Computer freezing after hitting "start".

Hello. After logging in and clicking "start" the splash screen pops up and then everything freezes. I've tried scanning the file, updating my drivers, installing it on a different drive, running in compatibility mode, updating directx. Nothing works. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

me too, it's so nyerking bad optimized. 

After 12 years we have the same problem as 2009. rubbish.

I have run into similar issues, and finally found the culprit for my problem.  I was able to actually play, but was randomly freezing/unfreezing.  My issue was Vangaurd anti-cheat running (Valorant third party program).  Once I killed that program, everything has been butter :P.  I hope this is also your problem, or something similar.
