As much as i hate bots at least the economy improves for players and items are more readily available.They could add back in the old pink quests that rewarded manastones of your choice and the atreian passport was also a good idea. You cannot nerf droprates too such low levels with a population of maybe 1k players its just insane and going too drive players away. We are paying 15 dollars for a 14 year old game and the rate of fixes by this company is disgraceful this region has been ignored for years and instead of acting swiftly like most companys they drag their feet on fixes.
  2. @RinIt really isnt suprising people being upset and frustrated.This is afterall a 14 year old game fixes and Qol changes should be rolled out much much faster.Customers are forgiving when somethings new,this sort of action has been happening across ncwest games for years so people are going to be a little bit angry with those in charge we are literally paying for a game that takes forever to get anything fixed. Also while we are at it still no word on Awakening pass for all players.I would suggest if it is your bosses in korea holding things up they actually read the forums here because this game is dead. And adding overpriced cashshop items is not the way too win over the community,
  3. This is the biggest problem with the game gearing for pvp to be able to even do content be it questing and have a fighting chance or participate in pvp without being 1 shot. Game design is flawed when you need to stay lower level to farm Guards for maximum AP.I worked out for the full 30 elite set and stigmas your looking at approximately 1.1+ million AP. Now for example if the rate was 150 AP a guard not the 70 odd you are still looking at 6700 kills of guards if you can only farm 25k AP a day, your looking at 44 days of sitting at low level to get a very basic set while those who have kept playing will be even further ahead. There are no pvp gear catchups and zero pvp quests that award gear,stigmas and accessorys apart from that 1 helm at 50 there is nothing in a pvp orientated game. Not every player can dedicate themselves to every dredge,siege,or tiak.They refuse to lift AP on abyss mobs,they wont let gear be bought and traded so as soon as you hit 55 goodluck trying to get AP for gear let alone the several hundred k for stigmas.They refuse too add AP amulets so unless you want to sit at low level farming goodluck enjoying pvp content. Nothing will change look at every thread and tell me whats been changed to make the game better apart from content that was already in Aion during original release.Its like groudnhog day again they lose thousands of players during original then again now and the playerbase is still again begging for them to listen but everything takes far too long to change while the game becomes less populated. As someone stated in another thread this game should be a case study in business managemnt courses on how not too run a game.
  4. As a player who has supported this game financially in a decent way your awakening pass is just a kick in the face too every player that stayed and supported this game. Your support staff will refuse to move 20 odd crowns onto my main toon that i bought and paid for through multiple passes and a Return player who has done and paid nothing gets a anuhart set and 3 pieces of 40 ELITE pvp gear worth hundreds of thousand of AP like SRSLY. Im sorry but the way you are treating players that have stayed and supported the game financially is just a joke,im sure many others feel ripped off after staying and paying and you exclude a huge chunk of players by this latest update. How many freaking years does it take for those in charge be it ncwest or korea to actually read the 5000000thousand plus reasons/complaints why people have LEFT your game for you guys to start doing things better?Im serious what does it take, do you not want MONEY for the longterm or happy to get a few hundred dollars and players quit? So dissapointed in this pass and your refusal still to help the whole playerbase do your bosses in korea even see the complaints about how the game is run in NA? Rant over nothing will change i literally want to give you money but you do nothing too deserve it.

If they actually cared about the population and new, return and existing players all players should of recieved the gear boost one character per account this would of benefited every single player. And you really could of gone that bit extra and given players a full 30 pvp set at least,while it isnt the best at least it would of helped and shown you care about players. Not every player can make it too sieges and get lots of AP for gear,how can you begin to pvp when at least 90% of the population is by now geared and you give players 1 bit of gear what a big help. You also reduced AP in multiple zones yet again in a pvp game not that the zones have many people to even pvp against anymore. The same ridiculous game flaws exist for game marketed to this region.We do not have a population like korea whereby you could actually pvp in a pvp game to get decent Abyss points instead players are mostly relegated to Farming guards for 140 AP over 1million AP for the full 30 set grinding over 10k guards to get it how any developer thinks this is fun defies logic. And finally@RIN its really frustrating that either korea or the bosses at NCWEST havent learnt from past mistakes and made pvp /pve gear far easier to obtain instead its same as release.As a player who has spent a decent whack of money with your company over the years i refuse to give anymore you say your listening but its not reflected in game changes what so ever.I dont expect change because 12 years has taught me that you guys just dont understand your market at all.

The game is not doing well when you wait 2 hours for a quick entry Dredge group,even back in original release ques popped superfast and Tiki ques are no different.I think some may pop in for 2.0 but i think the numbers will fall again and only the geared 50s and whales will be left. Apart from reshanta most zones are just ghost towns not a sign of a healthy and active MMO,people are having too beg and even some paying for help with campaigns that is a good indicator that probaly only alts of 50s are even leveling till 2.0. Gear drops,grinds for pvp gear lack of drops and most of the community now set in their ways to even want new players because to hard helpingwill see the game dry up fast and management team that wont make things better same as original Aion no lessons have been learned just in my view another cashgrab for a dying game. Hard too attract any new or return player when they see the gear grinds ahead of them and most legions are only taking geared people to instances or they invite to legion just for numbers and promptly ignore you.
  7. All good ideas as you pointed out retail is dead.Therein lies the problem ncsoft have had over 12 years too repair that version but insist on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. The company and those in charge simply dont want to invest any money or time into fixing a lot of issues players have,If you read every game board thread, reddit all the reviews are terrible,yet the company simply doesnt care.Instead of having a thriving game they seem content to rely solely on a few whales. Yesterday for me was a great example 2 hours in Que for a quick entry dredge and over a hour for Tiki no thriving game has que times like this. The interaction and support from ncwest staff is shockingly lacking they are not that visible on forums,6 months ago before i qui for a while i personal messaged kibblez and they didnt even have the time or consideration too reply.If i send a question/complaint in a game like WOW you are always answered that is the type of community alienation that happens with Aion. This game is Tanking hard its only the dieghrd geared 50s left no new player is going to last long when they see the gear gaps they face in pvp and pve and the Daeva pass is way overpriced and they still refuse to make the items account bound and sellable another sore point. All these suggestions not one has even seen a CM or GM just pop into to say they have even read the thread really says it all.They might not implement any of the suggestions but to not even just say theve seen it is the most frustrating aspect of this companys community interactions.

When the developers finally allowed pvp gear to be bought and sold it was one the best decisions made,making gear more accessible too the entire playerbase was a huge help.This game declines started with ridiculous Enchanting and tempering levels, making gear easier to obtain was not a bad thing. People say how easy level 30 Elite is to get,however thats not true it will cost you over 1million AP to acquire a full set of armor,wep and accesorys,even during double AP at 140 AP a kill which diminishes as rank your looking at well over 10 thousand kills to get a basic set. Allowing people to sell their old gear without those stupid passes and allowing players to put Abyss gear in their own warehouses would help a lot.Not every player is able to siege and be awarded massive amounts of AP,no new or returning has a hope against players now if you continue to ignore the gearing process for pvp and even pve. The refusal by your team not to let us even store pvp items in account warehouse is one reason why at least for myself i will likely quit after my Aura runs out as someone who has supported this company financially over the years you continue to make things as hard as you can for players and dont understand that mindlessly killing mobs is not by any definition fun. While id like to think you are listening the second time round,i dont think you are and far too many mistakes have already been made.

When they finally added pvp gear that could be bought it was one of the best things too happen,allowing players to access gear easily.They could fix the issues now with a few things. 1.Allow pvp gear to be sold and traded. 2.Allow gear even to be traded via account warehouse would be a big help. 3.Lower the cost of 30/40 pvp gear by at least half would help players get geared much faster.We simply do not have the population of korea whereby pvp is rampant and you can get Tons of AP.As ive previously stated while double AP weekends help its still a massive grind to get the gear even without ganks and nobody else farming a fort. 4.Add the codes that allowed players too buy silver/gold coin boxes with a chance of giving pvp gear. There is so much they could do too be more helpful,i want to give this company money as i enjoy openworld pvp but the grind is boring as hell its just not fun Farming guard npcs to get geared. On another subject they need to make campaigns soloable again its getting impossible too find groups for the last few hard ones.And indratu legion really should say group quest on it,many players wont know if you use the teleport its extremely hard to get to the place due too elite mob density. They should let the Npc port you there multiple times so you can get groups.
  10. @RinHi while these AP weekends are a help will you consider making them run for a week,the problem is if a faction control lower forts how can any player sub 45 farm AP? All this week elyos control all lower forts making it impossible for a Elyos to even farm AP,having only 2 days too farm is a very limited window if the faction wont let them turn baluar or asmo. Also will you guys ever consider adding gear passes/wraps for a limted time so we can use up Crowns and AP on characters we are not going too play and players could also sell unwanted gear which would also help people. Its really frustrating that something we either earnt or paid for cannot be stored in account warehouse and you guys refuse too transfer items to characters.It really shouldnt matter players earnt the items regardless of which character we would like to use them on. AS too double drops will you guys consider increasing Zapiels spawns and hugely increasing drops so at least some Boe weapons might hit broker because theres nothing ever on there.Thanks

The problems as i see it and many may disagree,however they have probaly been playing 9 months during the peak and these players are geared. 1.Quest rewards are just a joke,i'll use wow as a example dailys give half decent rewards and let players catch up somewhat. 2.So Players tell you just hit 50 thats when the game starts,except every group almost wants geared and experienced,how many posters here truly help players form groups and allow them too catch up? 3.Pvp gear for NA at least level 30 gear is way way overpriced in terms of being able too gain AP.Lets be honest fort guards during a Double ap weekend start at 140 AP kill which diminishes as you rank and level unless you suicide to stay lower which is simply stupid game design that you have too deliberately stay low level. 4.I have already suggested 100% AP boost amulets for 40 and lower and people call it pay2win,how is it pay2win when most of the server already has their gear sets,not counting all the fort carry feeds being sold already. It would allow new and returning players a chance to farm AP faster which is a huge issue,if you rift to elthen or asmo equivalent there is literally hardly any players to pvp against,look at korea servers you can pvp all the time and earn decent AP doing what this game is supposed be about openworld pvp not killing thousands of Npcs for AP. 5>Again gear drops this was a glaring issue for years upon first release and the same thing has happened again,players shouldnt need to be doing 100-900+ runs simply to get a extendable to compete and be considered geared. 6.I see tons of posts saying give us skins blah blah, so lets stand around looking good when theres virtually no open world pvp happening,makes no sense. 7.Since they wont even add gear wraps/passes to help your own toons or allow pvp gear be put into warehouse,why is any new or return player going to bother when they are already at a massive disadvantage.I have tons of crowns id like to use too buy pvp gear for the char i finally settled on as my main but they wont move them,which is stupid i earnt paid for them doesnt matter which toon i want too use them. 8.Campaigns were all good and well 6 months ago,goodluck getting groups too complete anything now and there should be way more dark blue quests to help leveling. I havent seen a GM even reply too anything in this thread no different too Aions entire life they want players money but they ignore players and dont implement half of the things suggested,the business model of Aion NA is utterly depressing when the game could be made so much better.I love the excitement of openworld when you see that red dot,but meh game hasnt improved in the slightest second time round which really is a shame.

This is a huge issue for all players.The point of any game is too see Gear and character progression.My legion mates told me many dont see a glad geared until they have Bakarmas spear.When i read about players doing hundreds of runs and getting nothing it just turns players off playing a class and the game overall. Not all players can drop half a billion on their weapon,all the issues that have been raised in multiple posts are all the same issues that were a problem back in 2009 poor droprates and lack of character progression. Droprates and even craftable weapons for certain classes are overlooked this time round again making you undesirable to groups for Pvp. Before 2.0 drops they should consider the following for at least 2 weeks prior. Double droprate event across all dungeons and world bosses to help people gear for 55. Double AP everyday for 2 weeks prior. Double Experience everyday for 2 weeks. Another crown event for all players 40 and lower for logging in. As much as i like classic at least in retail getting weapons was far easier all those event with weapons that could be sold was a huge boost for many classes,and you can say its pay2win but its not any different to what is happening right now AP feeds, gear feeds,even accounts being bought, all progression can be bought.And when a game makes getting gear so hard to obtain people will get desperate and buy it.
  13. I dont really think the droprate for gear is fine when players can do a 100+or more runs and not get a weapon that is not fine. As to AP amulets i hardly think they are massively pay2win most players are 50 now and have 50 elite or 40E,adding amulets even for use by players 45 and lower only would give them a much needed boost to at least farm a starter pvp set.As i stated to even farm a full 30 elite set armor,accessories and weapon is hundreds of thousands of AP and even with event buff your only getting 140 AP per kill on guards which also stupidly diminishes as you rank up taking even longer. Since we dont have a population like Korea whereby pvp is abundant at all levels and people can earn decent AP then farming guards is the only path for new or returning players who want a set before working on 50/40 elite. As too stigmas and skills something should be done asap,its difficult to be effective with your class if your missing major stigmas and skills because they are not available due too nobody farming the instances anymore and lack of players around in low level zones getting drops as they level. Eitherway we are all entitled to our views and at this stage i have very very little faith in our NA team implementing things anymore,experience dealing with na has taught me that.
  14. Some glaring issues i see for any new or returning player. Due too low population and most people now at 50. Skill Books and Stigmas are in ridiculously short supply,there should be a vendor or Event leading up too 2.0 launch. I saw a inescapeable judgment go for 20 Million Slashing Winds 10 million plus ,new players cannot compete with that same as Stigmas high demand ones are rarely on broker. Group Content a lot of campaigns do require groups too complete it takes hours to get groups for quests and dungeons,who wants to play in a empty MMO.These end campaign quests should be made so they can be done solo,since the population is unlikely to ever recover. We have had loads of Experience Events and also double AP so why still refuse to put in 100/200% Experience and AP amulets into shop permanently? Also AP amulets why not increase ones for a hour like before even with 100% weekends it takes hundreds of thousands of AP to grind out a basic 30 elite set. Gear drops while im all for running dungeons players want too see gear progression,running any dungeon whether it be FT or other dungeons simply to get a Extendable which is a given for pvp is not enjoyable and just makes people quit,and again at 50 players hit the paywall because a lot dont have half a billion kinah to drop on a weapon. I was really hoping Korea would of learnt from its original release and fixed the issues that saw the game bleed thousands of players in the first few months,there was a lot of opportunity here to make this game sustainable with some minor tweaks before its release yet they are always done after the games lost players it makes no sense when it was preventable.

I recently came back after a 6 month break and this game is so empty in the leveling zones.I went rifting into asmo side and was lucky even to find a Bot and while we all hate bots i actually view it as a way of gauging activity if Bots arent even being used then people obviously dont see any point in the game anymore.And i dont condone botting or any form of cheating. Why are players going to come back or get new ones they are so far behind in terms of gearing, and finding groups for the elthen/heiron campaigns is just painful.Another issue is stigamas/skillbooks even these you cant find anymore compared too 6months ago. And while double AP weekends help your still looking at grinding 10k+ mobs to even get the 30 Elite set because theres no pvp for lower levels.And still ncsoft have done nothing about the cost of gear you cant have a pvp game when theres nobody in the zones to pvp against and grinding thousands of mobs is not fun.The level 30 gear should be so much lower in cost. The gear drops are still a issue for people and running instances a 100 times+ to get your Bis weapon is not fun nor is handing over hundreds of millions of kinah. I dont know when 2.0 is being released it will be interesting to see if theres any improvement but for any new/returning player all the leveling zones are a wasteland with nobody around hardly ideal for a mmo.

This was a issue way back when original aion was released and is still.Every class like glads,sins and even clerics get a extendable weapon yet chanters get nothing until level 50 why is it like this? Why cant chanters either get a drop from Fire temple like glads or sins or a craftable /gold drop one? What logic goes into leaving out 1 class and making them be at a disadvantage until level 50.I know this is unlikely to change since game devs dont use logic with design but its really dissapointing that this wasnt changed for the classic release. @Rin it would be really nice to know why you guys think chanters dont also deserve a extendable and the logic to leave out a class from obtaining one before 50.Thanks.
