ThunderSpank-KT Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 @Cyan Harmony/Discipline entry resets on Mondays ---> people entered their harmony/disci to get points before the recent season ended ------> New season started on Wednesday (today), and now said players are minus cooldowns for the new season (and, with the lack of cooldowns, likely to have less points than every other player at the end of the season). Is there something that will be done about this disadvantage? Will it be fixed somehow? Support is likely to get a multitude of tickets over this. If someone chose to use their cd's at the beginning of the week to gain an advantage, or to follow other people trying to get ahead, then it shouldn't be a contenscious issue that the following season those that waited to use their cd's get an advantage. You've had the information and chose what you wanted to do, you chose advantage last season for disadvantage this one. You shouldn't have it both ways. Everyone knew they had 2 days worth of runs to do prior to the season ending, so it was not really an "advantage". In previous seasons they had a full week between each ending season and the new season, so no everyone did not know they would be without cooldowns at the start of the new season. If your entire argument is based on "prior information" then it's completely flawed because NCWest did not provide any kind of indicator that these seasons would be different from any past season rotations. You're not forced to use the entries from the last reset to make them count towards the ending season, but if you don't, someone else will for sure, surpassing you in points and screwing you out of 1st place rewards. And if you use your entries to make them count for the ending season, you automatically screw yourself out of the next season's rewards because you'll be missing 1 week worth of entries. So at best you can win 1st place only every other season. Compare that with having the seasons end the same day that arena resets, so everyone is guaranteed to have the same amount of entries per season (not counting those that try to abuse reset scrolls), so as long as you win everything you’re guaranteed 1st place in Harmony (Discipline is different as points depend on opponent's rank/dodgers/etc) every season. Just like arena reset scrolls got removed from the BCM to ensure competitive seasons are not based on who can spam the most runs, the seasons' end date should be tied to arena reset days to ensure everyone has the same amount of runs. I tried to send tickets just to merely explain the situation that will effect every one and rewards that are quite desired by every player in the game but they do not comprehend anything. The simple solution is to change the arena reset days to Weds instead of Monday. We all know that you guys made a custom change for the GP ranks and GP ladder to "function" properly but it indirectly messed up Arena of Harmony and Arena of Discipline competition ranking ladders. Here is what I get just for trying to explain to the idiots in support. Also they keep saying go to the forums but alas...... WE ARE HERE and nothing for two weeks?
