What's wrong with fort reset? Are the balaur not a valid target?

It's still utterly broken. I wanted to purchase a Greater Ancient Crown Box and which was 80 harvest coins, when I tried to purchase it said I didn't have enough Thanksgiving coins. Now when I go to Passrunerk it says I need 80 Thanksgiving coins, no mention of Harvest coins that it wanted before maintenance. Passrunerk is a Harvest Event NPC, why does it have several items which are Thanksgiving Event?

The Abyss is pink because one faction does all they can to foil the efforts of the other faction. This is counter productive. Nobody gets medals. This doesn't happen on the ground forts because at least 2 go vulnerable at a time so there is one for each faction. In other worlds, the Abyss siege schedules are poorly thought out. There should be 2 forts vulnerable at a time like the ground forts. Then more people would turn out for Abyss sieges. Atm many people think "What's the point?"

Just checked the brokers and there are 3 gold medals for sale at 1.5mill each. Before 2.0 came out they use to be about 500k and there were lots. When Aion Classic first came out you use to get medals as fort defense rewards, even from nearby enemy towers. Bring back those days, the current situation sux.

PvP is a lost cause. Silver and Gold medals are around 1.2million kinah and you need hundreds of them, for 40e of 50e sets. Sapphire is twice as expensive and you need over a thousand of them. How did NCsoft let it get to such a situation?

Yup, I agree. Bard was the most flexible of the later classes, there are already a majority of Physical damage classes 5 vs only 3 Magic classes, another Sin style Physical class is silly.

You forgot to mention how hard it is to get PvP gear. Try getting Sapphire medals when you live in a timezone which can't attend sieges because of work or school, or sleep.

Well several people warned when SL and IS merged that SL would become an Elyos dominant server.

Use the aion chat filter, it works well. Search these forums for instructions or Google it.

Simple fix, make it so you can roll Asmo and Elyos on the same account. They want people to buy two subscriptions to play both factions, which most people don't want to do.

A new class is an interesting idea. Still doesn't address the fundamental Aion Classic problem of massive gear inequality. Aion 4.x had the right idea making the Blood Mark set, which didn't require a group or alliance to obtain. Classic has nothing like that. I would have thought addressing inequality would be a priority over introducing a new class to gear up as well.

The medal supply is terrible, there are hardly any for sale on the broker. You use to be able to grind towers near forts to get silver and gold medals, and there was good players turnout for that. But in the interest of spoiling our fun, that was dropped as a fort defense reward, so medal supply tanked.

We need enchant stones to, well at least I do.

There is a shortage of most items that make the game playable. So many players left that the broker is almost useless. Most who left the past few months, haven't stopped playing Aion, they just stopped playing Classic. My routine now is I log on once a day, do Dredge, log off until the next day. There is no point working on gear, can't get enough medals. Don't like PvE or arenas. Dredge got capped at only once per day instead of 3x, which has to be the dumbest move.

Access to medals now is a joke, with no clear strategy to fix this. Forget about AP gear for most people, until Divine Coliseum Champion's gear comes out in a future patch.

Yeah it's a total pain now, you have to finish the L45 and L50 sigma sockets before he will give you the L52 quest.

Dredge use to be my main source of AP, and favorite instance, they ruined it.

I did a couple of tests. I ran Kromede's Trail 5 times in a row, with a L37 toon, normally I would have to empty stuff out of inventory before the last boss to make room. That didn't happen, after 5 KT runs; killing all mobs, inventory was only just over half full. Then I did a Taloc run, at L51 and it didn't even half fill inventory and I did a full clear looting all mobs. In short, the drop rate is terrible, kinah burn is also too high, the cost of skill books, manastones, forget about enchant stones, there are hardly any on the brokers. Those things will be linked to the bad drop rate. Bots all over the place in Theo and Inggison, my gut feel is there are more bots online at any given time than actual players. Nothing I put on the brokers sold after 3 days yet I was the lowest price. I also notices the EXP from campaign quests in Theo was about 2x that of the Inggison campaign quests, yet you need more EXP per level. A deliberate EXP nerf to make you burn up more subscription time. In short, it's a mess. Lucky I only bought a 3 day daeva pass.

I have done some tests and I am now certain that the drop rate now is far worse than it was before the 2.4update.

Anyone else think the drop rates are terrible again since the 2.4 update?

The Siel's Aura improvements are significant, especially the price reduction. I may subscribe again.

F2play won't help, and is not the point of Aion Classic. Aion is already F2play, and Aion Classic is a paid niche product to rewind back to different content. That's why I pointed out above that Aion Classic should be extended to 3.x and 4.x they are both great maps and instances. The subscription should be lower price too, $15/mth. is way to high, that's why poor people have flocked to other servers.

I think they need to take Aion Classic past 2.7 to either 3.x or even 4.x which in my opinion was the peak of Aion before gear complexity set in, and they started deleting maps like Sarpan.
