If you remember back to 2011 the Brigade General gear was not introduced until Aion 2.5 update.

Platinum medals are irrelevant, if you get some from a quest you just change them for Sapphire medals which are what you need for gear.

I see in the Aion Classic 2.0 release notes: The Elite Primus Pilus set is a PvP set for people who have completed their Elite Tribunus set or are looking for additional choices for their next Abyss equip. So does that mean in order to obtain the Elite Primus Pilus set, you have to have have a complete 50e set first?

When that Stormwing pet is dispatched via survey, from my recollection it's only one per account so make sure you accept it on your character that most needs the items it gives out as rewards.

One thing I forgot to mention, a simple but only partial fix for PvP gear inequality, would be to make ALL gear tradable on the broker, like most MMOs. The impact would be immediately felt, and a great improvement to the game. The gear inequality problem peaked in Aion retail, that's one of the reasons many moved to Aion Classic to get a fresh start on gear, but now so much time has passed in Classic that gear is once again an insurmountable gap for new players/characters.

The PvP is the worst part of Aion, because of the gear inequality. The PvP instances etc. are fine, it's the failure to address the gear issue that has cost them sales. Aion encourages PvP gear snobs that won't let others join their group. It's a real mess.

The Manastones in the login event are not tradable. My glad got a Magic Boost +25 stone, utterly useless.

It's already been answered in the announcement section, it's a label problem that can be ignored, the bundles work for Elyos just fine.

What a silly statement, given that Aion Classic itself is a repeat of original Aion. The entire world works on repeating things that people like, whilst discarding the things they don't.

True, there is far more money to be made in good PvE than imbalanced PvP.

Aion use to have "Fast Track" PvE server.

What they need is a soloable L50 instance where you can get some AP to buy stigmas.

Aion doesn't need F2P. If WoW can thrive on a $15/mth. subscription since inception, so could Aion, if NCsoft would fix all the problems the community keeps posting about over and over for years, eg. failure rates, equipment inequality, having to run the same instance hundreds of times for one piece of gear to drop etc. One of the biggest issues in the game is the bad RNG that effects almost everything, people are sick of failure.

This is the Aion Classic forum, there is no Aethertech class.

They are not going to create a new server for 2.0, it's coming to Siel anyway.

It didn't work for Aion Retail why would it work for Classic? Retail has less online F2P users than Classic.

Bonus weekends only highlight the structural problems in the game, they don't fix them. Gear inequality has always been the downfall of Aion.

I have been playing Aion since 2009, and one thing I have noticed is there is hardly any decent gear for sale on the brokers compared to 12years ago. eg. I can't remember the last time I saw a Zap weapon. Something has dramatically changed compared to the original Aion, and I like to know from NCsoft what they did.

Conspiracy theory absolutely. I just finished a QE dredge where 3 people were afk, they arrived minutes apart, and you are trying to convince me they were all spies.

Nice conspiracy theory, in reality the reason so many people AFK in dredge is they get 500AP for doing so. Take that away and the problem is solved.

Correct, Gladiators don't use Block as a rule because they don't carry a shield.

If you form a group instead of QE you shouldn't have that problem.

Because AIon Classic on the North American servers is an international audience not just American, there should be 4 Dredge sessions per day at 6hr intervals, and 2 Tiak sessions at 12hr intervals to cater for the other time zones.

I agree, I see little benefit to dredge being limited by factions, for me it's just Green team vs Blue team.
