Or that allow blatant hackers like Sooki to play for months with no punishment, so that they can say "lol guys i no longer hack i no longer pop red on dpsmeter :)" The moderation on this game is a joke and when this server inevitably closes before the third anniversary, i hope all you salaried employees at NCSoft can lay your head on your pillow and go "wow, i really did a nyerking horrible job on that game"
@Whisp @Whisp can you acknowledge that you are actually a real human, attempting to communicate on our behalf? Or are you just another bot like Rin sent to placate the masses so more sub money comes in. God knows nobody is actually buying quna or kinah anymore, there are no bots. Where is the money coming from to support the server?
Also, shoutout my fellow F-Tier players!
There are still plenty of ppl buying quna. I see people with the latest daeva pass items/emotes/motions everytime it resets. Most of them are the top players 10-20% of active players. Not to mention people buy the enraged gear/weaps for thousands of quna. That has probably been the biggest quna booster. And those players are not going to stop buying because Aion is their life.

So.... Will we really have 80% PvE ATK buff and 80% PvE DEF Buff? o_O
yeah and also maintenance being done during peak hours? Every other game on the planet does NA maint. between 3-7am

Community Manager, AionThank you Wissp...but the NA Aion player base has been treated like an abused dog...As much as you would like them to be patient and understanding, these are all just hot words until you and the NA team can be trusted again, dont expect much from the current player base. Once we start seeing action being taken, then we can really get a good dialog going and fix Aion NA for the better.

idk, it seems pretty obvious they broke the authentication server. It hasn't come up once, but the game servers keep coming up and going down. Like they keep on testing changes and restarting the main servers, but still can't find the fix.

2. NA got nerfed drop rates
3. players complained, NC West staff negotiated a change with Korea
4. (not sure about the exact moment of this) NC West layoffs got rid of all the people on the Aion team that actually cared, including the ones that negotiated a change before
5. a patch (2.5?) came and introduced the drop issue that led to the decision to do a rollback
6. rollback undid the negotiated NA specific change and reverted to the nerfed world drops
7. since noone is left at NC West that gives a nyerk and NC Korea puts as little effort as possible into their Western servers, we are now stuck with it forever
that sounds more accurate...except in between 3 and 4 is when the updated drop rates happened and everything was copasetic.

The reasons you are all giving for the lack of drops is bs. They were working to most players expectations before the recent patch and server roll back. So clearly something changed, and the lack of any response from ncsoft is clear indication there is something going on that none of us are privy to.
My personal view is that they want the us server to die...but something is preventing them from pulling the plug completely, which makes me believe some kind of contract obligation or similar.

Im noticing a similarity with Aion NA and a person in a relationship who no longer wants to be in the relationship but is too cowardly to end it, so they are attempting to sabotage it to force the other person to end it first.

New Discord Server Launch & Update From NC America!

The discord channel was good idea to elicit engagement--kudo's on that, however as far as everything else...we'll believe it when we see it.
One question though, how will users be protected in the discord from hackers sending/posting fake invites, etc? Who will be moderating the discord and how often?
