That's a terrible way to make kinah. Even Crimsom Katalam kinah boxes are less RNG than Luna kinah boxes. But you have to actually work for those instead of afk.

Lol, it's just added to a daily quest most people do anyway. I certainly do it every day so the change means nothing.

There are lots of L80 toons running Contaminated Underpath for EXP since 7.7 came out. Add to that the toons running for Luna. So the instance must have gotten more popular. Normally when I am on, there are about 50 other toons in Contaminated Underpath. Will be interested to see if that goes down.

Perhaps they want people to move to Classic, it's a monthly revenue stream for NCsoft.

Bots are not very social. A legion full of bots is not much of a legion.

Don't make wrong assumptions. I have been playing since Aion came out in 2009. I had 30 toons running at one stage across 4 accounts, both Asmos and Elyos. I decided to quit the game just before 7.7 came out because I was sick of spending hours getting luna each day, farming genesis crystals, stellin, Blood Marks, and Titan coins over and over. I managed to delete all my toons except one on DN which was the Brigade General and couldn't be deleted without disbanding the legion first. Whilst I was waiting 24hrs. for the legion to disband the 7.7 patch came out, and I saw that all the coins I was sick of farming, were obsolete, replaced with EXP marks. Talk about timing! My toon on DN has a billion kinah, mostly from events. My new toon on KT has nothing.

It's the same for everyone so the 300% is irrelevant. It might as well be 0%. All 300% does is appeal to the impatient. As I have pointed out twice now, you still need the revenue stream to buy the extractors regardless of how quickly you got the EXP.

You need 570k kinah per 175k EXP you earn. Luna would be lucky to give you 50mill a week, if you have several alts, you might get one that has a 75% chance kinah box a week, and there are lots of other things to spend Luna on like tuning, instance entry, resurrections. Most of the kinah around was earned well before 7.7 came out, and the broker takes 15% away. They deleted the kinah bags you could buy each week in 7.5 with Experience Marks. Now we rely on events for kinah. It's a new paradigm now.

Yeah, but there is no point bot farming for EXP if you can't afford the extractors. It's a massive kinah sink with no obvious solution. There is nowhere on Inggison to farm any reasonable amount of kinah to match the EXP rate. Atm lots of players have kinah to burn, but the sinks outnumber the sources, so the kinah in circulation would start to dry up if EXP got too easy to obtain.

Even if we had auto farm, people would still complain because extractors are very expensive, and most mobs don't drop kinah.

The 100% weekend allowed me to roll an SM on KT and get it up to L 80, so now I have a toon on both servers. Some people just don't like to work for EXP.

That is what I interpret as asking for sympathy. Being lazy and not using the snowballs is their own fault.

You had 4 days warning to use up your snowballs, and didn't make the effort to do so. I had zero snowballs left on the 13th. when they expired, because I read this thread. No sympathy from me.

I think the solution to people having a massive number of accounts to farm luna etc. is to change the business model from F2P back to P2P or B2P. If it's P2P then make it affordable eg. no more than $5US/mth. The idea is not to price gouge like the Prestige pass does, but make the money on volume. As for all the programming suggestion, NCwest are not the programmers. The programmers are in Korea, so there is no point suggesting game changes that require coding on an NCwest forum.

Well I have been buying things from the meloon merchant that is always there each week. I managed to +15 my legendary Dark Talon wings to ultimate, with enchant stones bought from the meloon NPC.

F2P is what caused the rise of bots. If it costs zero to open as many game accounts as you want, then people are going to abuse it. Back in 2009 Aion use to cost real money to play. I forget how much I paid, something like $10US per month. Back then you could transfer the kinah from bots quite freely between players. Who cares if some accounts have 60bill kinah, it's not like it's circulating inflating prices making it hard for other players. I use to play on the EK server, and the amount of kinah in circulation was a tiny fraction of that on KT or DN, no idea how much people had stashed away doing nothing. The prices on the broker were way less than that on KT or DN. The point being is that the economy adapts itself to how much currency is actually in circulation, not how much is being hoarded.

As long as the Event NPC remains so we can spend Event coins that sounds reasonable. Why does the Event NPC still sell Katalam Blood Marks?

I have exactly 1 toon. I do quests for XP, including Luna instance, take a couple of hours max. Yes the repetition is boring. I do the daily PvP instances, and Demaha altars. Can't do fort sieges because my PC crashes.
