One thing people misunderstand, is increased drop rates cause prices on the broker to go up. This is because too many of the items that are dropped can be sold at the merchant for kinah, or the drop is actually kinah. That is pure inflation, there is way too much new kinah entering the economy. One of the fundamental issues in MMORPG design, is inflation. If you want to learn more then read chapter 4 of "Designing Virtual Worlds" by Richard Bartle. The section titled Closed or Open Economic Model where Bartle discusses the delicate balance between cash sources and sinks.

People say 30m hat is rich, then they forget the hundreds of millions you have to spend on enchanting gear. 30m for a hat is nothing. One of the biggest faults in Aion Classic is the manastone socketing failure rate. That can easily cost you hundreds of millions. I know several people that left Aion because they felt they could never get competitive gear due to manastone failures, yet that "feature" has never been fixed. It wouldn't surprise me if RNG failures were the main negative reinforcement that caused the lack of commercial success of Aion in North America. Americans expect higher quality which doesn't break, regardless if in real life or in a game when they are paying money for it.

Availability is a problem. eg. Clerics are struggling to obtain Splendor of Purification, a low level basic stigma. I am sure most classes have a similar stories.

Well I wont be buying another Daeva Pass unlock until the relic AP 150% is returned back to the way it was for the past 4mths. prior to the 2.5 patch.

They are too lazy to fix it, which is going to cause anger in a lot of players that are working on AP

AP relics have been giving 150% AP since Sep 28 2022 when they switched over to the "New & Improved Siel's Aura". All of a sudden, the new AP relic NPCs introduced in the 2.5patch break that feature we have become use to, and NCsoft can't be bothered to fix it, instead they would have us believe that it never existed, ie. it was a bug since Sep 2022. People want the feature back NCsoft, so fix it, don't ignore it.

Of course they knew. What happened is 2.5 introduced a new NPC type for AP relic exchange, which replace the previous multiple Shugo NPCs. That new NPC had not been set up to honor the Siel's Aura buff, that's all.

Oh we know that, but why let the bots cause hyper-inflation. Surely NCsoft could adjust the type of items dropped by the mobs the bots farm so they are not merchantable? That's how most new kinah is entering the economy, most new kinah should come from quest rewards, not the merchant.

The bots are crazy never seen so many as their are now. I would like to hear from someone at NCsoft as to why they allow so many bots to hyper-inflate the economy.

Low 300 is my normal ping. Never understood why they didn't put one of the International Classic server in Asia, they insisted on clustering them in Amazon Virginia, when they could spin up an instance in any of their global data centers and manage it from NA or wherever.

There would be a lot more items on the broker, but NCsoft insists on making event items not tradable where the non-event version is tradable. So people have inventories of items they would gladly sell that they are not going to use.

They will probably all fail too, you need about 50-100 manastones to do a 6 slot piece of gear, unless you are lucky.

The manastones and enchant stones from the event NPC and the Daeva Potential rewards should be changed to be tradable. People get stones which they are not going to use, so they should be able to trade them.

The Dredgion Blues quest gives a Plat medal reward. Of course you have to actually play to complete that quest, afk people will miss out.

What is Daeva Potential? What is the formula used to come up with the score? Is it meant to be some new form of discrimination used to reject people wanting to join groups?

This hasn't happened yet, neither the Event Pass unlock, or a refund of Quna so I can unlock it again, have occurred. Surely there can't have been that many people that purchased in the few hours before the rollback? I have had to open a Support Ticket to try and find out what is happening.

Mobs are dropping kinah for me, eg fort guards.

There are a couple of points I would like communication on. The Quna refund for people that made purchases in the time period between the end of the weekly maintenance, and the start of the rollback maintenance. The new AP relic exchange NPCs not honoring the 150% AP acquisition bonus in the Siel's Aura like the 2.4 relic exchange NPCs.

That's good isn't it? Starves the bots.

I just tested the core NPC with a Greater Ancient Crown, to rule our the rollback reward crowns, and it only gave 7200 AP. I noticed it's a new shugo, not the one from 2.4 so it may be a deliberate change or a bug with the new shugo.

My Chanter on Retail is only L80, everyone around is L85 lol.
