Fissure of Destiny help

Hi guys,I wanna know if the Fissure of Destiny (lvl 53 campaign quest) is harder to do as an Asmodian. I've completed it with my two Elyos toons (Templar and Chanter), both at 53 in one shot. But when I tried to do it with my level 55 Ranger on Asmodian side, I kept dying! Do anyone of you have the same issue as well or is it just me?

Well, both quests are the same. The only difference is that Asmodians have Elyos guards as enemies and Elyos have Balaur. But it might be related to the classes you are doing them with. Chanters have no AoEs, but they have heals. Templars have defences and heals. Rangers have... nothing.

The average Elyos are mostly noobs, so the campaign is a bit harder on asmo side to give few challenge to the most part of the faction.

Anyway, those NPCs die very fast, but if you aggro several groups at once, obviously you'll have more problems with your ranger, since your leather gear won't defend you as much as a chain or plate set. If you have trouble luring the groups 1 by 1, just wait until lv55, when you'll get that OP gear in Enshar.

Good luck! (and drop the elyos...)

EDIT: oh, your ranger is already lv55. Hmm... well, wait until lv65 then.

Do you happen to know the name of the Enshar gear?

it may go badly as an Elyos ranger, being more a single target burst class or anything in leather for that matter, gunner not much for area effects, sin? after blind... LOLZ!! these I  know because I've run them through it. may have to leave the quest until 60, when you don't aggro anything unless you WANT to and have all the traps you feel best about laid down.

Elite Fledgling set. Mythic equipment received from the first Enshar campaign; Enshar Expedition.

Hmm another thing with the Fledgling Sets is that you can't manastone socket them, right? I have a few manastones like Attack +5 but I can't socket them anywhere in my slots. Still a bit of a noob when it comes to manastones and stats... xD

They told you the truth (unlike me about the quest balance).

Both gears cannot be manastoned because they are already manastoned (you can see the current manastones if you hold Alt and scroll down, I think. Or just press Alt maybe. I won't never get used with the new UI).

Also, unlike the "old" renewed/resurgent gears, with no manastones slots, you can actually remove and resocket the manastones on your gear. The edit panel is accessible if you left-click on your gear from the inventory. From there, you can remove the current stones/enchant/dye whatever. But don't do it, that gear is already good as it is. You should have no problem for that campaign now.

Some silly tip: shot 1 elyos NPC when the group is far from the others, and only when they are close to you, use the 2 AoE you have. If you go AoE before, you may risk to aggro several groups at once. Spam the Tab key to change faster target, you should be able to 1-shot them all. It's just a matter of being quick. Maybe have some pot ready on your quickbar, in case.

Good luck
