There WAS a filter that worked for about a week and NCSOFT decided to remove and replace the chat filter file and now, even replaced, ALL SPAM GETS THROUGH!!! This is unacceptable. Everything just points to NCsoft caring more about Gold Sellers than the actual player base. Again, there WAS a filter that worked and now it doesn't. What else is there to research? Try this: The filter is in this path: ...\NCSOFT\AION_CLASSIC\l10n\ENU\Data\Strings\aionfilterline.dat You need to add any key words you want in that dat file (with notepad) and then save it. Then zip the file (not rar), so now you have "aionfilterline.zip" Then rename the extension of this new file from .zip to .pak so it will be "aionfilterline.pak" ...this is how the new way was supposed to work, not sure if they changed it again. Try this and let me know. If you are already logged all you have to do is go to char screen and relog and it should work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some nice Elyos (Nimrod on LFG, Siel Elyos) helped me with it. Hopefully, the admins/mods are sleep so enough people can get helped by this. Download this file: https://github.com/Yoress/Aion-Classic-Chat-Filter-NA/blob/main/AION_CLASSIC/l10n/ENU/Data/Strings/Chat%20Filter.pak Place the .pak file into \NCSOFT\AION_CLASSIC\l10n\ENU\Data\Strings\ You don't have to extract the .pak file.
