  1. ....This is so people can use the old insignias... The issue was fixed. You can even convert the current insignias down into those apprentice ones if you want. Though you can't convert them back up, iirc. I'll double check later but there's no issue with the insignias now, otherwise this thread would have still been active.
  2. I do play the game, I have been playing it since the day it was launched. Like I said, the filter has been working for me so I haven't seen a single kinah spammer since the first week of the game. The bots aren't nearly as bad in Gelk/Inggi as they could be. If you saw the state of bots in regions like Korea, you'd understand what I mean. Once you get to Gelk/Inggi your best bet for leveling is not going to be doing random Quests, it will be doing Udas/Lower Udas with a duo or trio and killing all the mobs. Even without exp events, doing UT/LUT at least once a day you could get to 55 pretty quickly. Doing Campaigns won't hurt but they won't give as much EXP as the ones prior to Gelk/Ingg do. I have been making kinah via crafting and gathering so... it's not just BTHM sell runs, though that is certainly the easiest way. As for new players, yes, the situation is very rough for a new player. Everything is more expensive than it should be and the cost of skills alone is like 20 mil by lvl 45. I'm aware of this because I've been funding some friends of mine with their new chars. Stigmas are ridiculous and there are fixes being implemented for it on KR but who knows how long until we get those changes. And believe me, I'm a cleric main so I know what you mean about the cost of cleric stigmas. The cost has always been pretty absurd, even during the start of Classic they were the most costly stigmas and back then kinah was worth triple what it is now. I'm curious why you're talking about a (DOUBLE) sub? Are you including the Daeva Pass? That's entirely optional. I've only bought it 3x since the servers opened... It's a great source of kinah sometimes though, for the enchantment stone boxes tend to contain tradeable stones. You don't have to buy it in order to have a good experience though, it's not like a premium or anything that grants extra entries and all that nonsense. Usually it's cosmetics and some enchantment stones and a 30d pet that gives balic mats when you feed it a fudge-ton of these special meats that drop from bosses, and like one motion/emotion card, oh and maybe a couple crowns? But unless you really want the skins or the motions/emotions I wouldn't say there's any real need to buy it. But to get back to the original topic, Soul Healing is pretty pricey and they should definitely lower it. I know people sitting with a couple million kinah worth in soul healing fees that they're not paying and it's honestly sad that it costs that much just for dying a couple times in PvE. I understand the game needs some kind of kinah sink, but with NA's economy right now I think reducing the cost of Soul Healing wouldn't be a bad thing.
  3. Next time I record/livestream I can link it if you'd like.~ I have literally no botspam, ever. Have not had any since the filter was released by Yoress in like the first week of Aion Classic release. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you, though I'm sure there may be some reason, but I don't know the inner workings of the filter, only that it has always worked for me.
  4. Honestly the only thing I can think of is greed. Even on KR there are no permanent pets in the shop. The only ones you can get that are permanent are from time limited events and promotions like the 90Day Aura subs.
  5. While this won't be of much help right now, unless NCSoft implements it in a lower patch for us, they have tried to "fix" this issue as of just this past maintenance on Classic Korea. They implemented various quests that reward certain selections of these lower level stigmas so that people can get them without having to grind them. I plan on looking into it some more, maybe with a new character, in order to find out where and which ones are available.~
  6. I've never heard of them doing this, so I'd highly doubt they'd be willing to implement something like this now. And inventory expansion tickets are only good for 2 usages so that wouldn't be a viable option in comparison to bag pets. They have given out tickets before via the 90 Day Siel's Aura sub, but not for a while now if I remember correctly. You could always ask support but I'm pretty sure they'll just tell you they can't help you. It'd be more likely for them to simply add more temporary bag pets to the Quna shop. When a friend of mine missed out on only one of the weekly surveys for the shards for one of the bag pets, support basically told them they can't do anything. So if you didn't get those pets on the character you want them on, then you're most likely out of luck.
  7. While soul healing is certainly still expensive, this issue has also been somewhat resolved. They boosted our drops and kinah acquisition by quite a bit when they revamped Siel's Aura a few months ago. Now you can do a bit of grinding and make some kinah, do some quests as well if you'd like, and you shouldn't have too much trouble paying SS. Lower level it's obviously more rough, but there's a lot of kinah to be found in quests you might normally skip to level. Also, about the kinah sellers, there's a fix that will eliminate them from LFG, and I'm sure someone would be happy to share it. I haven't seen a single kinah spammer since day one of the servers. As for bots, they're not even that bad compared to other regions. For the most part you can easily get quests done without having to fight bots for the mobs you need.
  8. It was fixed. They just didn't post here about it.

    Udas Set

I know this is a bit of an older post, however, I know some info about this so I wanted to give you a response!~ The devs later realized this was an issue and there is a fix for it but it wasn't implemented on Korea until this latest patch introducing the new Executioner class. The fix being that the quest version of the items now works with the set effect for the set you loot from the dungeon, and vice versa~
  10. Didn't intend to come off as snarky. It's simply that they are two different games. They share the Aion title but that is where their similarities end really. Also, if your character is naked anyway, why not simply make a new one on Classic if you'd like to try it? Leveling is quick enough that you won't have to spend too much time getting to 50-55.
  11. Well, I don't know if we'll get a nice event like we had last year, but we got one that seems to just be a survey with a 3day snowman emote card, a 3 day title (Move Spd 3%, flight spd 3%, att Spd 3%, and cast spd 3%), An admin boon, 5000 stigma shards, 2 Golden Dice, and a box with a reset scroll for Besh or UT/LUT.... I'm assuming this is the Snowman's Gift event they mentioned in the update notice for today.
  12. I'm going to include a link to a website that has detailed information about the current development path of Aion Classic, I know that's not quite what you asked for, but it's good info nonetheless. The current patch in KR could be considered 2.8 or maybe even 2.9. On the 21st there will be some more improvements and new things added in. Classic Onstage <- This should give you a lot of info, you'll just need to translate the page which is easy enough using a pc web browser.
  13. I'd also like to know how you think this might work? x'D "Can I use my old Live server char for Classic" was one of the first thing so many friends who stopped playing years ago asked me when I first told them about Classic...
  14. I know they mentioned that balic mats will drop in the new event Twisted Draupnir Cave, hopefully it will be level 50+ balic mats that drop and not the lower level ones. But yes, the overall droprate for balic materials is just plain awful.
  15. As someone who currently possesses both a 40e set and a Stormwing set, the Stormwing set's overall stats are muuuuuch higher than the 40e. To the point that my 40e gets shredded like paper even against players who aren't considered "geared". I've been honestly debating d/e'ing the 40e lately because it's doing nothing but taking up inventory space. Despite Stormwing's lack of pvp def, it has much more MR and the base stats just make it so much better than the 40e from what I've personally experienced. So, no, I wouldn't say that the 40e is anywhere near on par with Stormwing and 55e.
  16. Myself and it seems, many many others are also having this issue. Guessing the authorization servers are uh on the fritz perhaps?
  17. Not always~ It varied by patch. I played on both NA and EU and during some patches NA was arguably more P2W, versus other patches it was the opposite. It truly just depended on how each region handled the patch.
  18. Yeaaa, we don't even need enchant stones.... We need manastones.... Similar but not the same guys!~ :C
  19. Despite the many glaring issues, if, and this is a big IF, you can find people you enjoy playing with, you can enjoy the game to some degree. But yea, most the things the others have said are entirely valid. U-U
  20. New/Returning players definitely have it rough. The gear gap is always an issue any time you join a game like Aion after launch. Thankfully we do have a couple of new/returnee friendly legions. It's definitely important for a player coming back to the game to get into one of those, as yes, most LFG groups are not very open to new/returnee players. It's sad that things are this way, but since we have such a small player-base it's unsurprising. Due to the size of the NA community there aren't that many new players or people leveling alts, resulting in the severe lack of groups running lower level content. With the adjustments made recently, it is at least easier to level to 50 solo, though I must say it's pretty lonely. The Aion community has overall always been pretty bleh when you're a newcomer. There's a lot of blatant trolling and not a lot of genuine help when newbies/returnees ask questions in LFG. I usually try to whisper people to give them answers and I'm sure there are others who do as well. This community certainly has it's pockets of helpful and caring members, the problem is they're not always around when a newbie/returnee is asking for help. That's why it's so good we have legions like <Chapter One>. Legions that are welcoming of our returnee/newbie players and can help them better themselves and get acquainted with the game. I will agree though that Aion's NA player base has a lot of people who would rather troll or badger newbies/returnees. I've only seen this type of behavior in PvP focused games myself. I do agree with Amarah about the pass as well. I bought this month's pass, and it was the very first one I have purchased since I bought the one at the launch of the game. I normally struggle to make kinah, usually sitting at only 10mil in my inventory. However from only selling a couple of the stones I got from this Pass, I'm sitting at a cool 50mil from them. Sadly for new/returnees, there aren't very many ways to earn kinah. You can't really do sell runs since you likely need the gear, and selling craftables requires you to be able to afford leveling a craft... not to mention you won't make much off of it anyways due to the insanely low price of most consumables on broker. What with the cost of skills, stigmas, and whatnot while leveling, there's definitely an issue for new/returnees. I've seen some demolition and other gold world drop items sell decently on broker, but relying on getting lucky enough to have one drop while you're leveling is kind of bleh.
  21. Worst part is: It's not even the thing we really need. It's enchantment stones, which we just got tons of from the pass... When what we really need, manastones, we only got one box of from pass and only 2/week from the event...and that's if you didn't wanna buy anything else from the Autumn Coin event....
  22. I know teaming happens, though I've never done it myself. I got accused of it once, but I have a kind of passive playstyle in chaos, because as a cleric with no pvp dps set you kinda gotta choose your battles. So just putting it out there that if someone isn't attacking someone else it may not be teaming and might just be a similar situation where they'd rather choose their fights if possible.~
  23. First off, this is incorrect. If you had read the patch notes, you would know that Esoterrace (Araka) has been introduced as a weekly dungeon, with one entry a week. The fact that you are saying this, when you yourself clearly didn't pay attention to the notes is uh....yea. While some of the comments may not be productive, I wouldn't really consider anything said so far as a "savage attack". Anyone who says something truly out of line will surely be handled by the forum mods with a mute, as has happened in the past.
