The droprate of items (especially designs) is already so low (like really really low), having them limited to dungeon drops only is really going to cripple us. No designs = No new crafts, and the 2.0 update has so many wonderful new crafted items and sets, the designs of which can only be dropped.  The rarity of the designs is already going to cause them to be extremely expensive, make them even rarer by having them only drop in dungeons and well, RIP. Hopefully we either get some feedback about this or it's in the as of yet unreleased patch notes. I hope they don't copy pasta the KR update but since they really have a habit of doing that here on NA, I'm not too optimistic.

    It's too late for me to go back and grab the snip in game but he said when he was in Sanctum that they have modified the values. Now don't count on them to get it right the first time, but they did immediately adjust divine as well.

    They immediately started adjusting the Divine fort HP though, so that's a plus. It does show them directly responding to the community, so it is what it is.

    I cannot remember a time that we did not have an Asmo xform and a group show up to our lower/upper sieges to grief us for AP. What started all of this was Asmos griefing Elyos on the dux for AP then bragging about how much AP they were making off of it. Elyos got tired of it and this is the result, dug your own hole. You're literally blaming Elyos for a problem Asmos started. The thing that sucks for Asmos is now we can continue to cap the fort regardless and now more and more Elyos are showing up to defense because they're pissed at the Asmos.

  6. The forts were actually on a nice rotation, but asmo Xforms would show up every single siege and it was only a matter of time before elyos retaliated. 

    The faction that was carried by AP traded gear in the beginning, hacks and numbers is now crying non stop because the faction that was tired of being grieved for 8 months straight can fight back now.

  7. I really wish that NC would do a bit of a better job at advertising right now. I mean y'all know when 2.0 is coming out and a lot of playerbase is waiting for that to happen.  I've seen the social media posts and honestly they are not Aion's best means of advertising because people that don't even play classic yet alone never have continually dump on the game making it have an even more negative image. 

    Right now the game is in a stable state with decent releases that are not broken. We also have pretty decent events that encourage gearing and progression. It probably wouldn't hurt to come flat out and announce 2.0 on X date and here's a string of events on X dates that we want to help the community gear up for. Don't tell us a week or day before that 2.0 is coming out, use the anticipated release to your advantage. You'll get more subscriptions pre-2.0 by doing this.

    About the only thing in game that would possibly help besides advertising is raising the drop rates across the board. Private servers do this to help coerce people to play with lower populations. Also, restore the drops in Theobomos and the Asmodian equivalent. Taking gold drops or nerfing drop rates in an end level area is just absurd, we have a population and economy issue.

    Why should the faction inbalance be furthered just so you can pve?

    Not my fault the population has fallen in numbers and doesn't allow me to fully enjoy the instance, but if you want PM me and we can sync dredges to keep from getting an imbalance. Let me enjoy that PvP experience.

    That's not how that reads at all. It's not our fault there's not enough players to queue and if they're queuing then they are obviously geared up and ready to go but just tired of not getting pops. I mean I've queued and waited 20-30+ minutes too and I have even had a few no pops as well which most of the time on most days I'm in the first few groups to queue so it's not like I'm dodging pvp by any means.

    Plus if there's nobody to queue why not since I'll get my AP, quests and whatever in.

    I'd ignore that guy, he thinks the best way to get 1500 ap in half an hour is to AFK dredge and stigma shards aren't an issue. Kind of wondering what game he's actually playing at this point.

    Medals and enchantment stones are just going to continue to get worse with a low pop and nerfed drop rates. Even grinding new toons it seems like the open world drop rates are just garbage now. They need to make Theo great again :D

  11. Even in CST I feel like everything starts extremely late or is pushed back a bit too far. Most people I play with are in EST and the timing sucks for them, which is odd because that's where the servers are.

    They definitely need to expand the time windows, add more than one Tiak time and consider the possibility of adding the availability for players to run dredge all in one window. I understand timing is difficult to manage when you have a server for NA that is realistically covering all the way from Australia to EU.

    Currently there is a double AP weekend in progress so Dredge is absolutely worth doing.

    Trouble is it's hard to get in. We have this Catch 22 where teams insist on people being "geared" but of course nobody knows what  "geared' actually means because it's a value judgement which differs from person to person. So you end up with a lot of people no being able to get a game, therefore they don't get AP to work on their gear, it's a stupid circle.  Lots of players that should be in groups, end up going into QE which is chaotic, lots of AFK, and a good chance to loose, and you can queue for over an hour on the Elyos side, but still not get in.

     

    You can easily kill fort mobs for AP. I think they average about 60 AP per mob so just kill 25 mobs and you have 1500 AP. That takes a lot less than a half hour to do. Fort instances daily turn in is 1k-1.2k for uppers and you make AP by running the instance itself. Plenty of ways to gain AP.

    As far as being geared, 30e is insanely to get at this point in the game and base level +10'd kromede at worst case should be easily obtainable as well. Lvl 50 fabled weapons are debatable on ease of access depending on class. Low population is going to be harder to matchmake without static. I'm pretty geared and sometimes it's hard to find a pug even though I static one dredge a day at least. 

    There's several issues with dredge, not only just the queue system that we have requiring another party for entry, but the fact that we can't exhaust all runs in one window and the dredge times. I am in the CST time zone and I find the time window for 2/3rd dredge unreasonable. There's multiple ways to fix this and flex it for the community.

    Fix suggestions:

    Make all dredges able to be ran in one window, make a max queue time for entry to where you go into the 20m instance to finish if no competing faction queues (ten minutes max queue maybe?), extend and/or adjust hours.

    Proposed hours in CST: 

    1. 12pm-3pm

    2. 6pm - 9pm

    3. 12am - 3am

    (4?) 6am - 9am
