 12 seconds to 10 seconds. Also, increased the health by 2000, magical attack reduced by 500 and Magical accuracy buff removed.

◆[Impassion]
→ Increased magical attack from 500 to 800, magic accuracy from 1500 to 2000, and reduced cooldown from 12 to 10 seconds. Additional effect of HB reduced by 800.

 

Chanter

◆[Winter Circle]
→ Physical damage increased from 1800 to 2000 and eliminated the effect of increased Healing Boost.

◆[Word of Wind]
→ Does not require dp, new cd 15m.

◆[Protective Ward]
→ Now a 2k dp skill. Removed the stumble resistance while increasing the duration from 10 seconds to 20 seconds.

◆[Protection Ward]
→ Now a 2k dp skill. Increased healing boost to 500 and duration increased from10 seconds to 20 seconds. Removed stumble resistance.

◆[Stamina Restoration]
→ Added 300 HB buff for 10 seconds and increased the cooldown from 30 seconds to 40 seconds.

◆[Debilitating Incantation]
→ Now reduces Physical Defense and Magic Defense by 500 instead of reducing crit.

◆[Word of Instigation]
→ Increased physical attack from 360 to 400 and accuracy from 450 to 500. Added 500 physical crit and removed the magical attack buff.

◆[Healing Conduit]
→ Now heals for 500 instead of 81 per hit.

◆[Word of Inspiration]
→ Changed from group skill to a self-toggle skill. Also, increased physical damage from 250 to 500 and accuracy from 400 to 500, increased the physical crit by 500 and reduces HB by 500.

◆[Haemorrhage] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5281
→ The cooldown has been decreased from 24 seconds to 16 seconds.

◆[True Disruption] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5282
→ The cooldown has been decreased from 48 seconds to 24 seconds.

◆[Block Curtain]
→ The hp absorption has been increased from 20,000 to 30,000, and the cooldown has been changed from 2 minutes to 1 minute 30 seconds. Now heals for4000 health and removed all resistances and heal over time.

◆[Elemental Screen]
→ changed the cooldown from 3 minutes to 2 minutes.

◆[Numbing Blow]
→ Increased the damage of the skill by 100%.

◆[Resonant Strike]
→ The cooldown has been reduced from 2 minutes to 30 seconds.

 

Cleric

◆[Splendor of Recovery]
→ The heal has been reduced by 10%, and heal over time has been removed.

◆[Ripple of Purification]
→ The heal has been reduced by 20% and added heal over time of 1378 hp every 2s for 15s.

◆[Healing Splendor],[Ripple of Healing]
→ The heal has been increased by 10%.

◆[light of Recovery],[Flash of Recovery],[Breath of Recovery],[Beam of Recovery],[Healing Light],[Healing Grace],[sympathetic heal]
→ Increaded heal by 20%

◆[Rapid Light] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5283
→ Increased heal by 20%, animation time reduced.

◆[Restoration recovery] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5284
→ Increased heals by 20%, decreased the cooldown from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.

◆[Restoration Relief]
→ Heal increased from 5031 to 10000 when party member's health falls below 50%.

◆[Enfeebling Burst]
→ Changed from greater stigma to normal stigma, increased physical attack reduction to 500, added 500 magical attack reduction. Removed damage over time.

◆[Sacrifical Power]
→Changed from Normal Stigma to Greater Stigma, increased magic attack from 500 to 1000, increased the magical crit from 300 to 1000 and increased reduction to healing boost from 200 to 1000.

◆[Benevolence]
→ Added 300 magic attack reduction while increasing the cooldown from 1 second to 10 seconds. Removed 10% mana consumption increase.

◆[Salvation]
→Returning DP skill.

◆[Word of Destruction]
→ No longer DP skill. Damage reduced by30%. Removed the reduced healing debuff. Cooldown reduced from 5 minutes to 2 minutes and the duration from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.

◆[Festering Wound]
→ Removed reduced Magical resistance and damage over time.

◆[Chain of Suffering]
→ Removed the magic resistance reduction effect.

◆[Judge's Edict]
→ changed the magic resistance from 1500 to 3000, and the magic defense from 800 to 1000.

◆[Immortal Shroud],[Immortal Barrier],[Mass Immortal Shroud]
→ Silence resistance, stumble resistance has been removed.

◆[ Prayer of Focus]
→ Removed the magic defense effect and adjusted the cooldown from 1 minute to 30 seconds. Added 500knockback resistance.

◆[ Prayer of Resistance]
→ Silence resistance increased from 500 to 1000, and the cooldown was changed from 1 minute to 30 seconds. And removed the magic defense effect.

◆[Continuous Thunderbolt] 6.5 skill https://aionpowerbook.com/powerbook/Skill/5264
→ Animation speed increased.

◆[Hand of Salvation]
→ Added 500 magic defense and physical defense. Removed health restore on falling below 50%.

◆[Power Smash]
→ damage has been increased by 50%.

◆[Amplification],[Bless Shield]
→ The two skills have been changed to be used as a duplicate. Idk what it means but I'm guessing they share cd.

 

Apart from this, some skills like summon:servant damage got buffed.

Another nerf for Gunner eh? Remove the one debuff removal skill that we have. Now we can truly be a glass cannon class. So when a sorc burry a root and soul freeze your ass in 7.0,  it's GG

I think from 6.5 and on,  the gunner  is more  like a magical gladiator. I dont think this is a nerf.

Damage going through the roof again.

They just keep raising the numbers, soon people will be hitting tens of thousands regularly... and mobs will have millions to tens of millions of HP. This is becoming kind of silly...

Yeah you're right, Damage for Glacial Shard and Flame Spray got reduced. Quite a bad mistranslation. Wish they allowed to edit the post, so I could fix it.

After looking at the damage changes for sorc I think it's possible that they changed the damage to be equal to the pvp damage of the 3 high damage skills. I.e. Storm strike is -50% flame spray -35% and glacial shard I think was -40% so now the pve and pvp dmg of those skills are the same. At least I hope that's what this is cause if they just nerf sorc that hard I can't see how any sorc mains can keep up in 7.0, like I main a sorc and have a sorc alt so I am super demotivated by this "change"

From what i see from  this Sijeon  video, this stuff  about the debuff removal is probably not true.

They edited the post with new info. Pve damage of all skills that do damage on hit ,  Pressurized Chamber, Rapidfire Deluge, Pledge/Promise of earth, Blessing of wind, Scoundrel's Bond, Apply Lethal Venom, Powerful Shot(Minion skill), Enhanced Powerful Shot(Minion skill), Pulverizing Attack(Minion Skill), Crouching Dragon Kick(Minion skill)  has been doubled.
