Using PvP weapons in PvE instances

I'm really curious to know how good/bad it is. I have a SW that used up its luck gearing up and can't get a harp from BoS and I want to try and craft an ultimate weapon.

The masterwork ultimate harp has about 500 more base points in magic attack and 300 more in magic accuracy than the legendary harp from BoS (that I'm not having luck getting anyway )

But then you're missing out on a good chunk of PvE attack bonus... but at the same time from crafting a PvP harp I can get fighting spirit fragments from the failed attempts, and have a nice PvP weapon too.

 

So would a masterwork ultimate PvP weapon be a good substitute to hold me over until I can get into IDD? Should I go for a monarch harp instead? Suck it up and wait for BoS to drop a legendary?

Yes ultimate masterwork weapons are better in pve than legendary weapons from instances. the base attack they gives and the optional stats are always better than the main attack + options attack + pve bonus of legendaries.

You also get better other stats like better accuracy, better critical etc.

1) Best weapon for pve = instance weapon drops
2) Second best weapon for pve = ultimate masterwork monarch weapons (I think anomos is also here too with them)
3) Third best weapon for pve = genesis crystal ultimate pvp weapon
4) Fourth best weapon for pve = ultimate masterwork conqueror weapons.
5) fifth best weapons for pve = the legendary weapons from instances
