What will happen if a character on Siel and a character on Nezekan share the same name?

The wont have the same name after the merge.

Normally in a server merge the characters on the smaller server are renamed to a random string during the merge process, and receive a name change ticket in their inventory.

Thanks so much

There is a phenomenal amount of afk on Siel, especially in Tiak QE, never seen anything like it.

I play on the EU servers also, and they have almost no afk. Siel is a joke.

So why does Nezekan server get super crazy special treatment with these reward... not our fault that "NcFail" made another "FAil Server" that split up an already low population!!!!!!!! this is unfair to everyone on Siel Server that work hard to get gear.

The point of the Nezekan server was to give returning players a chance to catch up a bit before being integrated into the larger population. Also it's not like Nezekan was exclusive, you could have made a character leveled it up (within 48 hours of creation) and been running dungeons or participating any of the other events that were exclusive to that server, there was no one to stop you. In fact to get all of the bonuses, you didn't even have to really participate all that much, just show up and in some cases make sure you were max level and that was it. Then you too could have had an "unfair"-ly geared character just like anyone else.

I realize that people often times have trouble taking things objectively and removing their own experience (or in this case, frustration) from how they view the actions of others. But really try and see it from someone else's perspective before saying things are unfair. I can tell you from firsthand experience that in almost every case save a few, mediocre teams from Siel would curb-stomp just about every team from Nezekan in Dredge and Tiak and this was despite the fact that we have 55e Gold PVP gear. The trick was, our gear didn't/doesn't have the benefit of being enchanted to nearly the same levels as the Siel players and the availability of enchantment consumables (manastones and Enchantment stones alike) are not nearly in as much supply, does that seem fair? I can tell you if you were on the receiving end of one of the Dredge beatings you'd be singing a different tune.

Yeah well, no one is coming back or starting anew in a broken game, there was never any point in making a new server. The only people who are/will be geared if nothing is ever fixed will be the veteran players who already geared up long ago and/or stored a lot of stones etc, this game doesn't work for new players.

Because Siel has had a 2 year head start to gear up, which I thought would be quite obvious.

Exactly this, my polite opposing faction member.  👍
