How do we get gold medals?

by helping your faction win a "upper" fort seige. you also have to pray the winning legion BG would be willing to hand out medals ONE AT A TIME. stay in the league of alliance might help, cause once they traded you one, they can boot u out, and no chance of double dipping.

well it is a bit different on classic.

They removed the extra rewards that the owner guild gets for a sucessful defence. Instead of that they increased the overall rewards for defending/capturing a fortress.
Back in the old days, you could get gold medals from any siege if you were in the top bracket.

Lower forts gave 1 gold medal in top bracket.
Asteria/Roah gave 2 gold medals in top bracket.

Inner forts gave 3 gold medals in top bracket.
And Divine, which we do not get, also gave 3 gold medals but the bracket was much bigger, and the AP gain from the boss itself was massive.

And then we can talk about dredgion quest, the blood crusade bundle and all the AP dungeons.

NCSoft always has to remove some of the good things. They should call this Modified Aion Classic,  lol.
