I see your point and can honestly accept some of the logic, however. This is an MMO, it's multiplayer. If players aren't seeing fit to support the game because of a poorly executed and marketed system

they haven't actually posted anything about Aion Classic since the 23rd so there's that.   this post was created 18 hrs ago by their communtiy manager. since then he's said nothing and his

It's been years of dealing with NCsoft and one thing is for sure~! They do not believe in under promising & over delivering in ANYTHING they do.....

I had fun these days for free but hey, it's time to start again since I'm not putting money in the game. Thank you for bringing the classic. (Too bad it is paid monthly)

Im all for a subscription, a company can't run on "air." It's $30 battle pass that comes with it, which is just pay walling features and items that should be normal and included items to begin with... that's why we would pay a subscription. And of course the whole candy debacle was a complete mess and horrible idea... I liked AION a lot, but not going to continue sadly after these features remain in tact...

I don't mind paying $15 for a game I enjoy. Aion was my very first MMO that I played religiously. I know for a fact that there will be many people who stick around regardless of the candy nonsense.

Sure, it sucked, but the economy has already balanced itself out. You get a good drop, and you make tons of money to buy stones, stigmas, skills, etc. You craft and sell your potions, scrolls, food, etc. for tons of money to all the lazy whales. It worked out just fine.

The battlepass was completely optional and you can already see what each pass is the next month as they are literally copy and paste from KR. (They're about 6 months ahead so you can already see which pass is worth it to you.) None of them are worth it and none are gamebreaking honestly. It really comes down to how much you want to support the company any given month.

If you're really bothered about the $15 a month for the aura, then Aion clearly isn't worth it to you which is perfectly okay.

I hope you find a game you enjoy soon though!

If players aren't seeing fit to support the game because of a poorly executed and marketed system, then there really isn't much of a game to enjoy because there are no players. I'll take what's most important to me, my time, and go else where with it. I liked AION as well, but if a large portion of the AION community is deterred to play, then why continue to play this MMO? Perhaps some people like just questing around by themselves performing large grinding fests a lone....for a subscription fee. What's the point of the game then in terms of glamour, pvp, and running dungeons if the company deterred it's player base and many players left...within the first week? Anyway, just my thoughts about it..

hi. 1st day  was 50k player want to join game but after that it never happens again. So your game failed? Your service is bad when banned player even they haven't login to game yet. Game character creation limited make some player can't follow. Pay to win with wallet to get good gear in just 1st week. With me your launch failed. And bad thing is u don't let ppl buy your game service even after support said it good to go. Unbelievable you rejected money but still be call pay to win game. Finally is good game but bad service.

completely false. Some 35 stigmas are already going for 6-10mil while kromede drops are selling for 100-200 candies. Aion Classic a balanced economy this is not. Most f2p or purely p2p players are scarping by with 1-2mil. The you have the oddballs who are bot crafting and reselling candies to claim "not p2w" lol

A few things are inflated yes, but that's not to say any economy doesn't suffer from that. The candies are sold for a max of 1mil a day which you can make normally by just playing the game. It's the players that enable the candy to be traded as currency (credit) that made it bloom as much as it did. Those that buy the candy from the whales to resell for them are very much contributing to the problem and allowing them to exceed the daily cap. Thank your faction for that.  Also anyone that buys a Kromede weapon LOL.

Anyway, I'll mention this again and not to discredit the candy P2W issue, but as a comparison. Retail Aion at launch and now have significantly more P2W. Black Cloud Wings, Enhancement packs, Instantance Reset Scrolls, Outfits, Wings, GEAR, etc. As of right now, I think most people are overreacting without letting the market and playerbase settle. This happens in many MMOs of all kinds.  Siel's free week is over after maintenance so let's see what happens from there.

lol you're in the Aion Classic section, what did you expect? Also there IS maintenance for the regular Aion, all you need to do is check the regular Aion section.

I will be buying 1 months worth of Siel aura and I will see how it goes after the free week when most of the bots should be gone. Hopefully the candies will be gone so the economy can settle down after the bubble. For now I will just keep my head down, grind my crafts and enjoy leveling with my friends. What happens after this month will be determined by the next 3/4 patches NCSoft brings out.

I completely agree here. For the subscription this battlepass should already be included/at least at a reduced price. Having to pay double the amount of the subscription each month to make the grind a little less grindy I think is a bit over the top.

That being said, the Battlepass is exactly that, a way to lessen the grind, so far as I have seen it's not super pay to win, just pay to be lazy. The candies was pay to win for me since there was no additional work needed to get the reward for buying them, with the Battlepass you still have to put in work to get the rewards.

All this said and done I enjoyed this past week of Classic, it is still my favorite MMO and 100% my favorite game to enjoy with friends. The Crafting system is great and I am looking forward to the late game PvP. If NCSoft does things right this time around they could win back a lot of their players that they lost with official Aion. Just listen to your community instead of your wallets. A smaller steady revenue stream over a longer time is always better than a big income bubble followed by a burst, just makes the books look bad.

No sub = no lfg chat please. And including the free hour as no sub.

It's prolly time to end the guest login forum garbage too. Getting hard to read the same 3 jobless trolls posting the same nonsense every day because mommy won't give them 50 cents a day to play video games.

OMG PLEASE, do something with bot saler. This game is so AWESOME but many many many players are already well geared because they bought gold from gold saler. For the 1st time I thought I can do some great pvp but finaly its a big NO. Don't let Aion getting destroy by this arrogant saler and poeple who bought from them. Please DO something.

What server are u playing on ???

on Siel - ely kromede weapons sells for 1-2 mill unless its the polearm. And just selling and dischanting gren and blue weapons have netted me over 10 mill already.
Making it sound like the world is ending i think is shitty attitude, no matter u love or hate candies its doesnt make any difference ...
Whales would only buy bot kinah if the candies arent in game and if the bots arent there then everyone be complaining about nolifers instead. ..
