Yeah it seems that all the old Veilbreaker quests they forgot to change the renown they give to, only the new ones Fugitive and not sure if there are any other new ones give renown for Lethal Hymn, which is only 1 quest for now, so i'm still at 5.50%. Also on another note, why did they reset the renown for Nightshade Clan and Ancient Civilization Excavation Team if these legions didnt change, previously all the legions changed names so it makes sense that renown was reset but not now, makes me wonder when we get the other part of the update if we wont get another reset of renown then.

Its contracts from the survey they sent out yesterday, not really combining. With all the layoffs they had they seem to still have the person(s) there thinking that if they just remove things that we need from being obtainable by actually playing the game, people will just start buying them, while instead they just stop playing and this company never learns.

They seem to have messed up some of the Lethal Hymn quests tho, some of them appear to still give FEXP for Veilbreakers and don't add to the Lethal Hymn renown bar. I've competed 3 three days and 2 one days Lethal Hymn quests, i should be well over 10% but i'm only at 5.5%. Which means it would take months to even get to lvl 2 renown on it, let alone higher, the rest seem to be working fine as far as i see.

I'm guessing it will be the same as always, a couple of holy waters, a couple of tablets, apsaranta traveler legendary and a legendary selection box as 28th reward, last reward will be missed by most people because the "event" starts today after maintenance which will be long after midnight for most with only a few hours on a work/school day morning to log to get the rewards going. Also the post says the instances will reset on tuesday from now on, but what about all the weekly quests and vendors like renown. With the lack of feedback im expecting months of broken stuff. And there is no info, no patch notes, the loosely named "full details" news post seems to lack details about a lot of things like is luna gone for good for free to play, the post implies it but for more than a month theres nobody to clarify, are the new ultimate transformations being added in todays patch to the shards/breaths combination or people are going to have to find the hard way on their own that they are not wasting their materials and without the ability to restore, no info about the "events" like what is the apsaranta buff(i suppose its the nezekan/zikel fairy transformation buff, but i have to guess), what is the paragon pass. Overall, a lot of guesswork required.

@AriaTheMelodious-DN How badly are we going to lose, on world bosses ill steal your binary comparison and say there it doesnt matter if we lose just a little or we lose a lot, its a loss either way and every time fewer people feel like doing it, on sieges, you have the numbers to switch to wherever we are, as you have done when we tried going to silona/divine, you can come with half force, stop us, while the other half is doing either pradeth or inggison, at which point we dont have the time to go anywhere else but Gelk and even risk losing that because you take the forts twice as fast, and can split up and come wipe is in gelk too as has happened before/recently. Stop deflecting to that one example of a Mace that may or may not be fake, to obscure the fact that you have whole groups of full +9 paragon or higher that alone could and have stopped the entirety of us countless time, just because it makes your argument look better. I'm still waiting for a brilliant strategy idea from you on how to fight against that, since you seem to think this is some action movie where a bunch of heroes can outsmart the enemy against all odds, its not how this game works? I gave you the answer earlier, if you want this server to survive any longer, you as a faction have to make the decision to not fight us every time, it will give some meaning to the remaining players to keep playing and may even entice some new players invest the time in gearing up, otherwise the few remaining players on our side will quit sooner than later, and that will surely be the end of the game because unlike before, there are no more server to merge together to temporarily bandage the issue, until the same people get to cannibalize friends and foes for their own personal enjoyment. And on top of all when 8.5 comes the gap will grow even larger, with the amulet that gets leveled from world events and you know who will benefit the most form it.

I tell you that every time we try we lose, thats why we dont try anymore because its pointless and just feeds the ego of the wallet warriors, and you keep saying that if we dont try we wont win, when you later yourself admit that " Asmos are going to lose" and "You'll never catch me saying we're on equal footing". So which is it, coz you cant have it both ways?

@AriaTheMelodious-DN No what you said is basically, keep trying even if you are losing 100-0, otherwise you wont deserve the 1 time "we" let you win. But sure lets play semantics. What advantages are you leveraging, your numbers and gears, please explain what advantages do we have in your scenario that your twisting in your head to convince yourself and others that we are on an equal playing field?

Again with this fallacy that we never tried, when its been said to you a hundred times that we have tried dozens of times and the outcome was always the same, we tried for agent, we tried for ardath, we tried for world bosses before that and the more we tried the more of you came and we usually had some parity at start when we would push back and forth, but then the numbers alone will tip the scale off, where you would have twice or more the numbers and nothing we do will matter, at which point trying further just brings more frustration, nothing else because we have no chance of getting it once you outnumber us and this frustration lead to people quitting to the point that we cant even get enough people to even try anymore. That is what always happens, the more we try the more of you come and you saying that some brilliant strategy could make us win against 2-3 times the numbers and being greatly overgeared because getting even FS weapons on our side is a tall order for most players, is just lying to yourself or others. And thats not even mentioning when the Beavis and Butt-Heads' group gets wind and decide to come mess with us just "for fun". Which is every single time we try anything, but yeah its easy to talk who deserves what when you are on the winning team, isnt it. "Oh i would reroll to show you it can be done", but yeah nah, its too hard apparently.

Really, have you tried tho, because i've heard of people spending 1000s of dollars during the last weeks paragon sale and couldnt even get a single piece to +10, and you think you can make +15 at 0.2% chance at each step? And how much does getting Yustiel/Lumiel cost in snowballs from bots(i heard people bought 1000s of prisms from bot owners to get them), or +10/+11 runes and gemstones, all the hp ancient collections?

Not sure that it will work as intended, before when we had server transfers the majority of people were moving from the low populated servers to the higher only exacerbating the problem and leading inevitably to merges, so i would think that more people will move from asmo to elyos than the other way around if such option is presented. Elyos are already getting everything that they want, theres no reason to come to our side, unless whole legions there decide to do it to have their pvp itch scratched.

No amounts of coordination can overcome the sheer gear and number disparity. We have tried going to silona, buff and all and we still get overrun. You have answered yourself why it doesnt work, maybe without even understanding it, the time investment means we dont get new players, even less so when they realize that our faction doesnt get most of the world events, theres really no reason to spend months in getting geared and have nothing to do. There are a lot of new players asking how to do Ardath and Agents or world bosses and the answer is usually "we dont, elyos get those" and i'm not going to be the one lying to them that its worth playing asmo just to have them for the meat grinder, so one of two things happen, they either quit all together or reroll elyos to actually play the game and have it worth investing the time and possibly money in gearing up, which adds to the problem but it is what it is, at least they get to do something in this game. So keep thinking that if we just coordinate we can win everything, at this point we can only win if you don't show up at all, and you have too many people that feed of others misery and will show up just so that we dont get it, even tho they dont need anything from it anymore, you were at Gelk fortress few days ago, you know who i mean, imagine being so bored that you come and raid our fortress every other day just to kill afk players and alts and chiki still feels the need to insult people calling them/us noobs while spending 6 figures or more on the game.

I was able to do it in the first two days with the normal in-out HOA mechanics, so unless it got bugged after that it was working as it should then. Also "Stage 4 Mysterious Power Shard 300 Void Silver 2" is suppose to sell 2 power shards at Stage 4 and it still sells 1 like the non event one, so it feels like someone copied it from the original version of the instance and not the nerfed down one that we got here which only sells 1 shard. Another problem is that you cant reset it, there are 2 entries, no reset scrolls and you cant reset with luna. So you get a total of 6 entries in the span of the event, which most of the people if they even get to Ishkur will end up dying while they learn the mechanics and not being able to finish it, and thats if its not indeed bugged now. I'll try again after reset to see if it still works like it should.

Theres a quest that still gives it but its not on every week and you need a group for it(or at least someone to train the guards away long enough for you to loot the quest item), because its close to elyos base and the guards hit hard: You can also buy 1 Grade A contract every week from Hero coin npc for 15 coins, which you can make fairly fast: There is also the Prestige coins one, 4000 prestige coins for an evolved Grade A Rank 4 one, but that one requires the prestige pass and farming coins on alts, but at least you dont need minium to upgrade which could be a choir now with vault being only once a week: The B/C grade rom vault are brokerable so unless someone is buying them out in bulk for upgrading, theres usually quite a lot of them on broker.

You can sell Hero Coins from Arena of Chaos to Lugbug for 200k AP each, depending on rank and how many times you can do it in a window you can do few million AP a day, but these coins are also needed for other stuff from the NPC and solar weapons if you don't have those already. But yeah another thing artificially reduced for unknown reason, maybe just instead of making new content, they decide to cut the existing one so people don't really hit the ceiling too fast, but it comes as a massive detriment to new players instead, among all the other things that have been removed and never addressed like Hidden mobs, which also gave good AP.

+1 for unban, the idea that probably 1 person with an axe to grind reporting you without context will result in a permanent ban over a comment made in jest that isn't even targeting anyone personally, when all the actual abundance of evidence of much serious transgression go unanswered is just peak stupidity at this point. @Loki@EMpulse

I'm in the same boat, 4 Zikels so far, 0 Nezekans, next month probably going for 5-0, and in Korea they added two more ultimates to the pool recently so we will be going from supposedly 50/50 chance, to a one in four, and thats even if the outcomes aren't artificially skewed towards getting the bad outcome for the purpose of selling you the reroll keys, which is something i see them doing with how predatory everything is, and the fact that so many people are getting the same transformations several times which makes it statistically improbable on a 50% chance.

Not really, "last year" was actually this year in february when they did the snowballs event instead of christmas/new year time and it was only 2 weeks. https://www.aiononline.com/en-us/news/frozen-magic-2022 Anyway, they are setting themselves up for outrage again, first they didnt even announce the duration or the details of the event at start, then two weeks in they changed an old event page that most people wont even check anymore because its been pushed far back, and the expectation is for these events to last at least until after new year. It could be as simple as a typo, but who knows with them anymore.

So can we get some input on this stealth change @EMpulse It used to say January 11th in there, and the snowballs in the store are on sale until January 4th. Also your post is saying that next wednesday there will be nothing else happening except for the weekly reset and there will be no maintenance post, yet events are suppose to be ending then. So can we get a clear statement as to when are the current events ending? @EMpulse

Seems like VPN related or a country/countries they decided to block, i got that months ago and wasnt even using VPN or anything else, a lot of people from Europe got blocked then and had to message support to remove it, so if you are still getting it, send a support ticket i guess.

Aethertech uses cipher-blade, cannon/pistols you can use when you are off the bastion but thats there just to have some basic skills when you are not mounted, cannon and pistols are gunslingers main weapons, so when you chose different profession you only get the startup skills for the other one, the low cd ones are higher level normal/stigmas/deavanion skills which you wont get as an aethertech, you get cipher-blade skills.

Apparently that is how it is suppose to work, there were two timers, one Mission End, it expired earlier today, which means that the tasks are no longer active, theres the other timer of Season End, which is when the whole pass will close tomorrow. So currently you cant do missions anymore to level it, but you can still claim rewards, buy extra levels if you havent reached 45 (150 luna per level), and of course you can still unlock premium (2240 luna) and claim the rewards, because moneh. So it went from 6 weeks to complete, to being a mistake and actually 4 weeks to complete, to its not even full 4 weeks but about 26 days to complete, while taking almost all tasks to do so in time, or the easy button of <give us money> aka <pay to skip the artificial grind that we made up for the sake of giving us money for something that used to be obtainable for free and permanent but now its time limited and paywalled>.

And Like in classic, we are moving into replacing stuff that used to be permanent, with timed stuff that we have to rebuy every 28 days, happy times. 30 day titles, 30 day pets, Relics that reset every 4-5 months just when you've managed to level it, and surprise surprise, look at that Lumiel/Yustiel abomination of a SALE that starts tomorrow. Whale season is open i guess.
