Subscription based isn't the issue per say, its the level of commitment that a company owes to the playerbase on charging a monthly subscription. NCsoft as a company, does not commit to NA. It hasn't for years. The reason why a lot of us were on board with paying a monthly sub, was that to charge a monthly sub means genuine interaction and engagement from the company. With retail version, we experienced exactly what NC KR does. The hope was if they were to charge a monthly sub, they would actually go back to how things were 2009-2012 era, where GM's/CSM's were far more active and engaged. The fact that NC KR charges a monthly sub but continues to neglect NA as if it's a F2p business model, is the concern. Yes, Aion Classic is on its downfall. We are here as retail was when 5.x came out, and it only took 1 year cause Korean business concepts is nyerk-tier. Things may not go back up, but NCKR really needs to get the ego out of their ass and just realize how to conduct business with the rest of the world and not their shoebox sized country. We don't blame NC NA, we fully recognize who it truly is, that has consistently killed their own product because they live in 1962.

I personally have done this. A thing to remember is how forts work, as well as dredge/tiaks. If you can hit and reliably win in those, as well as attend fort sieges and perform, you can make a good bit of AP/day. 2 Dredges/Tiak/Arenas/forts/1-2 hours of pvp and I would be netting 50k-80k/day average.

Or you can pvp to pvp and not care about rank. It's not until ~5 star that it becomes an issue, and unless you're hoarding rank, just go derank and have some fun. AP itself is handed so freely right now.

@Rin Do you know if the whole Daeva Pass not resetting after maintenance was intended? Or is this a bug.

@Rin I have the design already used for the Taha craft, will it change to 30 even after being used?

So, we dont put up the HHoM on daeva pass like KR did, kay. We mess up the taha craft, kay. but seriously, we dont even have the heliotrope designs which is a large part of master tier crafting? @Rin can we please check in why we are missing so much content at this point?

@Rin can you ask why they ninja nerfed and removed this? It's not even in the patch notes anymore. A lot of people were excited to finally get their Taha weapon this morning.

If the HHoM is not on the daeva pass, god bless whatever future is left. First time in a year, lapse in daeva pass, make it a banger pls. Make it worthy for people to want to come back and play.

The Pin system has been in place for over 10 years. If you cannot remember the pin you made, that is something you need to reach out to support about.

Title and weapon, as well as armor set for a few classes, allows people that are returning or creating a new account to start off with something that will effectively let them play, without requiring them to spend months to get some gear to play catch up. It's an outdated set, but perfect enough to let people work on starting the new gear content. Also, Fenris/Mira Title is best perm title in game right now(aside from the 12 characters that got the noble DP-S from first time event), and since the playerbase is hardgated from being able to complete the quest line reasonably, having that title would bring more value for someone to continue playing. KR has received it prior to 2.x, that too is also a demoralizing aspect for those who have been continuing to play. Aion Classic is soon to die, and tbh NCSoft is aware of this, Classic is only serving as a cash grab to fill in before they launch their next few products. To answer your question though, yes I would be.

Use Dagger Mainhand, Sword or Mace Offhand. Ensure both have +Attack and +Crit modifiers. Ensure one has 19% attack speed. Ensure one has accuracy. Attack speed does not stack, whichever weapon has the highest value is the one that will be used. Slot crit only until 500(with Food + Scrolls) if you do not plan on PvPing. Come 2.x You may need ~600ish but the increase in crit scrolls and chanter buffs will give you that. Everything else should be Attack 5s. Get 40e or 50e as your PvE set. You will gain far more damage, as well as they offer great accuracy (40e -- you may not need to socket any at all), or crit (50e). For survivability, you are a Gladiator. You do not need to socket anything defensive, you will be able to survive anything in the game with no issues. You want to output damage and only need to focus on that.

Seriously, upon 2.x Launch, put this in the daeva pass. We waited too long and population has dropped, capitalize on whatever population will come back for the 2.x drop, and put this in the daeva pass. It's literally the last ace we can have. @RinPlease shoot this up, announce it 1-2 weeks prior with the 2.x announcement. After 2.x drop, game will be officially on the forever decline. Just please, put this in, and recognize what it may do for what little longevity we have left.

You say youve played the original game back when, but your response suggests otherwise. NA isn't changing and updating items that KR doesn't create/implement. Chanter isn't the only class gated from extendable weapons pre-50. Pre-50 you shouldnt even be worried about extendables either. Chanter doesn't start to become the class it is until 42-45. Aint no sense at staying 42-45. Just spend a couple hours and get 50 and enjoy the fact that you don't need any gear for people to want you in group, just that you press 3-5 skills at most.
