Im sure about Ncsoft is trolling us... Now imagine 5k spent+ on events and u getting nothing in return... I got more then 80 Ancient transformations, 16 + legendarys Tranformations... Ancient combine got only 1 Legendary and old one... Legendary Combine got 0 new tranformations...total more then 25 trys...( 5 days ago) and they dont care... You know the enchant rates, if getting an ultimate transformation was easy then everyone would be combining left and right and getting them. As you might of seen from other events, NCsoft is EXTREMELY greedy. You cant just spend 1000$ for them to be happy, the rates are so bad that you have to spend so much more then that. Thats how p2w events go for in aion. it effects all players and is so stupid, we need better enchant rates. Not to mention, ways to obtain ultimate contracts in the game. Falcy-DN Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I've spent $1735 on my main account + another $25 on my alt account over the course of 180 days to buy 3 things: The Ult Transform from the Joker Event(Which I got), Stigma Enchantment Stones during that stigma enchanting event where they said the +12 safe spot wasn't gonna be a thing after the event, and Ancient Refining Stones + Shining Gemstones because that's the actual end game. Then I have Falcyboop's account which I spent $1550 over the past 180 days to get: An Ultimate Transformation on the Joker Event(I didn't get it), Shining Gemstones that are not +5 because I can't spend my money on actual end game content, and then this "event" to get an Ultimate Transform(I didn't get it again). Her end game is stuck trying to get an Ultimate Transformation because the nyerk system is backwards with what the Aion team considers to be end game. And look what I did? I submitted a ticket about it because it's completely unacceptable to spend THAT MUCH MONEY and NOT get an Ultimate Transformation. Supports response is to give you $25 back after you spent $1,000 when the point of the ticket was to get One(1) Ultimate Transformation. @Gideon @Loki @Kibbelz I requested that my ticket reach YOUR desks and Support has the audacity to tell me to "nyerk off" when tons of people have spent enourmous sums of cash just to PLAY THE GAME the way it was intended to be played. Gabe-DN Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I am sorry as there is no kind way to say this but anyone that spends more then 30 bucks on this game in its current state is just an idiot, then on top of that from their past events and updates, I don't see the point of spending thousands to get an edge just to have the whole system get scrapped on the next big update. That has pretty much been the cycle over time is fleece you for cash in an update give it a few months, scrap it, put in new and better armor and repeat the cycle which is actually one of the many reasons I left. Just disgusting. And the thing is, NOTHING will change. A couple major updates from now then these transformation are obsolete, there will be new sought out things that will require RNG carried, deep wallet or an army of alts. Great game, everyone. I learned since 6.0 to never spend money on transforms in Aion sadly. They simply do not want more than 1~5% of the population having ultimate transforms in NA which is crazy because it is a necessity at endgame pvp and pve. These new Ereshkigal and Tiamat transforms were just to tease and create more desire to reach ultimate, which both of these new transforms get a +24 to their primary attack (pve/pvp) every enchant level on their major runes (if you ever get them or their runes O.o). They have made Ultimate transforms crazy difficult thing to get, which shouldn't be because it just an endgame part of playing the game. I've been trying since 6.0 now to get my ultimate and it is pretty ridiculous I still don't have just one after almost 2 years. With 2 new OP transforms out, almost everyone should be allowed to have Kaisinel or Marchutan. Chargebacks will get you banned but will hit their credit rating - if enough players chargeback there will be an impact we're sure. A class action based upon what exactly? I don't disagree with you at all, this game design has too much gambling and some people are particularly easily addicted to gambling. In some countries, this type of game design is or may become illegal under certain circumstances, and that's likely for the best. However, in NA under its current form someone over the age of 18 who continues to throw money at an event event and doesn't get what they want likely has no case if the event isn't clearly broken. If it makes them feel better they can stamp their figurative little feet or use a chargeback but otherwise too bad for them as they explicitly agreed to play and pay under the rules of the game or event. You can't blame anyone but yourself for continuing to throw money at them while they don't bother listening or throwing you a carrot on a stick, VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET and then they'll either listen or close the game down, both of which are a better result. The contract that drops from PvE and some quests and whatnot gives you a normal transformation 99.9999999% of the time. So that leaves you with 1-2 legendary a month if that. Then when you are about to combine, all those hard work just goes poof if you arent lucky. Just a shitty design. That leaves you with buying it off from BCM. I got extra money this month so i have decided to spend $750 on my main account and another $700 on my alt account hoping to get ultimate xform. BUT i got NOTHING!! Heck i got an old legendary xform, not even new ones. So stupid of me to spend money on this BS rng game and you even get nothing rewarding in return. I do not spend money on this game, however I spent something I can't get back. Time. Firstly I crafted the transformation boxes from luna for 3 months on every alt I had that it appeared on. I only got ancient contracts and none combined into a legendary transformation. When lugbug came out I completely the weeklies and got a legendary contract every 2 months because that's the timeline in how often you can get them that way. I did that for 6 months to 1 year. No ultimate transformation. Hell at one point I only had 2 legendaries and it even kept giving me duplicates. That probably either says something about my rng and maybe just rng in general on Aion. Spolier alert.. I do not craft those boxes from luna anymore nor do I do lugbug. It's just really bad something this game breaking is locked behind such god awful rng just to make money. In Russia they implemented a system where you get items from instances and someone said it takes 6 months to get all and the reward is an ultimate transformation box with the first 2 ultimate transformations. The chance to get the ultimate transform from the 20$ BCM contract could have been 1%, if you knew that would you still buy it? The rates also mean nothing, yesterday I tried to enchant a titan coin pve weapon for an alt who had enchant stones, it took 75 legendary enchants (got them from doing various things for months) to get it to +12 and then 5 ulties he had (they were from an event) took it to +14, because 3 kept failing at +12 and then 2 went in. You will find most people who have spent big after 2 such stupid events through the BCM to entice people in getting a Ultimate contract and have gotten nothing will be the downfall of Aion. Once people leave they won't be back, Ncsoft could have offered all these people a Ultimate contract for everyone who have spent during the last 2 Ultimate events lets say 1k, heck you can make it 2k, shit lets say 3k. This would have kept spenders happy. The none spenders can't really complain they still have a game to play and still have a chance to one day get the ultimate contract. Doesn't Ncsoft realize by doing this they will keep these people happy, playing and paying. In 6 months you will introduce something new in coming patches and make lots more money but pissing people off who spend and not giving a shit good luck. NCWest still treats legendary transformations as something special when, in reality, they are the bare minimum of playability. Remember when we all had ancient transformations back in late 2018 - mid 2019 and we couldn't even weave properly because our attack speed was so slow? LEGENDARY. IS. THE. MINIMUM. Half the server should have ultimate transforms by now. Some classes are just blissful with ultimate transform. An assassin with Kaisinel? Yeah, fine, that's nice. But if you've ever played a chanter/cleric/songweaver/sorc/SM with ultimate xform? Yeah. That's on a whole other level.
