Ele-DN
Afternoon window is 2 hours. night time window starts at 10 pm for eastern players and ends at like 3 am? but whos going to stay up till then. On Sunday, sieges take up an hour out of that. Then queue times are like 20 mins+ and with prestige, EC, Dredge, ID assuming 20 mins each, thats 60 mins waiting to get in game on Sunday. Not even counting IB and w/e the other one is....
Vessttemona-KT
mmm, i dont think is a good idea, as you said it takes around 20 minutes in queue to enter any pvp instance, and one of the reasons why it takes so long is because we have in some instances a 5 hours window to be able to go to X instance, if we had a two hours window as in the afternoon would be easier to get a pop because the same number of groups that apply at night, when you have a 5-hour window, they would have to do it with a two-hour window, making the system find groups faster. On the other hand, if the instances were always open, it could take hours to pop.

The time it takes for the instance to pop is related to the number of people queuing in which relates to the population of this game. Remember 5.8? With almost unlimited EC runs and how there were 3-4 games running at the same time? With limited entrys now, given a window, there would be less queues at the end of the window, gradually decreasing from when it opened. Or increased at the very end just for people to burn their entrys. And because theres a window and a limited number of entrys, you could either get quick pops or a timer that goes beyond when pvp instances are closed... wasting time forming and waiting. If it was opened all day, sure the wait is "longer" but if it pops, not much of a waste of time compared to if it was closed if it doesn't pop.
