So you are saying that if NCsoft decides to sell kinah straight to the players would be fine since bots also selling right?  Bullshit, some people buying curency  from bots its there in all games but the amount of people doing its way less than the ones who will buy an official item like those candies.

Dude, people make an actual living off selling gold in mmos. I have a friend that makes 5k a month selling ffxiv gold, LOADS of people buy gold, some even buy both. I feel like it's a minority now a days that won't buy gold.

However I don't think either one is ok.

Don't like 90% of other MMORPGs allow players to sell cashshop items to other players for in-game gold? Even WoW allows players to sell subs to others players.

There is pretty much always a way to make in-game currency off of the cashshop, whether it's directly or indirectly.

Not sure why some many players are so bent out of shape at NCSoft for doing pretty much the same thing nearly every other MMORPG is doing

Good job guys, you burned that chance up on entry. It is customary to hold your hand and draw a crowd before you blast them with an amazing show. Especially while the majority are on a seven day trial period. Lol, this team is full of some real amateurs. Pop the champagne, but you might want to keep the cork. Dummies.

Please remove "Tough Pink Tiger Candy" selling from NA and make them unsellable/untradable like in Korea. This is already damaging confidence in the game here in the West.

Please don't allow players to directly convert real money into kinah like this.

This level of pay to win is absolutely unacceptable for a subscription based game. The playerbase has already dropped due to these issues specifically and will continue to drop. I regret spending my $20 on the Daeva Pass. Thank you for ruining my favourite game one final time.

Some candies sell on the shop at a ratio of 3mil kinah per 11$ and everyone loses their shit.

But gold sellers will be selling 100mil kinah per 20$ and no one will bat a single eye.

Weirdga.

I am literally paying for a sub so that this kind of p2w would NOT be in the game. IF you want this game to succeed and still make a lot of money, increase the montly cost or/and add more cosmetics BUT STAY OFF RL MONEY TO STATS CONVERSIONS.

"Back in days i bought to kinah sellers"

Yes some people did. yeah, but is it a good reason to say yes to those candies ?

1) Gold sellers are illegal, bots are banned, on some games, buyers gets sanctions when there is proof.

2) This is fare worse than goldseller / BDO outfit selling in AH / WoW Token :

Lets see about bdo/WoW case. people buy thing in cash shop, and sell it on AH to other player. Player with enough money will buy it. and if i don't do mistakes on BDO, the AH tax fall upon this selling (not sure).
SO they are just player A paying Real Money, and player B paying silvers he farmed. No money generated in the process (and if taxes AH applies, there is even money destruction)
.

The candies on aion have a big difference : they CREATES money : you buy the thing in Quna Shop, and sell it to NPC.
And it does a really big difference about economy. lets say 1000 people buy the pack of 10 candies, the first day, 1 billion money is magically generated out of nowhere. after 3 days, there is 3 billions. 4th day : rinse and repeat

How would be this "it is the same than original experience" ? did 3 billions were created the first 3 days by 1000 bots ? not sure... The kinah selling generates other big matters (account hack, and destroy AH with stupidly low prices) But it doesnt create money magically.

Candies are just false money. the worst thing for an economy

@Kibbelz I would just like to add to the dislike of these candies, or anything that you can buy for IRL money, being sold to vendors for kinah. Inflation is going to skyrocket and ruin the economy quick.

I was having an incrediblely good time playing yesterday until I learned about these candies. My drive to play this game is pretty much gone now.

PLEASE make things like this unsellable and untradable.

Wow guys , well done . I am think about that yesterday before i going sleep .

Daeva pass its ballshit without 30 $ , with 30 $  its pw2 .

Candy can be sold for 100k ? well done NCsoft

That game is not " For Gamers by Gamers " anymore , its " For Gamers by Traders "

my expectations before the start were  99/100 . Now its 15/100

Its very sad , NCsoft didnt change way they chose " pay , donate  more plz , we need that , we give you all you need , just give your money to us "

If they dont fix that , it will be my last NCgame , i dont belive them anymore . All they know now .how to make money , they dont know anymore  how to make good games , they dont care about players .

You can buy Kinah from chiness and bot 12 years ago... same with Lineage, WOW, UO, SWTOR... If something like that disturbe you then you have to stop play all MMORPG. Aion is nice for that because kinah not realy useful for high end stuffing

You either have zero experience playing Aion or you are heavily invested into kinah buying. You can't really believe that kinah isn't exetremely important endgame.

Why is this p2w issue not fixed yet, why are you making players quit already, only 1 week in, I dont understand. It's great that its pay to play, love that, sell cosmetics and stuff that doesnt effect battle power, idc, but why do this ? Think this shit through please, getting 30$ from bp from some people idnt worth making half the population leave soon, even on a business standpoint its not smart, you can do better than this!

Although, I don't like the p2w bs. You seem to have not thought about this. If half of the people still playing pay for subscription ($15) and buy daeva pass ($30) they will be making more money a month ($45) compared to people paying just $15 a month.

They won't "fix" the p2w candies, they must have made hundreds of thousands of dollars already from people buying candies.

People seem to forget businesses are there to provide a service but to make as much money as possible. Which is why they aren't going to do anything.
