Aethertech Nerf - Not announced?

Hi, 
I realized that my Aethertech has been greatly nerfed in PVE damage, but changes were not stated in the patch notes at all. Any reason for this? Also, why the huge nerfhammer?
 Here is the FULL comparison of the changes between 6.5 and 7.0 on AT skills:

This was completely not written in the patch notes as all, and as far as I am aware, only applicable to ATs. Wanted to just check if other classes received such changes without any announcements?

The short answer to your question is "yes" other classes at least one other class had a nerf to PVE damage. However in the case of ATs it could be argued that it wasn't a surprise that it would be toned down.

AT got nerfed a lot and to say it's small is a understatement. AT was a little strong when maxed geared but to hammer it this hard and buff it later with a heal CD reduction is just to much. I wouldn't be surprised to see templars beating all AT now with these changes and they are the tanks.

Noob? l've played AT since it came out and been back and fourth on this game. The buff is only seen if you have access to all your stigmas so any new player will not. The shield being on a less CD is a buff IF you have the space to socket it.  4.0 AT's were much stronger then what we have now.

Yep totally agree. I do agree a slight adjustment may have been in order, say maybe 10% -20% of adjustment on certain skills , but now with 35%reduction on virtually all the main damage skills is excessive!

I may have missed out a few, but this is practically all AT's main spells. This translates into a 35% reduce in AT's dps.

AT was bottom dps class before 6.5, they buff it and now they nerfed it again, makes no sense.
